Well I said I would update after I verified my identity and was told that would release my stimulis. It definitely didn’t. And I found out today my tax refund was taken for the tax offset program for what I do not know yet but its not right considering the only money I got for my refund was my stimulis payments from last year for my son that I had in Nov of 2020. But my stimulis is still stuck and now I’m worried if they don’t get my payment to me before taxes next yr I wnt gt it
So short version is I was told when I got more info needed on gmp and put my other bank acct info in it triggered somthing in their system since tech you shouldn’t have got that option unless your mailed check was returned which isn’t the case for me my DD was rejected. And they sent letters to ppl but some got it some didn’t and it says refund not stim. ND to release ur stim u have to verify id or wait 10 wk. I’ll update if I get any change
So I just wanted to post and say what my exp with this issue has been. I got a letter on April 2 saying my refund was returned bcz of bank errors so it would be 10 wks to see if I was actually me and due the $. I hadn’t filed my taxes yet so I called and they said it was for my stim which was rejected on March 17th for idk y. So I had to verify my id for taxes n did that 2day n lady to me my stim will be updated now to n was held due to bank info change triggered id verify
