I just posted a link to a site that is giving a accurate time table on when to expect payment
im curious to know…. has the IRS released a chart that details which income brackets are focused on with each weeks mailing of checks? because im at the 33k lvl with 3 kids and i still have not been given a date
that would be nice. doubtful, as you said after Friday we shall definitely see
for low income households they should be getting those notifications now. they stated they would release 5 million checks a week. so due to my income i don’t see mine being updated for at least another 2 weeks. i will know for certain once mine does update. i went Thursday last week to update my information. and it currently still says waiting for DD to check back
and like the already announced statement about checks being sent in order of lowest income first…. my status still shows it will be DD. i also make 33k a year. i can say that 3 people i work with that are in a lower pay scale said it told them DD and then changed to mailed check. i expect i should receive a check mid may…. again this is just my theory.
OK so i have a theory. the IRS sent the stimulus payments out DD. people with clear account and DD information. got paid no problem. the unfortunate ones like us who got screwed had our payments returned to the IRS… the IRS will not be sending it out a second DD, instead they will send it out in the form of a check.

i have a great update, but the site is not letting me post….OK so i have a update from yesterday. i went to the IRS site and changed my direct deposit successfully. if you have a serve card… change your DD info immediately unless you want to wait a month for a paper check. the issue is the IRS will see republic bank as your DD information. they will not send the payment to them. they will issue you a check. when you file your tax return and take the early refund, or assisted refund, it goes through republic bank. they are the ones loaning you the money for both the fees for filing, and the advance you received. once the IRS sends your money it goes to republic bank. they take the loan and fees out and then republic bank sends the funds to the serve card. the IRS does not have your banking information!! so they will not send your money through DD!! you need to go to Jackson Hewitt and ask for your 1040 form. on the form is all the information you need for the IRS portal to both check your status, and if they need additional information. once you enter the information from line 8A for the annual gross income, and line 21A for the total refund amount. after that you have to input another DD. it can be a bank account, or even a prepaid card. if you have the information from serve… you can even use the routing and account number from serve.. then you WILL get your funds on the serve card… but only if you do that. hope this helps. stay strong guys, we will make it to the other side.

it was so thoughtful of them to never NEVER!! give us a heads up so we could have done this already….
JH rep told me that it was going through republic bank if you got the assisted refund. if you filed taxes and paid fees up front out of pocket that you will get it faster. is the IRS portal accurate? because they said i was approved but the needed additional information.
so what do we do then?
