I find it super strange that no news stories are covering the fact that GMP hasn’t updated at all. There is literally no info. on it.
The transcripts for 2019 don’t have stimulus info. They update regularly with balances owed etc… it’s just how their system works. The IRS said that if you see a 2020 transcript available; that just has to do with your stimulus. I don’t have a 2020 available but I don’t think that means anything. It may not show up until after we receive the payment. Who knows. I wouldn’t worry to much about what your transcripts say.
So those who have gotten a checks…can you please let us know: did your status change to let you know you would be receiving a check instead of DD. Or does it still say DD into account #**** and you still got a check. Just wondering what to expect. Thank you!
In Wisconsin. Been on here since the beginning. No update, not getting a check, still says DD with no date… at this rate I’ll probably get my baby daddy’s intercepted stimulus for child support before I get my own.
My baby daddy owes 1100 in arrears. I saw that my case worker submitted the information to the IRS. My ex would never tell me if he got an offset notice but im wondering if there is a way to find out if I’m receiving it? The offset hotline only works if you are the paying parent.
And… they may be trying to send checks according to income but I have family members who have received checks this week and reported/made much more income than that.
I wish mine said I would be getting a check… It still says DD to the account I updated with. On the IRS website it says use the GMP tool to update your DD information to get your payment immediately… Immediately my ass. Whey are all of the news stations promoting the portal as a way to track your stimulus when the damn thing doesn’t even update.
Anybody have a 2020 transcript? We will eventually, and it will have the stimulus info. I couldn’t get into my IRS account today so idk if I do lol
Exactly. Don’t these trolls have anything better to do than decide “I’m going to fuck with these ppl” and take the time to set up multiple user accounts… I know we are all on here constantly but it’s to get more information and try to ease our anxiety. Some ppl. naturally aren’t anxious ppl. And don’t constantly worry. Some of us do and can’t help it. So it’s just so messed up. I don’t believe anyone on here got their checks yet.

Those of you asking about your stimulus being intercepted because you received a loan, your stimulus will NOT be garnished. I read my loan documents and they state that they are to be paid back by your state and/or Federal refund(s). If for some reason you don’t receive your refund or it is held for a long time, you are then responsible for paying off the loan at that time. Again, I’m almost 99% sure they will not use your stimulus to pay back your loan. At least not ethically/legally.
However your address is listed on your W-2. That same format. Apartments are written as: #21. No punctuation. Street should be St, NO PERIOD. All caps probably works I suppose but it’s likely not the answer as to why you’re receiving an error.
