Hey, got to go to bed. Work tomorrow. I know we are on the internet but all indications say @ inTheDark is a caring and decent person. I posted earlier and really struggling with a young daughter. She encouraged me and gave me hope for the Stimulus and raising my daughter alone. Who says there are no such thing as a angels???

I’m in Florida. I’ve seen that some have got it here. It’s just when the big update for dd today, those waiting for a check got lost in the shuffle. Glad for them but wondering where we stand..

Ok. Thanks for those that responded. I agree probably no way to figure how the IRS is operating. It’s just when a lot of people got updated for dd the rest of us waiting on the check mailed on the 24th got left hanging. Best wishes for all. I’m trying to care for my 9 year old daughter and explain why money is tight and mommy has a boyfriend. Sometimes shit falls all at the same time. Good bless and hope we all have happy endings.
The only pattern if there is one for mailed checks, seems to be southern states haven’t got it. Anyone want to add or take away from this theory? Just trying to figure it out.

Many got a dd today. Some of us still waiting on check due on the 24th. Any news on that? Any response will be appreciated.
Maybe this has already been answered. I made 18k last year. Mine changed from dd bank info accepted but then to check on the 24th. Then I see the first checks mailed would be 10k or less. I can reason maybe checks sent if we were already scheduled for that. Problem is, we wasn’t supposed to be able to put bank info in if already scheduled for payment. Nothing adds up. Any ideas??
So I stumbled on this in my JH paperwork from filing taxes. “Republic bank$trust assisted refund agreement” is the heading on the form. This is for us that got advance and money on the serve card. Item 4 on this form states clearly the account is temporary and the account will be closed “after authorized deductions ie.. the advance and remaining balance is disbursed to you” Hence, why we have to put our bank info in portal. I hope this helps. Yesterday, I put my info in and was locked out. I read a comment that said you even have to use all caps in the address if that’s what is on your tax paper. I tried it this morning and it did work. It’s the only thing I changed from yesterday. I figure it is just really that sensitive due to fraud prevention. So just ensure your address is input exactly the same when you use the portal.
