Filed & Accepted 2/25. Bars disappeared early March. WMR and Transcripts updated Friday, May 7th…almost 10 weeks to the day. That appears to be the magic date for returns that are just being manually reviewed. DDD supposed to be May 12. I will let you all know. Light at the end of the tunnel…..Just hoping it isn’t a train.
Weekly update. Filed/Accepted 2/25. Lost bars in early May. Transcript updated ‘As Of’ date May 3, 2021. I called IRS and waited on hold for 45 minutes. Rep had absolutely no new info and couldn’t tell me what the delay is. WMR still shows TT152. I did learn that there is a subtle difference in the message. If it says ‘still being processed’..basically means they have done nothing with your return. If it says ‘is being processed’ that means you can expect your refund soon.
Weekly Update to the Group. Filed 2/25/Approved 2/25. Lost bars 2nd week of March. No change to WMR. Same Message TT152. HOWEVER, checked transcripts and the ‘As of’ date shows 5/3/21….so maybe some hope? I will let the group know if anything happens Monday. But, like many of you, I am not hopeful of anything happening at this point. With the IRS…just set your expectations REALLY low and you will never be disappointed.
Week 8 update. Filed 2/25 & Accepted 2/25. Called IRS last week was told the whole ‘wait 10 week’s thing. Checked Transcript and WMR today….unfortunately, no update to report. Still same message with TT152. Update all next week……
Filed 2/25/Approved 2/25. Bars gone early March TT152. I spoke to IRS Today. Very nice agent. She is telling me the same story….looked at my return…no issues…just needed to be manually reviewed due to my adopting a child in 2020. She said to wait the 10 weeks, which would be May 6th. I know people are frustrated at this point…but if I could offer one suggestion when calling the IRS…be nice…these are just folks doing their job. You will get much further being nice than hostile.
Thank you to everyone who has been updating their refund status. It gives hope to those of us still stuck in the mud with the IRS. I filed 2/24 and was accepted 2/25. Same story as many…..2 weeks or so later…bars gone. We received your refund…… msg. TT152. No change to my status and nothing on my IRS Transcript. From what I am seeing on the threads….it looks like I may still be 2 weeks out from seeing any updates. So frustrating!!!
