        Still nothing here, was part of the batch for the 15th but 2018 taxes were used, no advancebut had fees withheld, so went to the dead HR account, failed, portal rescheduled me for a DDD today the 24th, still no word. I have logged into the portal many times and have never been able to update any info. Shouldn’t I have been issued a check after it failed the first time? I’m so confused why that same account info and a new DDD was issued on the portal?

          Paper checks are automatically being issued to people who tried to change account information on the portal, who already had the account info on the tax paperwork. The portal was not intended for people to change what account their deposit will go to. There is a portal for NON-FILERS NOT REQUIRED TO FILE and one for PAPER CHECK OPTERS WHO WISH TO RECEIVE A DD. If you filed taxes electronically with a DD, no changes are allowed.

            IRS portal updated from being sent the 15th to will be sent the 24th, but to the same last 4 digit account as before.. so who knows maybe this will be a loop until IRS is live again
