Received a letter 2 weeks ago verified my identity the same day. path lifted & still nothing… I’m irritated that I didn’t call Friday … as now I have to wait til Tuesday when I go back to work. I have been filing taxes since I was 17 I have the same dependents for the past 7 years… no major changes & still stuck in the irs limbo I usually get my taxes 2/21-2/23… this year I’m losing hope

From Chime – Tax refunds typically post on the day listed in the IRS refund tracker (02/23), not 2 days early.

Now I just got a text update from h&r. Makes me even less hopeful I’ll be seeing it anytime soon.

Just checked WMR and I’m at 2 bars with a DDD of by 2/23. Hoping soon. Now if only the state WMR would update. Been at 2 bars since it was accepted a month ago.

Same here Filed 1/23 and been stuck on “still processing” ever since, But I did get a letter from IRS to verify my identity, I also called friday and spoke to someone she says whatever was wrong with my return was fixed and place back in processing 2/16.

I had a tax dept from my 2020 amended taxes, this morning wmr updated with the corrected amount of my refund and stated my refund was approved for a DDD of 2/23

I think a batch around 01/24-01/30 accepted dates got resequenced. I used turbo tax and had no credits but last year I amended so maybe my AGI it asked for was confused 🤷‍♂️? I usually file within same week every year and get DD by 02/23 but this year I am not getting any updated transcripts so we wait!

I bank with BOA as well. They don’t typically release early, but I usually get my DD around 11pm the night before.

called card said refund will be deposited on february 23rd. Never had the card tell me a specific date. Anyone else know if the date when you call the card is accurate or if it could come before!

I’ve had capital one for many years and they never deposit on weekends or early. If it’s the 23rd you’ll get it on that day unfortunately. I have a 2/22 DD so I’m waiting for Wednesday.

If it helps, last 2 yrs my WMR showed tax topic 203 for offsets and both years they didn’t take anything. Just because you could have an offset, doesn’t guarantee they take it. Mine was from a state debt and they didn’t bother to take it, it just kept showing up.

My money goes through SBTPG every single year and they’ve never held it until the refund date. I’ve always gotten it a few days early. Because of the weekend and holiday, I’m expecting mine Tuesday.

Also, checking after noon is best. I’ve been told this directly from them and I always get my money a few hours after it moves to funded, as I always receive my money around dinner time.

@GoFigure actually Republic told me today not everyone’s showed up yesterday it can actually show up any day up until the actual DDD. I just know moving forward I will pay fees upfront. Last year I paid up front my DDD was 2/24 & I received it 2/18.

FYI*****Also….. for those who are wondering why they don’t see any pending deposits from my previous year experience. I never received any type of pending notifications. It would just pop up in my bank account. Everything is instantaneously once SBTG Update their system to FUNDED for your refund usually within a matter of minutes or 1 hour….the deposit hard hits into your account.

@Jkingz you’re right this is my first year having fees taken out & never again. Except it’s not SBTPG it’s Republic, which is basically just a processor also then it gets sent to my bank which doesn’t hold funds at all.

Last year on this forum a lot of people where talking about the extra fees and turbo tax was refunding them. I also had the extra fees last year and messaged Sbtpg and they took the fees off. But I was unaware that it was taxes for the tax product. Thanks for the info

The fees that you see are taxes on your purchase and a tax refund processing fee.

Hopefully it’s not something major because I figured if they sent me a notice in the mail my transcripts would at least need to update with that information.

I believe the extra fees are actually sales tax on the tax product itself. Mine does this every year. The tax product is taxed with sales tax but doesn’t show up until you get your refund.

Sucks that Monday is a holiday. I assume we won’t see anything until atleast Tuesday. Just hopeful I would have some luck with a deposit today but doubt it.

I’m thinking maybe in my case has something to do with 2021 amended tax return.
When I filed my 2022 return, I also filed a 2021 return as well. Both show as processing as of right now.
It could be something to do with that, who knows anymore….
My CPA told me they will process my 20222 even with 2021 amendment pending, but I’m not sure I totally believe that.

I spoke with someone from sbtpg today and she told me they received my refund yesterday but it can take up to 24 to 48 hours it has to process through the system I spoke with them at this number (800) 901-6663

I am still stuck with only the bottom right transcript with a 2022. I did update on the WMR but it now say “still processing”.

I had they same thought that if they sent me a letter it should have at least update on my transcripts.

I am a weekly so I am hoping for some better movement next Friday into Saturday.

Didn’t use tax slayer, but have NFCU. Acct shows refund as pending deposit in scheduled transactions and is scheduled to post 2/23 so guess not getting it early.

I just found if anyone needs it. If you have the offset message and you call and it say none found. Instead of hitting option 1 for seeing if you have any hit option 2. That one tells you what has already been paid and how much and to who.

Just checked my H&r block account and this is the message posted. So they obviously received my deposit just waiting on them to send to my bank. I’m using Chime so I should receive it as soon as they send it.

I was getting concerned because my transcripts showed N/A all day yesterday, and I’m a weekly. About 10 minutes ago I checked and had the glorious code 846!!!! My deposit date shows as 2-24. I’m very grateful!!!

Filed thru taxact. Free file due to the amount I made in the year so I paid zero fees. Message via its says DD 2/22/23. Heard some people already have received theirs with a later deposit date. Anyone with CapOne get their return yet? Also according to CapOnes twitter account, they don’t hold or delay tax dd. This is my first year using my CapOne. Normally used Bank Of America or some other prepaid card.

Mine is the same. And I called and they show nothing my transcript has only 846. The number I called says it is updated daily. But I would think if they put a notice on WRM then they should have some kind of information to know if a person owes something.

I used TT &CK with fees no advance. Transcripts have a dd of 2/23 amd no bad codes to show an offset, WRM has 2 bars no date and an offset notice but does say I should have it by 2/28

I do have a question for experts around here: the transcripts should update for any reason the return is processed, right? Even if its an audit, ID verify or any hiccups I would assume with the code to reflect that.
I still have N/A after it was accepted on Jan 30 and don’t know what to expect.
