I called 1-800-829-1040 I dialed 1 for English, I dialed 2 or 3, the option for business taxes, but it’s the same thing as the option for individual tax returns, the reps are all the same. It put me through to the music where u wait for a rep. That’s all I did. I was trying from 7am til 4:45pm though. It takes a while but if u call later in the day it’s a better chance you’ll get thru. Also no, my transcript wasn’t updated at all, so don’t be alarmed. @wmr2021, GOOD LUCK
I’ll tell u one thing… I’m gonna get some GOOD sleep tonight! I mean really, I was up every night til 3-4am checking WMR, depressed each time I saw that stupid message. GOOD LUCK GUYS!!!
Also, I was told that the IRS IS NOT holding onto returns until after the bill is passed to avoid amended returns. She laughed at me and asked who told me that nonsense… don’t worry, I ain’t say no names (wink wink) She said that stimulus checks will be processed separately AS USUAL. Yes, we had a long conversation. I asked her everything I could think of, I told her that getting through to the IRS is like being picked for the Mega Millions lottery!
I say that to say this, please quit waiting around for someone else on this forum to tell u about their experience and call those people up there at the IRS so they can get u straight. And if u are being reviewed at least u know that and you’re not worrying so much. I am also a daily update and I didn’t update for weeks. I’m still not updated, but my return has been processed, in review, and some more Ish. CALL THE IRS.
I was just as stressed as u all are, so I got up n called Finally, I tried again at 4 n got thru The rep told me my refund was flagged the day it was accepted n sent over to the ERROR dept That dept had JUST closed my case yesterday n everything was fine n my return was sent back to process for a DD My return was reviewed for errors n there were none I am finally getn mine after waiting over a month just to get answers

When accepted I got 1 bar on 2/12
That bar went away on 2/20 and was replaced with the ‘being processed’ message and NO TT, refund amount showing.3/6 I got the ‘still being processed’ message with TT 152, refund amount still showing, it never went away.Today, it is 3/10 and that message is still there the exact same way with the amount on the left and TT152
