That honestly makes no sense considering millions of us HAVE gone to the site, updated our dd info, and now are being told it’s being mailed. What gives?
This is true @rico as I just read for myself not even a minute ago. Yet again, many of us have updated dd info on wed only to find were getting a paper check starting april 24th. So who’s lying? IRS or Treasury?
Idk…. I put in my info for dd on Wednesday early am. IRS portal confirmed and stated itd update soon. I was locked out for 3 days. Now its showing a check will be mailed starting April 24th.
Where’d u get that info? I’d love that kind of hope,… yet I updated early am when IRS opened the portal. They confirmed it and stated its update the info on when. Got locked out for 3 days. Now it states check will be sent out on April 24th.
Big freaking mess, people getting millions of dollars from irs on accident and we cant even get clear information on our 1200 to whatever amount with kids. I’m over it. They can keep their money. Why stress ourselves if we arent in control? It sucks but honestly I dont even believe it’s really coming. I can depend on my biweekly paycheck tho, no matter how big or small. Sure would like a taste of the unemployment funds. Must be nice!
So pretty much most of us updated our info as told to do on getmypayment and we are getting paper checks? I just dont understand. This could only mean the funds were already sent to our tax preparers banks and rejected (more lies from them). Not much I can do but really pisses me off. However, I’ve been reading in some spots about this being a glitch and dd correct info will be updated tomorrow… any1 know anything about this? Or is it bs and false hope?
I just dont understand the point of updating our dd info if they were going to mail it anyways.
