Could be an audit. I got that message just before the “take action” a few years ago and then I’ve also heard it could be a manual review which won’t require anything from you. Either way, it’s not good IMO.

I am certain that my tax preparer told me that I was applying for the advance and the 5 day early as I can see two transactions for an advance on the SBT website. It says 1st transfer and 2nd and I only received one advance and then my tax fees. Does that show on the ones that applied for the 5 day early. I’m not sure of what software she uses and I normally do them myself but had a lot going on this year. I always get my refunds and deposits 4 to 5 days early anyways with Cash app. Thanks in advance!!! Do you know anyone who has gotten theirs with SB bank with fees.

Hi,Buttercup.. when did you file? I guess I should ask – what is your cycle code?Do you fall under path act?
I use H&R Block every year and they send the deposit out when it’s supposed to be sent out, so I usually get my deposit when they say it’s gonna be deposited. So, if I have a deposit date for February 25, I usually get my deposit the night of February 24. I always have fees taken out of my return, I do use my own credit union for direct deposit.

Updated as well. DDD 2/26 but I’m sure I’ll get it on my JH serve card tomorrow. Unfortunately I had a balance somehow from 2022 so they took that. Expected that to happen so I’m ok with it. I’d rather have them take $3700 then to be in huge trouble for something I knew nothing about til now

For what it’s worth. I have a tax preparer But I filed on Jan 21 and nothing showed up on WMR. So I waited til 2/12 to call tax guy. He told me IRS didn’t accept my return and he pushed them through again. Almost immediately WMR changed to tax one bar but Still never accepted. So I emailed tax guy again yesterday and he said IRS has already accepted my return. So I’m going to guess they aren’t updating properly .

You can receive your DD, and WMR will never move past 1 bar (happened to me 3yrs in a row).
You cannot receive a DD without transcripts updating.

Finally 0605 just updated right after midnight DDD 2/26! Hopefully SBTPG will update tomorrow and I will get my refund by Saturday I hope anyways. credit Karma and I’ve seen two people with credit Karma saying their DDD was 2/25 and they received the transcript update Wednesday night, and SBTPG updated Thursday and funds were in credit karma by 7pm Thursday. So it gives me a little hope

The other note worthy thing here is “early deposits”. Factually, their not early at all. Banks are allowing you access to the funds because they received pre-note verification the funds are coming. Typically banks only do this for recurring payroll and/or governmental deposits. In other words, they need to come from trusted sources.

Loans and fee deductions are not that same thing. Fees cannot be deducted from it before the DDD, period. SBTPG and agencies are essentially endorsees of the deposit, it literally works the same way as a paper check, it is not valid until the date printed on the check.

Loans like you describe are referred to anticipations loans. Someone is literally loaning you their money until yours is received.

I’m 0505, but a weekly , my transcripts always update on Fridays with WMR update on the following Saturday. Certain it will be the same this year !! Just be patient , we will see 846 tomorrow through out the day!!

Hey everyone! I’m curious if anyone else has the “requires further review” on their New York refund status? I filed January 30, they didn’t accept until February 4, then about a week or so later went to “further review” and is still sitting there. No messages in my new your tax account in messages etc regarding this and I already got my federal deposit! Simple return one dependent no path act. Hopefully someone can answer this thank you!

I filed using Jackson Hewitt online, they will take $25 out of my taxes. The money deposits, then about a week later they get their money. I use them every year. Last year my As of Date was 3/3 with a DDD of 2/22 and I received my money on 2/16.
