An IRS call center agent told White on Wednesday that “over 7 million returns were sent to the Error Resolution System to buy time.”To buy time?? I urge everyone in this forum to look up the definition of “to buy time” and then call and tweet at the IRS to no end and demand that they stop “buying time” with our money.

I called my congressman and left a detailed message and my info two days ago, his people got back to me one day ago, I sent them a permission form for them to access all of my information (even health records?!) and they forwarded everything to a taxpayer advocate. So we’ll see what happens. I WILL post an update, despite what Carlos or people like him think. SMH Hang in there gang!
I’m 99.9% confident that any legislation to make the first $10,000 of unemployment compensation exempt from taxes will NOT be retroactively applied to 2020 tax returns.

I urge you not to engage with “Carlos” or anyone like him/her. Please. The best way to beat the Devil is to break bread with good people who are trying to help you and to turn your back on the bad. A lot of people here understand your pain and frustration and we are here to provide AS MANY UPDATES AS YOU NEED.
I joined (created an account) to report “Carlos”. This is a forum to HELP people and to give them HOPE, not to mansplain and to be an egotistical psychopath. Now… any updates for anyone?
