@ellabella yes the “manager” I spoke with said my fees hadn’t been paid and he didn’t see that the funds had even been sent over at all. he did in a way tho say he promised id see it soon so maybe they just aren’t allowed to tell us the truth and that was his way of sneakily saying il have it tomorrow after all. but the credit union said the pending deposit was from BOFI for the exact amount minus the fees to H&R and that it would post in the morning. so to anyone reading this contact your bank if they are still open and ask about pending deposits. ALSO…… goodbye NEWYORK.
just contacted credit union and we have a deposit due date for tomorrow, all is well
Lancy as long as your rep wasn’t just blowng smoke, you are a hero to us all in regards to providing hope in this time of need. I seem to only get reps at the IRS that refuse to actually pull up my account even when I went the route of not asking for a refund status but just get the tax transcript that my college is asking me for to determine my financial aid eligibility. the one I spoke with today just said that if the WMR says the 23rd then the money will be there on the 23rd but didn’t actually verify or put my mind at ease with a sure “yes the money was sent”
@ellabella I believe the response you received stating no refunds until next week was just the standard message we have all been told, that the refund could be as late as the 27th, depending on your bank being the keywords and no processing issues, I wouldn’t stress if the WMR says tomorrow it will more than likely be tomorrow that we see money. because as you are finding out every single one of us has received different answers as well as the same answers, rep to rep and that answer changes. but I strongly doubt and strongly hope at the same time that it is not next week, personally for me that screws over every plan my wife and I have made in regards to moving 3000 miles from new York to Washington and actually locking down the new apartment and not losing the 500 deposit we already paid. I will be getting a tax advocate if the bank shows no dough tomorrow
i also called the office I filed with and spoke with a manager they informed me that they have not yet received the funds from the irs and that it could take a couple days for them to be sent to my bank once BOFI sends them. this tax season is proper crap. I have never not received on the date from WMR and my bank Visions FCU does not do holds, when it gets there they release it. I have never been so frustrated from taxes ever, between all the lies, the ignorant customer service reps, the excuses and that god forsaken path act generic monologue they insist on repeating 30 million times. some of these reps deserve to be paychceck to paycheck and depending on this refund like a lot of us are, maybe then theyd be decent and understanding in trying to help as best they can. hopefully by morning we 23s will all be rejoicing.
