Still no update for me and was accepted 1/27 and no letter from the irs. I’m not good at patience but I guess I have no choice. Anyone else in the same boat?
Same boat as you Cher. I’m very worried now too because I don’t think one of my employers from last year sent my wages in a timely manner.
But, what does SSA have to do with the IRS? The employer is supposed to directly upload the W-2 to the IRS. What good is bringing our W-2 to SSA going to do?
I just signed up for an account at SSA.gov too and see that one of my employers’ wages isn’t on there either. Just as I suspected, it’s this very small private company I worked at for two months over the summer. I’ve had nothing but problems with them reporting wages in a timely manner. They screwed up my unemployment too because of not reporting the wages.
So, what do we do about this? Fax over our w-2 or just wait until we get a letter? This SUCKS.
Sorry, but it is worrisome to people. This is the first year that I have been as anxious as I am because I really NEED it this year and that is no joke. In past years, I didn’t really wonder too much as to when it would be deposited.

I have the earned income credit, so I understand there’s a delay. But, I can’t believe nothing has been updated on the WMR site yet. Maybe tomorrow or Thursday. If not, I am calling to speak to someone because I have not received any letters in the mail and my return is pretty basic otherwise. It was nearly identical to last year.
Has anybody ever gotten their deposit before it’s actually updated showing that there’s a ddd?
Yes, I have in the past. It’s actually happened a few times over the last several years.
I filed 1/31 and have the earned income credit. Still says it’s processing. I really hope that I get a refund this week. In the past, I’ve had it happen where the website doesn’t update and the money is in my bank account. That’s happened a few times actually.
