Just so you know, I’ve been doing this for 8 years. From experience and what the IRS people and irs fraud people told me, is that if your wheres my refund says “we have recieved your return and its is being processing” then your fine but if it says ” we have recieved your return and it is being proccesed, a refund date will be provided when available” then that mean the Irs cant guarantee the 21 days return, from my experience it always happens with ID verification. It’s happened to me 2 times. Sux. I know, but get a tax advocate, there free, and will help post it through much faster. Or file a hardship, and show them your refund is causing you to have financial difficulties. Hope this helps
