We filed and were accepted on 1/18 with no EIC or ACTC. We showed 1 bar initially, and then the last 2 weeks, we’ve had no bars, so I was getting worried that we were being pulled for an audit or ID verify.
I was really worried because it’s never taken more than 2 weeks for us from acceptance to DDD. Yesterday were able to order both transcripts, but only through the mail since we use prepaid cell phone. Today we woke up to 2 bars and DDD of 2/15.
This is the first time we’ve received W2s early enough to file before the open date, so it was the first time we’ve been put in the test batch (accepted before opening day.) Never again will I file before opening day again. I did taxes for 3 other people this year, all on or after 1/23. 2 of them got theirs in less than 2 weeks, and the other has to wait due to PATH act.
I just want to thank everyone here who posted because I learned a lot this year from reading everyone else’s experiences.
Good luck to those of you still waiting, and I hope those of you stuck due to PATH act get it as soon after the 15th as possible. :)
