@Bobbo no, you didn’t make a mistake. I’ve called every year for the past 5 or 6 years with no issue. I always give it a couple of weeks then I call. No reason at all they need 12 weeks to mash a button.

I filed my return late Thursday 2/13 and requested refund advance but was denied for the same reason I was denied last year (said my taxes were being offset but they were not last year) . No updates on WMR or Transcripts yet, still only shows last years. Anyone see any updates to anything yet or know when to expect any updates. I am hoping we have our refund by end of the month.

I have all transcripts except wages but I never know when that one loads and my as of date is 3/10 it was 3/3 no 846 code just yet but it is a minus sign near amount

For some reason SBTPG has no record of my info. Every other yr I never had an issue pulling it up. So, I contacted TT frantic, and I was told bc I opted for the 5 days early, it doesn’t go through SBTPG. I don’t know if this is completely true, but I spoke to 2 reps and they both said the same thing. I did opt to have the fees taken from refund, but they said that doesn’t matter. I hope they are right!!!

I can’t check my transcripts online, I can login but everytime I get past the login screen I get an error message. So I just have to blindly wait lol

I never knew what cycle codes meant and I tried to read the cycle code section of this website but mine isn’t listed. I don’t understand what mine means. I filed early with turbo tax and paid fees in advance. I’m a pather and was accepted early probably into a test batch.

Early filers that were accepted before the 27th should update on transcripts tomorrow since today is a holiday with a direct deposit date for 2/19-2/20

With my boyfriends taxes, he opted in for the pay with your refund and was offered the 5 days early… But he’s on path so idek
If they can’t do 5 days early we don’t pay the $25 for it

Hi, I am not worried as all of my transcripts are available with my balance credited which is major if you have a minus . All good codes except the 846 due to the holiday. I used Cashapp and will look forward to a deposit by Friday with fees coming out. You guys do not panic. My as of is 3/3.

Okay typically I’ve been using turbo tax. This year I decide to try chime to file my taxes and for direct deposit. $0 filing fee compared to my last 6 years TT $160-$180 fee.

Found it! Scroll down some and it says there’s a known error for a small amt of taxpayers where it continually says transcripts unavailable! Same thing here. I filed mine super early, always do bc I do them myself and like to get it done. Anyways, my basic return info (income and return amt) is listed, but when I click on tax records and transcripts, it says it is unavailable. I am getting annoyed. Also I read the fine print on TT and it literally says you won’t be eligible for the 5 days early if you pay your fees using your refund—if that’s the case, I’m going to be pissed at TT for offering it to begin with. They were so shady this year.

If you can login your IRS account you can view your refund. It’s like the wmr website but you can access it unlimited.

The IRS sends out the direct deposit 5 days before the ddd they tell us. Banks are told they have to hold the funds until a certain date but TT will release the funds to you (like a temp loan basically for the money they have pending)

Washington State doesn’t have a forum slot here in the State Forums so I made this post for other WA taxpayers who qualify for Working Families Tax Credit.

I filed 1/27 and have seen the following message since February 8th, if I remember correctly:

“Application Under Review

We are reviewing your application. You will be contacted if we have any questions or need additional information. Applications are reviewed in the order received. Our goal is to process applications and issue a decision within 90 days.”

So, yesterday afternoon I checked my transcripts and still know 846 but my ADS update changed from March 15th to March 3rd, but nothing overnight as I mentioned before I was accepted on January 30th. So from my understanding PATH was lifted we just can’t and won’t see that until the next update, which should be Friday I believe. Also I’ve seen on social media where others have said they are PATH WMR never updated & they got theirs. I bank with Wells Fargo so usually whenever H&R gets word my funds are released before my actual DD

I’m hoping for a DDD soon but I don’t think I’ll get one because I’m weekly. I’m guessing my date will be 2/26 but since I only update once a week, I think I’ll get the date on 2/21 and it’ll be too late to get the 5 days early—unless TT sends it the same date I get a transcript update. The last time the 15th landed on a Saturday was 2020, so check your 2019 transcripts. There’s another thread up here about it. I was weekly then and received a DDD of 2/26 for that tax year. I guess I’ll sit on my hands until next Friday when I’ll get that 846 update.

As the title says, How does TT get the information that your refund will be deposited in 5 days so they can start the 5 day early deposit?

Isn’t that info only available via transcripts? Or does it rely on the very VERY (for some people) unreliable WMR bars?

I’ve always been in the weekly cycle and most times have received the deposit before WMR catches up…..
