      I think the problem is the bank card they send and not the post office or the irs. they pbly issue the payment on the 26th and then the waiting time is the card issuer putting funds on the card and your name on it then mailing it. If you got a check instead then it skips that process and you receive in the regular normal postal time frame . . same time frame if you order a replacement debit card from your bank .
