Also splurged a bit and grilled some beautiful T-bone steaks and fresh asparagus for dinner last nite. Needed to have something other than pasta for the umpteenth time.

What is sad is as long as it took to come it didn’t take my family 1/2 a day to pretty much spend all $3900. Between bills and stocking up on food and supplies that amount didn’t go very far.
The one thing I did do for extra supplies is I went and bought 4 5 gal gas cans and filled them up at $1.98/gal. Figured getting 20 gals of gas stored at that cheap was a smart idea.
Every possible scenario was expressed by those on here. Eg did the RAL and had Amex serve, Diddy the RAL and had taxes sent to some other bank, etc etc. Eventually we all have gotten our $$$.
I know its frustrating and stressful, but it is coming, and everyone on here is praying 🙏 for all to get through this stressful waiting game.
Good morning peoples. For those still waiting, keep up the faith. It will come. All of us were experiencing the same emotions and thoughts in that we were in disbelief that we would actually receive our alloted Stimulus $$$, but eventually, no matter what our scenario was it came. Whatever the doubt or fear of how/when you provided your banking information will be answered with you receiving your stimulus $$$.
I swear anybody else getting blasted with email offers to get your stimulus money faster. Ever since I received my stimulus I’ve gotten like 8 or 9 emails today. Ppl gotta be stupid to fall for that crap.

Yes I got mine around 4:30 this morning DD to my bank. I’m sooo happy for you. To all those who are still waiting hang in there it’s coming. I know its stressful, we are here till the end.

Breakfast, breakfast you ask. Well my household has a Sunday tradition of which this pandemic has altered. Every Sunday we all load up in the Traverse and go to KK, Krispy Kreme, watch the donuts being made and each chose 2 donuts 🍩. Also get juice, milk or coffee. Unfortunately, now we can only go thru the drive thru, but we are now going to the park, sitting on the grass, and enjoying our donuts in the nice warm weather.@InTheDark,
I agree while heartedly. God is constantly trying to teach us to strive to be the best we can be. Hopefully we all not only learn to manage our finances better, but also continue to show our faith in each other. Paying it forward in kindness to our fellow man and women.
I’m truly sorry not everyone here got an update on their status
I thought everyone had based on all the posts of many getting their updated status. Have faith it is coming soon. Speaking outta turn here, but I’m sure most everyone here will see this through until all know their $$$ is coming. Our prayers 🙏 are here for you.IMHO, all is God’s will, and he rewarded our faith by introducing this group to each other to have each other to help guide each of us through, what is a difficult situation for many. We all made friendships and that is a reward.
I will miss all of you, but will be here to see it through till the end. WHEN WE ALL GET PAID!!!!
We must all still remember that this was a small test brought on by a much bigger problem. May those who have been stricken by Covid 19, in sickness or in death, be Blessed and may God protect 🙏 us all.
To everyone here, even those who really didn’t join in the conversation but were there and part of the group, thank you all. This group of ppl has proven that even in the face of darkness, that even when adversity strikes, that through hardship and pain, Americans: regardless of race, creed, religion, or sex, will stand strong with each other and prove that human kindness is still alive and well. God has smiled on this lil group and rewarded us for our faith.
From last nite we all updated to DD on the 30th. Haven’t seen the $$ yet, but at least now we all know.
We all now know we will receive our DD by the 30th. Yes Christina the question is can we now get even luckier and receive it early. One can only pray 🙏. Ours prayers thus far have been answered and God has seen us through this part of our journey. May he continue to watch over us all. God Bless everyone and thank you for being a part of this group.
Well, I had to wait till after midnight, cuz I feared I would get locked out. This is truly a HAPPY DAY for us all. I am so excited for all of us. We stuck thru this, the drama, the fear, the ups and downs. Now here we are, as one who’ve already gotten their checks, with others knowing theirs is coming. Now those of us who thought we were forgotten and left in limbo.

Altered Carbon, on Netflix is also really good. Future/Sci fi/drama. Can be kinda graphic, so if you’re squeamish to blood you may not like. Also can be hard to follow, but its one of my favorite series.
You’ll like it. Like I said can be hard to follow, just don’t give up on it. They do a really good job of pulling it all together

Well, living in Vegas, where there are no state taxes, they get you where they can. I mean I live in a gared community 3800 sq ft home, with a pretty heafty price tag.

I pay a shit ton of taxes. Hell even though my house is paid off, I still pat $11200 a year in property tax. That’ll I’ll never recover.

Mornimg/afternoon all. Yes the WSJ news article is what gave us all some positive hope last nite. Unfortunately it still hasn’t happened for those of us who outright just had to provide DD information. System didn’t have incorrect last 4 that was sent to wherever then corrected by ppl, which then the system gave them check in the mail date of 4/24, and now they have them. Thats awesome. At least the number of us waiting is dwindling down.

Morning all, I’m guessing from the mood in here nobodies DD info has changed, just like mine. I know we are all sick and tired of being disappointed every morning, noon, and nite, but let’s not let this define our day.
Last nite we all saw a glimmer of hope in the WSJ report we read. Let’s hold onto that, it did not say it would happen last nite, but in the coming days. We have some in here who have gotten their checks and we are very happy for them. So let’s try to stay positive,
Nite all, sorry I missed all the laughs in live action. You guys are a mess. I was being told r o get a Clue as my wife and kids kicked my butt playing “Clue”. What I did find odd was in our game I found Quita 19s mom in the kitchen with Mr Green, and Colonial Mustard. Lol

Wife made Fettuccine Alfredo with spinach. Was awesome. As you said pasta has 10000 different ways to make it. Whe you can feed 5 for less than $10, its a major win.

@All, were eating pasta for umpteenth time. My kids wake up all hours if the nite and make themselves all kinds of snacks. Hell my 27byear ole just ate an entire family sz bag of Lay’s chips while my wife and i were outside doing yard work
Wish I could post videos, I’d share him dunking on Bronny Jr. Thats 1 highlight that will never make onto the ESPN hype about that kid. A 6’3″ white kid from Las Vegas dunking on King James kid. Lol it was awesome.
I’ll try again, InTheDark, don’t tell my kids that ramen, frozen vegetables, and spam is poor college kids food. It along with garlic/chesse loaf of bread is a $6 meal that feeds 5, and my boys love it.

Literally everyone on this site. There is good news though. Posted in an article earlier in the thread. According to it, those in our situation should see our DD anyway now. We’re not holding our breath, but we ate in prayer together.
Yes, the only team his AAU club loses to is Bronny Jrs team. LeBron James kid, but even then he avgs 18 puts, 8 rebounds and 5 assts against the #1 9th grader in the country. Can’t be upset with that.

I’m with you 💯. My 3 boys are all into sports as well. My 17 yr old wrestling and football, my 15 year old Basketball and track, and my 23 year old football. All are huge the 13 yr old is 5’9″ and the 2 older ones are both over 6’2. Gonna use this as proud papa moment , my 15 yr old is a freshman, and starts on the Varsity Basketball team. He’s ranked #95 in the country for freshman Bball, and already has 13 scholly offers.

Thank goodness my kids love ramen noodles. Some ramen, with fried spam and frozen vegetables, and $2.00 loaf of garlic/cheese bread. A $6 hearty meal that’ll feed 5 and my kids don’t act like its poor ppl food. Lol
What, mayo/cheese sandwiches and kool-aid isn’t a treat. Shhh don’t tell my kids, they love that stuff. Growing up in Baton Rouge, LA it was part of our diet. Lol

Amen 🙏. As tough as all of this may seem, The Lord may test our faith, but never shall he/she who believes in him be faced with more than he/she can handle. In this case human kind has, in this lil group, risen to the aid of others and proven human KINDNESS 🙏

Exactly, and if you’re having troubles paying 1 month imagine having to pay 2 to 3 months. Even though whatever ppl are getting from the stimulus will probably only cover food and necessities for a lil while, everyone should try to put something towards their utilities, even if only half a bill, it’ll make down the road easier, and if you’ve used some of the stimulus money towards bills, you won’t miss it on the dinner table..
