FURTHER UPDATE TO MY POST BELOW ABOUT SBTPG:

DDD 2/24
TT Prepaid w/ fees taken out (Green Dot Bank)
Was told by SBTPG to expect 2/25-2/26
Money just came in so I think they’re just under promising as is normal in customer service.

FWIW I have TT prepaid card and fees taken out of refund with a DDD of 2/24. I called SBTPG and they said the funds from the IRS are pending receipt and should go through on 2/24, with another 1 to 2 days before it hits my bank (Green Dot).

For anyone in a similar situation –

I filed TT with prepaid (so Green Dot Bank) and have a DDD of 2/24

Because I had funds taken out of refund, the IRS sends to SBTPG first.

Called SBTPG and they said the receipt is pending and they expect to have on 2/24 with another 1-2 days before it arrives in my bank account.

Filed with TT and Prepaid card with funds deducted from refund. DDD of 2/24. Called SBTPG and they said that they have a pending transaction from IRS and expect to have it on 2/24 with another 1-2 days before I receive at my bank.

How long of a delay does having fees taken out of your refund typically cause after the IRS has sent to SBTPG?
