This is what I am getting.
I filed for 2018 not 2019 received 1st stimulus via entering info. I believe the AGI from 2019 was used this time unlike last time when both 2018 & 2019 were used. I believe because I didn’t file for 2019 I have to wait and request 2nd stimulus on taxes.
This may be the case for many of us. Thoughts?

When I pull mine on the IRS site it only shows the the last few years up until 2020 even though I got the first stimulus.

Im over it already. Even though 10 calendar days not including holiday n weekends will be the 27th, if im not mistaken, but Irs dropped the ball. This is ridiculous. Im hearing so many scenarios, at this point..im done😤 I definitely spoke to an agent that clarified 10 calendar days FROM 13TH not including holiday n weekends, yet others said when they spoketo irs agent, they had NO IDEA what themeta prenote was. At one point I heard the IRS “system was coming back online” on the 25th.
Combine that with the IRS official statement that says they’ll have the stimulus out “later this month” and I’m hoping we’ll see it Monday. If not Monday throughout next week. That said, I’ll believe it when I see it at this point.

I have been following this thread for a few days. I also revived the pre-note but have yet to receive my refund. I just downloaded my transcript and it also says.. refund issued (600) 1-4-21, tax relief credit (-600) 1-18-21 but of course nothing as of yet has been deposited

I called the irs today and they told me that don’t go by the transcript. Go by the gmp tool. They said all the transcript means is that you are eligible for the second stimulus.

As someone else posted here, I downloaded my it’s transcript from irs.gov for 2020 and it shows I was credited my stimulus on 1/4/2021. I did not receive anything. I got the meta tax prenote on 1/13/2021 and the transcript mentions I was credited again on 1/18/2021. Hopefully soon!

@Je I used them but I have a greendot card vs netspend. I did not receive the test deposit either. I reached out to Republic Bank. They said some companies don’t show test deposits on the customer side of the account and gave me a number to call 18665811040 and then press star… if the following message said something about them the irs error then the IRS will be sending out a payment by the end of the month.

Spoke with irs today apart of the 1/4 then 1/18. Was told 3 weeks from initial error. 1/18 being date that irs received are check back. 1/4 initial date of error. That being said I was told to expect between 1/18 and 1/25 the 4th plus 21 days.

I was able to speak with an IRS Rep earlier. She wasn’t familiar with the meta prenote but did mention the GMP saying it’s unavailable is incorrect…if you do look at the transcript and it says a date it’s because a payment was sent to a temp acct of a tax preparer. The IRS is waiting for funds from that bank to be sent back so they can send funds to intended recepiant correct checking acct. The Rep did say it’ll take up to 10 calendar days.

I got my first stimulus check direct deposited in May. I am eligible for this payment. My second payment status still says not available. Is there a chance I’ll still get this payment, or will I need to fill out this 1040 form for the tax credit when I file for 2020?
Getting the stimulus check via tax credit seems to defeat the purpose of getting money quickly into people’s hands who need it because of this health crisis.

Just got off phone with irs..Representative stated if you recieved a meta prenote..we should be receiving something in 10 business days after the date the pre note was posted. Mines say the 13th..so im assuming 10 “calender days” will be the 27th. Just sharing this info. I know everyone is waiting as well. She also stated that they extended the 15th deadline to end of month to get stimulus out..thats why date to file taxes are delayed..hope this helps!

Where is everyone going to see timelines for how long after test deposit of $0, it will be till actual deposit is made? I used 1040.com last year and they said they have no information for me. My get my payment tool still says Not available. The test deposit of $0 was made by Meta Tax on 1/13/21. That is a good sign you will get your deposit soon. Republic Taxpayer did a test batch for the IRS. This test batch is supposed to be a precursor to getting your DD. I’m not sure of the timing, but it could be this weekend, fingers crossed.
