Nothing.
Most times when your status bar on the Where’s My Refund tool appears at 1 of 3 stages. Return Received, Return Accepted, Return Processed and how long it will take is found on the irs.gov site and tools on TurboTax, H&R Block along with other tax preparer site. But what happens when you don’t have any bars on the WMR? We have seen pretty much nothing when this happens and it usually doesn’t mean anything is wrong. Sometimes when you check your tax refund status and the bars are missing, they reappear as soon as the next day so you can relax. Check with other users on igotmyrefund.com live chat and most times you will find other who have no bars, and sometimes in a panic. We recommend giving it a few days, even a week, before you throw yourself into a frenzy — because like we said, your WMR bars might reappear quickly and mean nothing. Just a few users see a change in the way their tax return is being processed and often the Where’s My Refund Status will update with other instructions if you need to do anything.
