      It depends on if they have an order to take it, and the IRS actually manages to get it done. My ex somehow got his after not paying for several years. If they have a wage with holding order they probably have one for taxes but only your caseworker would know.

        Calling them would be a joke. There has to be an answer somewhere, maybe call one of the tax places like H&R Block? They are so greedy they may not answer without getting paid. Another page is to open up this week that may have the option you need or go online and file quickly. Claim $10 hobby income or something just so you can submit with direct deposit information. Hobby income under a certain amount doesn’t need a W-2 or anything. Good Luck!!
