My original check was mailed 3/3/20 but for some reason my mail carrier did not foward it to my new address, so it was sent back to them. They remailed it to my new address and was told it was put in the mail Wednesday.Checked my informed mail this morning….my check is being delivered today. Thank god.
They did not give me a time frame on how long it would be this time. I will keep everyone updated if I get my check any time soon.

Thank you…I hope so too because I was getting nervous I would have to wait the 10-12 weeks once IRS received it back from them.I received a phone call today from a lady at TPG Santa Barbara bank out if San Diego department. She stated my check was returned to them as my time had lapsed on my mail being fowarding. But because the post office and I both verified my new address, the are mailing my check to my new address and it will not be sent back to the IRS…HORRAY!!
I did not request a check…I was supposed to get direct deposit but according to TPG Santa Barbara bank my bank rejected it and they had to issue me a check. Been waiting since 2/26/20 for my refund due to someone’s mistake.
I’m going to call again and ask about reissue and have all my mail put on hold at the post office…see if that works.
I called them and they themselves at TGP Santa Barbara bank told me they couldn’t not reissue my check.
New to this form…has anyone received their check yet thst was mailed to them from TPG Santa Barbara? They keep telling me my check was mailed 3/3/20 but I have yet to receive anything. Was told they can’t reissue as if my check is sent back to them, they will send my refund back to IRS and I will have to wait atleast 12 weeks for a new check from IRS
