There was a similar delay for EITC filers last year. Did anyone get a return sooner than expected last year? I filed far later than usual last year so the two-week wait didn’t seem strange
I have a DDD for tomorrow, surely I’m not the only one who filed on 1/22. I’m sure some who don’t have an WMR update will see their refund in their account on Friday.
The finance lecture isn’t necessary. Perhaps if this was a money management forum your concerns may be helpful. No one wants to hear any of that noise. I don’t know why, year after year, someone insists on humblebragging that they don’t “need” their refund. Does it even matter? We want it and we want to know when, that’s all anyone here need be concerned about.
There’s still a chance for us 1/22 people with no DDD. I’ve often not seen a WMR update until the day of the deposit. In fact, that has happened to me more often than not. I don’t know why I’m the lucky one. So check that bank acct/netspend card/whatever on 2/3, you never know.
