No fraud allowed: There’s no law making postdated checks illegal. However, it is illegal to write a check when you know you don’t have the funds to cover it. … Unless you set things up correctly with your bank, the bank is free to pay funds out of your account before the date shown on your check.

And the Internal Revenue Service is expected to give you a new online tool as soon as Wednesday to get a better clue on when you’ll see your Economic Impact Payment via IRS.gov/eip. The IRS said the tool will let you go online to check the status of a payment, including the date it’s scheduled to be deposited or mailed.
Come on it’s obvious people are getting them on there serve cards. Notice the number of people posting on here has thinned out. You think when people got there money they took the time to let everyone know they got it. Nope they said don’t want to be called a liar got dressed and went to Walmart…..
I wish I could see the look on everyone’s face when the money shows up on there card lol….
I hope this taught us all a valuable lesson. SAVE SAVE SAVE. I know from now on I’m keeping a nest egg because who is to say if something like this happens again that we will even get stimulus checks. Just food for thought.

Why panic just wait for the portal. Guys come on seriously thy IRS is not just going to send millions of dollars to a bank. I will bet my whole stimulus none of you here who has a bank account will get a check if you use the portal!
So if everyone in America has gotten there’s today how come I haven’t.

The IRS does not send money directly to a bank to discourse to individual. The only way IRS can’t send funds is via wire transfer which is done through a routing and account number….
The only way the IRS is going to send your payment is via routing and account number if they don’t have that it’s not going to get sent. So you will be able to update that info in the portal.

I’m just saying I don’t have a serve card my wife does. I know it’s hard we are all in the same boat we just gotta try to be patient. It really is a virtue.
You guys are all going to feel real stupid when you get your money on your card talking all that trash about Jackson Hewitt and republic. And for the people that say Jackson Hewitt has our money that’s BS this has nothing to do with them it’s not a tax refund I mean come on people use some common sense. If the IRS says we can enter our info for banking this week why is anyone worried about a check. Because republic Bank is NOT the IRS they are not sending out the checks.
