I just googled credit karma spend account frozen. And oh man now I have a whole other thing to be stressed about. Countless countless reports of being unable to use funds. Locking the card for fraud. Of which it can take 2 hours up to 2 days to remove. Some people have been unable to use for weeks

I saw one person on here saying they got theirs too but I’m not sure since literally nobody else has. On sbtpg under amount sent to you early this morning it had an amount but no date. Now it shows a date under date posted or whatever so im assuming that means they actually sent it. I’m hoping for a random deposit any time here but I’m leaning towards it’ll probably be midnight. I did a test deposit and it posted at exactly midnight my time last night

I’ve been told by some that the sbtpg website isn’t updating on time and that the best way to track it is to call 8007797228 . When I call it says the generic irs issues refunds in 10-21 da6s and that they aren’t able to process my request after I put my info in.

@KJBW75 I’m hoping today but I think Tuesday is more likely. Some people with a 3/31 date already got theirs but that’s with cards like netspend that post earlier than non prepaid / online banks. I’m just glad finally ok the home stretch!!

@tiff I unfortunately just received my refund amount that I should have gotten before the $10,200 exemption. Everything I’m reading is saying they will issue the refunds separately and it could unfortunately be a while as they are trying to ensure accuracy. Hopefully it’s not too much longer

On where’s my refund. A “normal look is 3 bars. First bar is refund received. Second is refund approved. 3rd is refund sent. When you have 2 bars filled your refund is approved and it will give you a direct deposit date. Also on where’s my refund it will typically say please read the following information related to your tax return. And it will show a tax topic (152 is the one it shows when there are no issues)

So your DDD is 3/31. WMR by default puts 5 business days after and says if you haven’t received by 4/5 contact your bank. A few 3/31 people who didn’t have fees taken out already got their refunds. So hopefully SBTPG updates today still. Keep me posted as I’m waiting on sbtpg as well! To green dot card.

I updated today to a DDD of 3/31! Literally the same exact info as you. Accepted 2/13. Unemployment child tax credit. When you check your status on Where’s My Refund or the irs app. Do you see tax topic 152?

It’s a placeholder. The IRS still uses pretty antiquated computer systems. The as of date will often change during tax season and just means the information on there is current as of 4/12. Their systems update certain information on a weekly basis so the as of date is just a placeholder for the system itself I believe. Don’t quote me on that though
