-
February 17, 2025 at 3:58 pm #4541513
I also have a “mytaxaccount” although I have no letters there yet, I am still processing unfortunately. So I guess I didn’t expect any movement over a weekend and then a federal holiday today hopefully something changes tomorrow and I will update.
Sounds like they did you dirty though randomly changing your AGI that must be part of their “strong fraud checks” creating numbers from thin air smh..

Glad I signed up for the MyTaxAccount. Found a letter telling me they changed my refund and they claimed I made 5k more than I actually did!! It was all only W2 jobs this year and I added everything correctly using TurboTax, so I don’t know where this information is coming from, but it’s not accurate. I added every W2 and double checked numbers.
My federal tax transcripts are fine, but WI changed my AGI to say I make 5k more than I did. So now I need to appeal.

Well, I checked this morning, and my return is finally complete! I have a DDD OF 2/22, but my refunds always hit earlier than what the state or federal tells me, so I will post here once it does.
This was the longest I’ve waited for a state refund!
-
February 13, 2025 at 3:42 pm #4541190
Same. Crossing my fingers for an update tomorrow or over the weekend would be great considering how fast they are processing people without kids.
SMH “strong fraud checks”. Took them 9 months to do mine last year and they asked for the most ridiculous stuff. Holding my breath this year I guess.
Rebecca I saw your older comment you moved here 7 years ago and had it back fast each year, cheers to that happening again. In the past 7 years it’s taken mine over a month 3 years of 7.

NO new movement. Called, was told still processing, no letters sent. Logged in to my Tax Acct on the DOR (requires a letter in the mail to set up), don’t see anything concerning.
I truly hope there is an update for me tomorrow.

Hello all!
Same as last year, my return was processed quickly and I got my refund today.
Date filed Feb. 3rd
Date accepted Feb 3rd
Processing complete Feb 5th with Deposit Date of Feb 13
Refund hit my bank account today, Feb 11th. -
February 11, 2025 at 12:32 pm #4541049
Surprised nobody is in here this year it’s sad I been here forever it seems lol. Any update Rebecca?
Filed 2/4 here still just processing. Adult daughter filed 1/30 and got her state back 2/7. Crossing my fingers I don’t get pulled again like last year for eic verify it took until September to be resolved! Keeping hope high.

Normally this forum is very active, this year I’m not seeing really anyone else post! I miss the conversation!
I’m STILL waiting. Seriously hoping the DOR updates tomorrow morning with some news. I tracked when last year’s showed as completed and it was on the 9th. However, I counted the actual business days, and it took 11 business days last year, so I’m hoping tomorrow means there is some change.
-
February 5, 2025 at 4:25 pm #4540705
Filed and accepted 1/30, stuck at processing and still waiting.
-
January 27, 2025 at 4:17 am #4540567
Here we go again! Filed 1/20/25, accepted 1/24/25. Hopefully it’s a short wait for that refund this year
-
February 13, 2024 at 11:51 am #4535964
Deposit arrived this morning for me! Wasn’t supposed to arrive until 2/16, I estimated it would arrive 2/14 since it always comes two days early, but it’s here on 2/13!

-
February 9, 2024 at 8:55 am #4535541
I am still waiting!! Filed 1/22, accepted 1/23, still processing. The worst part is my daughter filed and accepted 1/31, got her state refund on 2/5.
This is so dumb
-
February 9, 2024 at 6:01 am #4535504
Finally got an update, refund complete and should be deposited 2/16. However, I always get mine 2 days before, so I’ll post here when I actually get it.

Finally updated. DDD for 2/15.
-
February 7, 2024 at 2:00 pm #4535350Monim
@fitmommy83 Wisconsin returns are not effected by PATH. I’m stuck on proccessing as well, since 1/29. Sometimes it’s just the luck of the draw :(
-
February 7, 2024 at 9:42 am #4535325
So if you have PATH, does this affect your WI refund?
Filed 1/29
Accepted 1/30Still processing.
I tracked past refunds where I filed on 2/10 of last year, the refund arrived on 2/17. The year before that I filed 2/11 and it arrived 2/18.
By all accounts, I should have it by now, but it is still taking it’s time. It has always arrived quickly ever since I moved here 7 years ago.
-
February 6, 2024 at 8:33 am #4535224
UPDATE:
Return accepted 1/29
Processing complete 2/1
DDD 2/8
Deposit in my bank account 2/6
Yay! -

To Cathy –That is an incredible turnaround time for Wisconsin compared to last year! You’re giving me HOPE! Yay! I want my taxes to be just as speedy as yours! I filed WI along with my Federal, which has to wait for the PATH timing to clear. Hopefully, one doesn’t impact the other. We’ll see if I get lucky like Cathy!

My return was accepted on 1/29, processing complete on 2/1 (at midnight ) with a DDD of 2/8. Last year my refund was deposited 2 days before the DDD so I’m hoping for the same this year!
-
January 31, 2024 at 11:07 am #4534800Monim
Filed/Accepted 1/29.
I’ve had a week turnaround in previous years.
Wisconsin has a new system and when I completed the form the refund they gave me was before they took out what I owe for taxes. I called DOR and the rep said to go ahead and file, they will correct it on their end. I hope that’s not code for, yours will definately take 8-12 weeks. -
January 24, 2024 at 7:18 am #4534493
And so it begins…
State file 1/22, accepted 1/23. Hope it’s like last year and I get that refund in a week, and not like previous few years where it took a month or longer!
-
April 15, 2023 at 3:16 am #4533433Angeela
Strange this year. Normally refund received very quickly (never has Fed been faster) but has been a month and still waiting for WI…
Nothing special with my return.
Anyone else still waiting? -
March 6, 2023 at 11:16 am #4532759Tammy
Still have not received my refund, accepted on Feb 8th stilling in limbo since then
-
February 28, 2023 at 9:00 am #4532340
I still don’t have a DDD for my state refund.
-
February 22, 2023 at 10:51 am #4531557
If the money for my federal return hits soon, this will be the first time I can recall that I’ve ever gotten the federal refund before the state.
-
February 19, 2023 at 8:55 am #4530570
…still waiting for the state WMR to move from 2 to 3 bars.
-
February 12, 2023 at 9:28 am #4529142
I don’t remember it ever taking this long for me to get my state refund.
-
February 10, 2023 at 10:03 pm #4529027Jessy1986
State accepted on 1/23/23 and still hasn’t been approved yet. Can state take longer if you owe?
-
February 7, 2023 at 6:13 pm #4528675
I’m still on 2 bars.
-
February 6, 2023 at 4:59 pm #4528571Brit83
Anyone in WI still waiting on DD? Dets below:
Filed 1/23/23
Accepted 1/24/23
Account “My WI Tax Account” has green numbers in parenthesisAny information will help. My state usually deposits quicker than federal. However, this years seems much slower.
-
February 2, 2023 at 6:16 am #4528319
State accepted 12/25, in my bank account on 2/1. I haven’t had a refund that quick from Wi ever!
-
January 31, 2023 at 6:40 am #4528108
I can’t believe it! My WI return has completed processing and it says to expect it by Feb 5. That is the fastest I’ve seen in a decade! Accepted on 1/25
-
January 29, 2023 at 9:32 pm #4527950
Accepted on 01/27, my Tax Account shows the amount of my refund in green parenthesis. but the wheres my refund just shows accepted, I think its just waiting to be deposited.
-
January 29, 2023 at 5:14 pm #4527940
Wisconsin has this new thing called MYTAXACCOUNT so I went in and registered – it only takes a couple days. Then I filed my homestead credit claim and the next day it showed up in my tax account as processed. But, they still haven’t updated wheres my refund. It’s kinda like looking at your transcript.
-
January 29, 2023 at 2:19 am #4527912Jessikaj
Hey guys!! Here again! Filed the 25th so we shall see how it goes! Seems like for some reason wisconsin is usually really slow!! Or is it just me? Lol! Hopefully they can step it up this year!
-
January 25, 2023 at 5:02 pm #4527592
Here we go against WI return accepted today (1/25). Wondering how long it’ll take this year. Past 6 years it’s taken anywhere from 6 weeks to 4 months. Good luck to all for speedy refunds!
-
March 25, 2022 at 11:28 am #4521335Rzlpzl
Glad I’m not the only one. Filed and accepted 1/26 for both fed real and state. Got my federal refund over a month ago. Received no communication from Wisconsin sayin I needed to send anything, but still no return from the state I have been living in and supporting for over 20 years.
Everyone else in my family has received their state returns weeks ago!! Even though they all filed after me.
Please get your $&@! together Wisconsin! This is getting ridiculous!!
-
March 14, 2022 at 9:04 am #4520282
Filed 3/1, accepted 3/3, got a ddd of 3/13 on the 8th. Was hoping to see it by now. Haven’t heard if deposits made on Sunday, can anyone tell me how things worked out with a Sunday ddd? I’ve checked my direct deposit info multiple times and it’s all correct. Thanks in advance!
-

-
February 23, 2022 at 6:29 pm #4516537
Accepted 1/28, no DDD yet. Not a PATHer, no offsets. What the heck is the holdup? I’ve heard about a dozen folks say they got theirs back a week later….frustrating.
-
February 23, 2022 at 8:59 am #4515905BeachBum
With a DDD of 2/27, when will it actually be deposited since the 27th is a Sunday????
-
February 22, 2022 at 10:57 am #4515130Meagan
I filed on Saturday and was accepted yesterday woke up to ddd 2/27. My husband’s took just a few days as well he already received his.

-
February 21, 2022 at 3:18 pm #4514757murfee
Filed my parents homestead credit on 1/26 and still have no movement past 8-12 week message. I filed 1/24 and received DDD the very next week, so I have no idea what the hold up is.
-
February 20, 2022 at 1:57 pm #4514425
Still waiting! Filed and accepted 1/24. Got out federal refund on 2/14 (not PATHers), WI still says 8-12 weeks. Our daughter filed and accepted 2/3 for her state refund on 2/18. My parents filed and accepted 2/4 got their refund on 2/11. Seriously, what is the holdup here?!?
-
February 20, 2022 at 10:13 am #4514355jjlarson
I am also still waiting!! It’s crazy! I have never waited this long for WI. Also a Pather, also got a ddd for fed, so yay for that! But what’s up Wisconsin!? Hope you get yours soon!
-
February 18, 2022 at 3:24 pm #4513179sistermooooon
I have no good news. No update to WMR. Still the 8-12 weeks for processing message. At least my Federal Account Transcripts have finally updated overnight with a DDD (I’m a PATH’r). So if Wisconsin was holding my refund to see if there was any fraud that the Feds would have found, and they obviously didn’t, MAYBE WI will process my return too, now? Who knows.
-
February 18, 2022 at 10:12 am #4512836
2/18 – no change. 8-12 week notice. I just want a date. Even if the date isn’t one I would like. LOL

-
February 16, 2022 at 4:06 pm #4511158sistermooooon
I’m still sitting with the same “8-12 weeks for processing” message on WI WMR. They are just using the pandemic as an excuse to delay getting returns processed.
-
February 16, 2022 at 6:34 am #4510715StillWaitingInWI
Filed and accepted on 1/25. NOT a PATH’er. Still showing 8-12 weeks. UGH. I have NEVER had this long of a delay.
-
February 13, 2022 at 11:38 am #4509391sistermooooon
Just popping on here to let any fellow Wisconsinites curious about others’ tax progress…..I filed 1/24, accepted same day, PATH’er, and still sitting at the 8-12 weeks message. :( Super sad about this. How’s everyone else?
-
February 11, 2022 at 1:06 pm #4508597
My daughter filed last Friday 2/4 and got hers today. I filed 1/26 and am looking at the 8-12 week thing still. Wtheck.
-
February 11, 2022 at 8:54 am #4508401jjlarson
Filed and accepted 1/31 and still nothing!! This is beyond ridiculous. Had the same info for YEARS! Daughter filed hers and is getting it within a week! Come on Wisconsin!
-
February 11, 2022 at 3:28 am #4508224BeachBum
Filed and accepted 1/25. Still showing 8-12 weeks. Filed daughter’s on same day. She received her’s the following week. Also already received Federal return. Also filed my boyfriend’s taxes on 2/7. He is showing a 2/17 date for deposit. Not sure what the holdup is with mine????
-
February 10, 2022 at 8:18 am #4507746CrystalCatlady
I filed January 26 and I still have the 8-12 week thing. I just hope it comes before the 28th, I could use it.
-
February 9, 2022 at 12:06 pm #4507435sistermooooon
WMR still sitting at 2 bars, 8-12 weeks! Looks like my Federal will make it here first, and I’m a PATH’er and have to deal with that delay. Disappointed in WI.
-
February 9, 2022 at 4:29 am #4507290
For the 3rd year in a row it looks like I’ll be getting fed back before state. Got DDD of 2/14 for federal, still nothing for state. Filed and accepted 1/24

I filed the 30th, and got the message late last night it was accepted. Last year it took almost six weeks to actually get my refund after it was accepted, so I’m not holding my breath this year. It will get here when it gets here.

Wisconsin’s Where is My Refund updated today 4/9/2020Have the following message “ Your return has been processed and you should receive your refund check by 04/15/2020.“
It’s a bit odd, considering I requested direct deposit. I received my federal via direct deposit. Regardless I’m happy I’m finally getting my refund. I’m just confused why they wouldn’t direct deposit? Now I’m worried if my stimulus payment will be delayed and sent by check???

-
February 25, 2020 at 9:23 am #4376236Tricia
At this point I’ve given up on my state refund. If I ever get it, it’ll be a fun surprise.
-
February 24, 2020 at 7:51 am #4371812
Day 28… Still nothing. Hoping for some good news today, but not feeling too optimistic…
-
February 23, 2020 at 5:25 am #4369463
Day 27… Still nothing. Not expecting much because it’s the weekend…
-
February 22, 2020 at 10:43 am #4368203
Day 26… Still nothing. I’ll be in Madison next week. Is there an office I can visit to help them out? Obviously they are overwhelmed. I can help push buttons!
-
February 22, 2020 at 5:03 am #4367490Tricia
I just got my DDD for federal of 2/26 as well. This is the first year I’ll get my federal refund first. Still no movement on state.
-
February 21, 2020 at 8:21 am #4364514
Day 25… Still nothing. Called yesterday, told nothing is wrong with my return, no red flags, it’s just taking longer to process. At least I got some good news today, I have a DDD of 2/26 for my federal refund. That quiets my anger a little.
-
February 21, 2020 at 2:15 am #4363758Angela
Finally a DDD of 2/28. Accepted 1/27, ID verified 2/4. Took forever but not quite as long as it took last year.
-
February 21, 2020 at 1:26 am #4363652Wisco42
Dot my DDD Pd 2/26 the other day! Filed 2/27 accepted 2/28. There is hope for us all!
-
February 20, 2020 at 6:31 am #4361511
Day 24… Still miffed that I’ve been waiting this long when others are getting their refunds in less than 1 week… I may need anger management soon…
-
February 19, 2020 at 6:21 pm #4360147
I talked to my cousin today, she got her WI refund 6 days after she filed. SIX DAYS! Why I am still waiting? This is ridiculous!
-
February 19, 2020 at 12:47 pm #4359404

-
February 19, 2020 at 4:48 am #4358431Gene

-
February 18, 2020 at 6:28 am #4356150Shelli
Day 22… Still no signs of any life at WI DOR in 3 weeks… Maybe the ones working on my return all got lost…
-
February 18, 2020 at 3:02 am #4355963Gene
21 days and still processing. Pretty basic filing and same as last year, and I had that dd in 10 days, What is going on??????
-
February 17, 2020 at 3:08 pm #4354997Tricia

-
February 17, 2020 at 5:00 am #4354288Shelli

-
February 16, 2020 at 7:08 pm #4353575

-
February 16, 2020 at 1:53 am #4352588Shelli
Still processing… Have been for 20 days now. Seems most people I talk to are getting their Wisconsin refunds in 10 days or less. Ugh.
-
February 15, 2020 at 4:52 pm #4352002Tricia
Ugh. Wisconsin. You’re killing me here.
-
February 14, 2020 at 7:03 am #4349685Gene
Filed 1/27 and accepted 1/28. Still processing. Ugh.
-
February 14, 2020 at 6:16 am #4349645Imanxious2
I remember being a week behind my bf last year,so if it’s any different this year I will really wonder what’s up, I knew I wasn’t alone!
-
February 14, 2020 at 6:14 am #4349643Shelli
@Imanxious2
Same boat… Been waiting for what seems like forever. People that filed and accepted the week after I did have gotten their refunds already, and mine is STILL processing. Nothing has changed, claimed the same dependents for the past 12 years now. No idea what the hold up is.
-
February 14, 2020 at 6:05 am #4349636Imanxious2
Filed 1/21, processing, no offsets nothing new for dependents, bf filed a week later and already got his money. I dont understand why my Wisconsin return is taking so long. Anyone else iin that boat?
-
February 13, 2020 at 7:20 am #4348267Cassie Milchner

February 12, 2020 at 2:53 pm #4347647Ness
@ Mo
It took about 10days for my ID verify but as soon as I verified the next morning I had my ddd which is 2/16 -
February 12, 2020 at 2:49 pm #4347640sabrinka
Federal Banks DO NOT deposit on weekends. The date that’s provided is received BY date meaning you should get the deposit no later than the date given. It seems the last few years the date is deposit 2 days ahead of time. My dd was 02/15 I can see the deposit pending in my account and it wiil be available on 02/13 which is 2 days ahead of 02/15. Hope this helps
-
February 12, 2020 at 2:32 pm #4347617MO
Federal banks don’t run on weekends but the deposit date isn’t the date the transaction is initiated, its the day it’s expected to be completed. That’s why many people actually get their deposit a day or two above the date. That’s why a did can be on a weekend or holiday.
For those who got a letter in the mail asking for verification of something, how long did it take for you to get the letter after getting the 8-12 week “processed” message?
-
February 12, 2020 at 9:20 am #4347174DW
Filed 1-22, accepted 1-30. No homestead credit or anything else additional. Used my id. Still waiting. First come, last serve? Lol
-
February 12, 2020 at 6:57 am #4347017Meagan
Filed 1/29 updated 2/1 with ddd of 2/8 received 2/6. Also for those that keep getting id reviewed, husband every year gets reviewed except this year the only difference is we put in his dl # when we filed and it wasn’t reviewed this year. Also for those that asked being a pather doesn’t effect state refunds.
-
February 11, 2020 at 11:26 pm #4346771Jade
How often does WMR update? It seems like people see updates throughout the day. Thank you!
-
February 11, 2020 at 11:20 pm #4346767Cuore Italiano
Because federal banks do not run on weekends ??
My ddd is the 15th, just saw its pending in acct for 13th.
-
February 11, 2020 at 10:04 pm #4346710Cece
My deposit date is 2/15, so yes it is possible to have a deposit on the weekend. Why wouldn’t it be?
-
February 11, 2020 at 8:51 pm #4346632Tricia
My sisters deposit actually came through on a Saturday.
-
February 11, 2020 at 8:10 pm #4346600Cuore Italiano
Sorry for possible redundant question.. what is the deal with ddd’s being on the weekend? I also saw someone say their deposit hit the account on the 8th.. which is impossible. I’m assuming it was the 7th and they didn’t see it until Sat. How many days before anticipated ddd are you seeing the deposit come in? Especially on a weekend ddd?
Thanks!
-
February 11, 2020 at 6:55 pm #4346521Ness
@Jill 8-12 weeks is generic..
-
February 11, 2020 at 5:13 pm #4346388RM
filed 1/29/20
accepted 1/31/20 (longest it ever took at accept)..
I sat on processing 8-12 weeks with no update while everyone who filed after me was already getting their dates and money depositedfinally updated today 2/11/20 with DDD for 2/16/20
-
February 11, 2020 at 3:48 pm #4346124Jill
Is the 8-12 week message just generic? I filed yesterday and checked it today and that’s what it’s showing. I have that message with a video on identity theft, I think lol I didn’t watch it. This is the first time I’ve filed on my own not using a service, I honestly don’t really remember checking Wisconsin’s WMR at all so I’m just curious.
-
February 11, 2020 at 11:38 am #4346001Ness
@Angela last year I ID verified as did one of my friends she got hers quick I didn’t this year I verified yesterday about 4:30pm and got my date this morning. Last year didn’t see anything until March year before same. I was an early filer didn’t get accepted until the 29th

-
February 11, 2020 at 9:50 am #4345878

-

-
February 11, 2020 at 8:41 am #4345800Angela
Still Have the 8-12 week message. I filed early but was accepted 1/27. ID verified 2/4.
Last year I didn’t ID verify but waited until March to get my refund and I was accepted opening day. I guess next year I need to wait to file until at least late February. -
February 11, 2020 at 6:22 am #4345680Ashley
I was one of the early filers held up waiting. Finally approved today with ddd 2/16.

-
February 7, 2020 at 10:57 am #4341782Tricia
Why is it the same of us every year who don’t get their ddd? Filed 1/28 accepted 1/29 and still no movement past that. My sister already got her refund. They do this every year.

Filed 1/11, accepted 1/27… Had the generic 8 to 12 week message so I called yesterday to find out what the problem was they said a letter was sent to me to verify my EIC even though I’ve claimed the same dependence for 17 years. So now I have to wait for the letter before I can get my couple hundred dollars from the state of Wisconsin.

I filed 1/27 and was accepted in the early AM hours of 1/28. And I sit with the 8-12 week message. It’s so frustrating! A few of my friends have already gotten their returns back! I hope I get my DDD soon.
-
February 5, 2020 at 11:55 am #4339184Toni
Hello,
I filed and was accepted on 2/3. The following day I had the 8-12 week message and a request to send in my rent certificate. Have never had to send one before. Has anyone had this happen?

February 4, 2020 at 9:40 pm #4338657Jb
Submitted 1/17
Accepted 1/27Got this message when I look up my refund. Is this the standard message for Wisconsin?
“We have received your tax return and it is being processed.
If filed electronically, most refunds are issued in less than 12 weeks.
Filing a paper return could delay your refund.
Our strong fraud and error safeguards could delay some returns up to 12 weeks.“ -
February 4, 2020 at 9:08 pm #4338633Molly
If you have a pending overpayment with unemployment will the state of Wisconsin wait to process your return?

Accepted 01/28, still processing. I have both EITC and CTC, however, the past few years I’ve gotten my refund in a little over a week, not sure what the hold up is this year.
-
February 3, 2020 at 5:02 pm #4337540Shelli
For those still waiting for DDD, are you PATHer’s for federal as well? Trying to figure out what the hold-up is the past couple of years. I used to always get state back within 2 weeks of filing, but since PATH, I have been getting federal first, which is usually about 4 weeks after I file with PATH.

I’m guessing I’m going to be one of those lucky people who waits 2 weeks for a letter with the pin again 😭 my filing had been nearly the same for 10 years but two years in a row slow. Meh, congrats to everyone who doesn’t have to do this!

June 21, 2019 at 1:53 pm #4329951Melinda
My stupid company kept paying Wisconsin state income tax after I moved last June. I didn’t realize this until tax time. I ended up having to send a huge check for thousands of dollars into the state of IL because all my money was sent to WI. Now Wisconsin is holding onto my money. I filed on April 15 and I have yet to receive it back.
I guess they are keeping it all the way until July 15th. Really disappointing if we did the same thing we be penalized. -
May 28, 2019 at 11:08 pm #4328701Dan
WI is a fucking joke…12 weeks to process?
BULLSHIT!!! More like 12 weeks to hold your money so we can make more interest…FUCKERS!!! -

F/A 2/23. Got my IRS refund less than 3 weeks later but still waiting on WI. I’ve called 3 times and they have been very nice and have told me that my tax return looks good, there are no issues, and no letters generated for me. They’ve even told me to keep calling back to check if I want! But the wait is getting hard with being so used to WI refunding so fast in prior years…like 2 weeks! I have car repairs and other bills please hurry!

March 30, 2019 at 9:25 pm #4321270Devin
Wisconsin accepted my e-filed (Turbo Tax) return February 16th. I got a letter requesting that I verify my identity by passing a short quiz, which I did on February 27th. It’s now March 30th and my return is still being processed. I don’t understand what’s taking so long.
-
March 19, 2019 at 6:16 pm #4317794Amanda
Filed at beginning of Feb .. waited 6 weeks tracking my return. Received federal weeks ago… finally received wis this morning. It was completely unexpected the website still says processing.
-
March 17, 2019 at 12:30 pm #4316330Sheila
I filed my taxes at the end of January. The day that Wisconsin stated they would “accept” a tax return. I am not getting back what I normally get back, although I paid more in, am a single mom and supporting three kids. I pay a lot in property taxes for my small home, sick of all these taxes both Federal and state…. I have lived in the same home for 13 years, my job is the same as last year, nothing has changed. I am still waiting, it is now 3/17. I need the money pretty bad, and here the state sits with it. I am pretty pissed.

Literally the same old story every year from Wisconsin for me! 8-12 weeks to get my return back!
This is my money that could be working for me in the bank rather than the state! Why should the state earn more interest off of us? They do that already all year long! Not to mention the already insane amount I paid that they are keeping!

Annoying because I am sure they filed shortly after I did but they just been sitting since.

February 22, 2019 at 10:23 am #4294499Sammy
@ Lisa Sue – What happened to you also happened to me. That’s why I encourage everyone to call tax intercept department and confirm there are no letters being mailed for intercept or if there are any changes being mailed. What happens and in your case what most likely happened is that the DOR made changes to your tax return. Then they mail the letter after you receive a refund or direct deposit. It’s very frustrating. Mine was almost $550 less and since I was counting on this money (I know I shouldn’t) but hey I’m not rich, living paycheck to paycheck – it really hurt me as I had that money going to bills and fixing my car.

WI Tax app shows DDD of by 2/24, today (2/22) I received my refund and it’s $780 less than the amount TurboTax calculated. 😳 I don’t owe anything that would cause an offset. WI Dept of Revenue is tremendously frustrating.
-
February 21, 2019 at 5:57 pm #4291876Sammy
@me – No. But just remember mine was not an interception as I thought, they claimed that I wrote a wrong number down under medical so they corrected my tax filing. So a letter was sent this morning notifying me of that but the interception department has access to those type of letters. When I called the main number they told me everything was fine and no letters were sent and even confirmed my refund which is unreal. You would think the entire DOR would have access to the same computer system.
-
February 21, 2019 at 4:35 pm #4291597King
Called today. No letter generated. Accepted 1/28. She said they are in the process of changing the 3 weeks on the website because that is inaccurate. She said please allow up to 12 weeks. Nothing wrong with my return so far, just still processing.
-
February 21, 2019 at 3:22 pm #4291397Me
When you checked your status on the WMR site did it say anything about an interception?
-
February 21, 2019 at 2:36 pm #4291241Sammy
Please see my post below. I would encourage all of you that are still waiting to call the intercept department. Again, I was in the processing stage for almost 3 weeks and I called and they would say “No letters were sent, nothing is wrong – it’s just taking awhile” Well that was incorrect because if it’s taking a while then they are verifying your information and it is a good possibility that changes are being made on your return by the IRS. So I was supposed to receive a refund on Saturday, but I received it today and it was a lot less than I was supposed to get back. I didn’t know why, called the lady they said everything is fine, no letters sent. I called INTERCEPT division at WI IRS and sure enough, they had sent me a letter this morning that they changed my tax return and it resulted in a lower refund. Only the intercept division would know this – the other departments do not know this so please call tax intercept.
-
February 21, 2019 at 2:23 pm #4291208Alisha
Ok here’s an update: I filed on 2/2 and it was accepted the same day. I filed through H&R Block by myself via their website. It’s almost approaching 3 weeks, actually this Saturday will be the official third week. Every day I check it’s still in the processing stage saying 8 to 12 weeks. I finally called today to see if any letters were sent out and the lady that responded said no letters were sent out and all she can see is that it’s still processing. She said they have to verify everyone and make sure everything’s correct so it can take up to 12 weeks, although she said she don’t think it will take 12 weeks. She said just keep waiting and be patient and you’ll get it soon…..Great… I kind of wanted an actual definitive answer on when I will get it but of course they can’t give you that. I usually always get it within a week-week and a half. This is been the longest wait time I’ve ever had to deal with for Wisconsin. Gosh! This is so freaking annoying. I got kids and don’t exactly make a lot of money so I’m relying on this and need it now!
-
February 21, 2019 at 12:49 pm #4290877Brian
This just might be the worst state tax filing season ever.. I filed 2/4 was accepted by Wisconsin same night via turbotax. Sent an email to the Wisconsin DOR last week asking what is going on, and received the same information everyone else is and they just said they received my return on 2/4 and it is in process, and to please allow up to 12 weeks. Unbelievable.. why can’t we have full access to where our money is 24/7? People shouldnt be left in the dark with questions on the little money we get back from Uncle Sam’s big pockets we contribute too everyday..
-
February 21, 2019 at 9:13 am #4290038Sammy
Please look at my latest post below. I called the intercept phone number for WI. I told her that I received my refund direct deposited and it was $557 less than what I expected. She said Oh, we mailed you a letter the morning of 2/21. I said, well that’s today so I wouldn’t have received that yet, lol. She was like oh yeah. I asked for the LETTER ID # so I could access the letter on the WI DOR website. I just printed my letter and it says that the WI DOR made some changes on my return.
Line 11 – We changed the WI subtraction modification for Medical Care.
Line 15 – We changed the standard deduction allowed based on your filing status and income
Line 19 – We changed your gross tax based on taxable income and filing status. So with those changes, my refund is $557 less. I’m not understanding this so I will now have to look into this. I file the same way EVERY year, have 5 dependents and it’s been correct every year so I don’t know what’s going on.
So….for those that are still waiting with no DOR date, please call DOR and see if you owe anything or if they are making changes to your tax return. The number I called was 608-266-7879. If they did mail you a letter – have them give you the LETTER ID# so you can access https://tap.revenue.wi.gov/printletter/_/
Thanks for reading.

February 21, 2019 at 8:06 am #4289754Sammy
So I was accepted on 1/28 and was approaching 3 weeks before I received my refund date. It was supposed to be deposited on Saturday but I woke up to my deposit being deposited today although it was around $600 less than it was supposed to be. So now I’m thinking is this why my DD date took so long. I received no letter about the tax intercept and when I called they said the agents can’t tell if the tax is being intercepted. I don’t owe child support, no back taxes so I’m confused about what happened. The only thing I can think about was that I was sued in court for a bill that was around $600. Problem is they already started garnishing my paycheck so last Friday they took $368 out of my paycheck and if tax took the entire amount then I’m due money because I’ve overpaid.
So, I just want to say even if you don’t think you owe money please give the tax intercept department a call. This has me thinking that’s why my DD date took so long. Again I received no letter (I have the program that shows me what I’m being delivered each day and nothing from IRS). Also if your husband owes (maybe it’s not you) and you file joint then they will intercept if his name was on your tax return. Same if you have a child and they owed something for juvenile court. I will be calling the tax intercept phone number today and I’ll report back.

-
February 20, 2019 at 9:35 am #4286033Amy
Filed 2/11 partial resident. Just checked and my return has been completed but my refund has been offset (what do I owe WI?! I only lived there 5 1/2 months!) and I will recieve the rest of my refund 2/21/19 and a letter about the offset.

-
February 20, 2019 at 8:20 am #4285915Alisha
Well…no surprise- still no update yet again. I’m to the point where I’m not even going to waste my time checking anymore. Clearly, the state ain’t rushing….maybe I’ll get it by the 4th of July 😠😤😩

@Sammy
Thank you for all that information you posted for everyone. That helped clarify a lot! I appreciate it! 😃 -
February 19, 2019 at 11:57 am #4282315Valerie
I Filed and was accepted for both federal and state on January 29th I have a direct deposit date for federal of the 22nd have both EIC and ECTC. I called the Wisconsin department of revenue for what seems like the 100th time no letters have been sent out still processing don’t understand why they’re not processed in the order they’re accepted especially if the individuals who’ve already received it have the same type of credits this is the longest it’s ever taken me for state
-
February 19, 2019 at 10:51 am #4282010Me
Interesting, I didn’t think federal was approving returns early due to the PATH ACT, I filed 1/22 and haven’t gotten any date for federal 🤷🏼♀️ As far as state that’s a joke 🙄
-
February 19, 2019 at 10:15 am #4281854Renee
Yeah my friend has a dd date of 2/22 for the federal and she has the EIC and other stuff. That was the first round of dd dates.
Still hasn’t received WI…I should say neither of us have dd dates for WI. Getting ridiculous.
-
February 19, 2019 at 10:13 am #4281844Sammy
The first round of federal refunds for people that filed with EIC was 2/22. My friend filed and was accepted before me and she was in that first batch to get her refund 2/22. They are saying the next batch would be 2/27 but we’ll see.
WI DOR numbers:
(608) 266-8100Toll Free:
(866) 947-7363Milwaukee:
(414) 227-4907I think the above numbers had you enter your ss number and amount and then gave you the status and then hung up on you. I honestly believed I called this number – (608) 266-2772 to talk to someone. This is the number given for Audit of Returns. When I called I just basically said that I was having problems with my mail and my refund was taking longer than past years and I wanted to see if they sent me a letter to verify anything and she was able to answer my questions.
-
February 19, 2019 at 9:58 am #4281762
@me
I have always had my state back in 7 days or less. This is weird. Fed I get but not really understanding state this year
-
February 19, 2019 at 9:55 am #4281746
What number do you call to talk to someone
-
February 19, 2019 at 9:54 am #4281728Me
I saw that federal is not sending refunds for those with EIC or the ACTC credits until February 27th. Also, I filed 1/22 with turbo tax federal was accepted right away my state was accepted 1/28 when tax season officially opened, my state is still showing the 8-12 week message and I have called twice and they said no letters have been sent and everything is fine just that it’s taking longer to process for some reason, my federal says processing I have both of those credits so I’m not expecting federal until next week, but my State is really frustrating me, I usually have state back within a few days every year, but this year is the longest I have ever had to wait, really annoying!
-
February 19, 2019 at 9:33 am #4281635Sammy
From what they told me, the WI website does only update once. The federal website updates more than once per day (2 times per day but they have longer time frames to update). I was also told from someone that works at DOR that yesterday they did work on President’s day but they did not work on processing actual refunds – they worked on reviewing and verifying refunds and there would be an update tonight. Frustrating I know. Also, I saw on another site, someone had a friend who is a programmer for the IRS and it does not matter what platform you used to file your taxes. So if you used the WI website or H&R Block, that doesn’t mean you would get your taxes first. It’s based on a computer program that randomly selects. So, take this for what it’s worth but that’s what I found out.
Hoping you all get your refund soon. I would think there would be a massive update tonight. I was accepted on 1/28 and I believe Saturday night (midnight) I received my DD date. Yesterday would have been 3 weeks.
Also, I know this is form FEDERAL but could also be for State. If your return says STILL PROCESSING then there is something wrong and a letter is being sent to you. If it says PROCESSING then you are ok and you are just waiting on a date. Again I know this is true with federal, maybe not with State but if you have a message that says STILL PROCESSING then that could be why. (Fingers crossed everyone).
-
February 19, 2019 at 8:40 am #4281320Me
Not necessarily, my cousin filed with turbo tax after me and she has already gotten her state refund back
-
February 19, 2019 at 8:28 am #4281274MrsW
The way in which you filed seems to be affecting how long it takes. Those filing directly on the state’s website seems to be getting refunds quicker than those filing through an online service (like TurboTax or H&R Block)
-
February 19, 2019 at 8:23 am #4281246Me
Yes, @Alisha. Once every 24 hours
-
February 19, 2019 at 8:16 am #4281203Alisha
The Wisconsin DOR refund website gets updated only at midnight right?

-
February 18, 2019 at 5:44 pm #4279284Alisha
@Amanda,
Unfortunately your right. It seems that they’re in NO rush to push our shit through. If I wake up tomorrow and the status is still the same, I’m literally going to be enraged! 😠😤 As I’m sure everyone else will too. -

-
February 18, 2019 at 1:04 am #4277420Amanda Erpenbach
Still waiting here as well. Filed 1/19. Accepted 1/28. stupid generic 8-12 week message. Have also called twice. I was told that it’s just taking awhile to process. I agree that it’s ridiculous that people who filed way after me already have DDD and/or their money. Tuesday will be 3 weeks and I think I’m going to call again. My dang return isn’t that complicated and nothing has changed!
-
February 17, 2019 at 9:31 pm #4277152M
I filed on 1/29 accepted the same day and I have been on processing 8-12 weeks since. So I am hoping for an update soon.
-
February 17, 2019 at 5:40 pm #4276815Alisha
Brittany, your money will most likely be deposited by midnight or tomorrow at the latest since it’s the weekend. Either way, you’ll have it within 24 hours!
-
February 17, 2019 at 5:31 pm #4276792Alisha
Update: Filed on 2/2 and still says 8-12 weeks. Hopefully it will update with a ddd at midnight tonight since its the weekend. For those that received a ddd or already got their refund who filed after, I’m happy for…it just doesn’t make any logical sense for ppl who filed after others to receive a ddd…I don’t get it. It should be in order one would think, right?
-
February 17, 2019 at 10:22 am #4276075Me
Still no update for me. Filed TT on 1/22 accepted on 1/28 and still have the 8-12 weeks message with no letters sent. I’ve called twice and have been told everything looks good and just taking longer to process…. ugh so frustrating!!!!!!!!
-
February 17, 2019 at 10:11 am #4276060Brittany
Filed on 02/02 and got accepted same day. Within the last week I got a DDD of 02/17. I have the emerald card through h&r block.. It’s 02/17 and my refunds not there. :( I checked the WMR and the DDD still says on or before the 17th..

Filed/accepted 2/7. Submitted electronic documents required on 2/9 for Homestead Credit. WMR has said 8-12 weeks until this morning, now there’s a DDD 2/24.
-
February 16, 2019 at 9:06 am #4273463Gellibean
Filed accepted 1/28 still waiting. Looks like a lot of people that filed on the 28th are getting screwed.
-
February 16, 2019 at 8:45 am #4273406Amanda Erpenbach
filed 1/19. accepted 1/28. Still no dang update. As frustrated as the rest. called twice just told taking longer to process.
-
February 16, 2019 at 8:26 am #4273361Karen
Accepted 1/28, still sitting on 8-12 weeks. Did this to me last year too. Watching people who got letters to send things in and still get a date before me, is crazy. I’m waiting till i hit 21 days and then calling. I have no idea why so many other people get it so fast but I wish I knew what they were doing lol
-
February 16, 2019 at 8:26 am #4273359Me
No update for me either, I filed on 1/22 and was accepted right away on 1/28. I’ve called twice and no letters have been sent I was told it was just taking longer to process. Ridiculous
-
February 16, 2019 at 7:55 am #4273294
This is getting real aggravating. My friend filed on the 9th and already has a DDD..
-
February 16, 2019 at 2:38 am #4272853Alisha
So I filed and my state was accepted on 2/2 (would have been filed a few days earlier but H&R Block had an issue with filing Wisconsin State returns. I just checked again today and it’s still saying 8 to 12 weeks. I’ve called twice to make sure that nothing was intercepted and the second time the lady said that it looks like no letters were sent out and everything looks good and I should get it soon. I’m just getting so frustrated that it’s been a while now and I still have not received any update. My sister-in-law filed on the 31st and she got her money deposit in her account on the 8th…literally filed, accepted, and deposited within a freaking week! Wtf…. So ridiculous! Why are some ppl getting their shit within a week while others are waiting numerous weeks without even receiving any update or DDD? I’m so freaking annoyed. I need this money and I’ve been waiting a while now and am starting to lose hope! 😭😱😩

My DD date was today (2/15). I checked my account and nothing. So I checked the where’s my state refund website again, and it no longer tells me a date and it’s gone back to saying 8-12 weeks…ummm… what!?!
-
February 15, 2019 at 11:42 am #4271443Sab

Woke up today with a DD 2/23🙌🏼🙌🏼 -
February 15, 2019 at 11:06 am #4271392Sheri
@Angela
Same boat as you. Accepted the 28th filed the 26th. Call for them to tell me no letters no problems just taking longer. Never have had this issue before and hope to never have it again. -
February 15, 2019 at 10:30 am #4271294Angela
Filed the 21st accepted the 28th still have not recieved a DDD. Finally gave in and called this morning. Was told it was being held up but wants t sure why. No letters have been issued or anything. Just got I’m not sure what’s going on with it but you should receive it in 3-12 weeks from being accepted.
It’s frustrating to see people who have filed after the 28th getting their deposits already. -
February 15, 2019 at 10:05 am #4271234Valerie
While I sm happy for everyone that has filed and received or gotten a ddd, it is frustrating when I was accepted on the 29th and still have nothing. And when you call it’s still being processed and no issues. How can returns accepted 10 days after mine already have ddd, I am so frustrated.
-
February 15, 2019 at 9:50 am #4271208TAMM
was accept on 2/4/19 says still processing….ugh
-
February 15, 2019 at 8:49 am #4271096

-
February 15, 2019 at 8:38 am #4271075MrsW
My DDD of 2/21 is now in at my credit union as a pending transaction to be deposited on 2/19. If I had been smart enough to also get my state put on my prepaid card, I would have had the money today. :(
But, at last I know it’s there and I’ll have it by Tuesday!
-
February 15, 2019 at 8:06 am #4271031
What numbers do you all call to speak to someone. I was accepted the 28th. I want to check
-
February 15, 2019 at 7:42 am #4270980Me
Nothing here still 😡😡😡😡 so annoying and absolutely ridiculous! I have called twice and no letters have been sent. Filed 1/22 accepted 1/28.
-
February 15, 2019 at 2:37 am #4270664Amanda Erpenbach
Congrats on the DDD!!
Thats the main reason I’m ticked. It should go in the order they were filed. I’m sorry but it’s bs that people after us got their money already, in my opinion.
Congrats again and I’ll keep ya posted
-
February 15, 2019 at 1:57 am #4270646Sammy
@Amanda – saw that you filed 1/19 and I filed 1/18 so hopefully you get a date tonight. I’ll be checking the forum. (Fingers crossed)
-
February 15, 2019 at 1:54 am #4270642Sammy
@Amanda it’s ridiculous I know. There was a lot of people that filed after us and received their deposit already. The Wisconsin website needs to provide more detailed information as to the status of our returns. I know I shouldn’t rely on this money but I’m barely making it right now and I really need that money so I was checking all the time. I don’t know what to tell you but I pray you get a DD date soon.
-
February 15, 2019 at 1:45 am #4270636Amanda Erpenbach
I have called TWICE!!. I just keep getting they are still processing. Some take longer than others… blah blah blah.
-
February 15, 2019 at 1:31 am #4270629Sammy
@ruby I think you meant your DD date is 2/24. Lol! I too have a DD date of 2/24. Just checked at 12:30 am. Good luck to the rest. All I can say is that I called 2 days ago and I would advise you do the same!
-
February 15, 2019 at 1:23 am #4270621Amanda Erpenbach

-
February 14, 2019 at 2:34 pm #4269881Amanda Erpenbach
@Sammy and Me:
Same situation here. 1/19. accepted 1/28. Still generic 8-12 week message. Really wish this would hurry up. Not hating on those who have gotten it already, but… Why are people after us getting it?!?!
-
February 14, 2019 at 1:09 pm #4269158Ms. G
After submitting the documents that were requested for the review of my refund on 2/7 , I received a ddd of 2/17 on 2/9. So the turn around time for my review was really fast received dd 2/13 in my Educators Credit Union.
-
February 14, 2019 at 11:12 am #4269628Jessiej
Another heads up! Lol
Called my children’s school to request the info that the state is requesting and she said she’s had to do a bunch of these already!! We’re in a pretty small school so that’s saying allot of people are getting review letters! -
February 14, 2019 at 9:48 am #4269533Me
Same thing that was told to me @Sammy. Mine was also accepted 1/28
-
February 14, 2019 at 9:08 am #4269464Sammy
Called yesterday, they said return is still processing and they don’t show any letter being mailed to me. “It’s just taking awhile” she said.
Accepted on 1/28, 8-12 week message, Monday will be 3 weeks. ugh!
-
February 14, 2019 at 9:05 am #4269461Georgia
@Ian – are you checking it on a desktop computer or laptop? The reason I ask is that I’ve never heard the return being completed and no dd date. My friend looked on it with her smart phone and I don’t know what phone she has but it did appear like it was completed since the words were so close together, but when she looked on it with her laptop it was clear that it was not completed. I do believe that once your return is marked as completed then a dd date would be there.
Another thing I’m thinking is maybe the return is completed but they are sending you a letter and that’s why you don’t have a dd date? Just a thought. Hoping it’s not that.
-
February 14, 2019 at 8:55 am #4269446Aldriana
Still nothing…😩

Mine says “return completed” but no ddd. It was accepted the 28th. Anyone else have this?
-
February 14, 2019 at 7:00 am #4269278Georgia
Still nothing for me.
-
February 14, 2019 at 3:50 am #4269198
Accepted the 28th still nothing. Very easy return barely getting a refund. Another reason I hate this state it’ just can’t do anything right!!! If I get a letter I’m not doing all that crap they can keep the 300. Ugh!!
-
February 14, 2019 at 12:39 am #4269100Jessiej
@georgia
Original certified birth certificates
Copies of ss cards
Statement from clinic or school covering entire year for each child

Or if you own your home all property tax info
Fill out additional paper they send you

-
February 13, 2019 at 3:43 pm #4268598Georgia
@Danielle1526 It just depends. My friend received hers on the date that they gave her and some people on this forum have received it 1-3 days earlier. I don’t know why, but that’s what I’ve been seeing.
-
February 13, 2019 at 3:29 pm #4268580
I filed on February 1 and updated this morning to DDD of 2/21/2019. I have always received my DD early. How many days early does Wisconsin Deposit?
-
February 13, 2019 at 12:41 pm #4268313Rebecca
Filed and accepted the 28. No movement until yesterday, now completed with direct deposit date on or before 02/17. Hoping that means Friday as the 17th is Sunday and the 18th is Presidents Day (no mail or banking).
Took a little longer than in previous years but 20 days is really a good turnaround! (Imo)

February 13, 2019 at 12:20 pm #4268290Aj
Last year I got my letter from the neighbor a few houses down. Hated that mailman.
-
February 13, 2019 at 10:04 am #4268142Georgia
Just found out from a friend (that filed 6 days after me) that she called this morning and was told that a letter was mailed out to her about fraud and asking her to confirm her identify. So I’m hoping that since the lady told me no letters have been mailed to me that I get a DDD soon.
-
February 13, 2019 at 9:55 am #4268128Me
When I called that exactly what they told me too, that it was still processing and that everything looked fine and that it wasn’t showing any letters has been sent….. I agree I wish the site didn’t give such a generic response.
-
February 13, 2019 at 9:48 am #4268118Georgia
8:34 am – Just called the Wisconsin Department of Revenue main number. A woman answered and I started off by apologizing for the call and just said with the recent snow storm, my mailbox was knocked down and I was afraid that if the DOR sent me a letter, that I didn’t receive it. This is true about the mailbox (she doesn’t have to know it was only down for 1 day and I have informed delivery and nothing showed from WI DOR, lol) so again – I’m sorry for the call as I’m sure you’re being flooded with calls at this time, etc. Her tone of HELLO when she first answered the phone was not rude but like ugh here’s another call. I can only assume it’s tiring answering calls especially since the WHERE’S MY REFUND site says that it’s the same information that an agent would provide. After I apologized and told her about the mailbox she was overly nice and empathized with me worrying about a possible letter. She took her time and asked my ss #, name and address and then said that everything looked good on her end and no letters have been sent to me at all and some refunds are just taking longer for the system to process. She apologized and that was it.
So again good news but I have heard of a few people calling and they say no letter and then all of a sudden they receive a letter so we’ll see. I think the WHERE’S MY REFUND site is great, but I think if they could update it with “At this time, no letter has been sent to you” or “A letter has been sent to you regarding _______” This way we would at least know if a letter was generated from us.
Good luck to all of us waiting for our refund. It can and has been frustrating especially when people that filed after us have received their refunds already. I don’t depend on the money BUT it would be very helpful right now as I’m going through some things. Also, wanted to say that I’ve enjoyed reading the posts on this site – it is a great forum. I’ll post more if I hear anything else.

@JessieJ – Thank you for the info. Just curious, what are they asking for in their letter?
-
February 13, 2019 at 8:50 am #4267873JessieJ
Just a heads up, if you are still waiting on a DDD and filed awhile ago, you may want to call and see what the hold up is. Last year I didn’t call and just waited, I FINALLY got my review letter towards the middle of March and had no time to do what was needed.
This year I called and even tho they said I had no letter coming, they couldn’t see ANYTHING wrong, I got the review letter 2 days later. Generated the day BEFORE I called. Now I have ample time to get together the necessary documents I need to send in. -
February 13, 2019 at 8:50 am #4267740Christy
I filed on 2/2 due to HR Block’s issues. I received a request in the mail on 2/9 for copies of my w-2, 1099-r, and my gambling winnings document. Sent them electronically 2/10. As of 1 hour ago(2/13) I now have a DDD of 2/21.

Ugh no update here!! C’mon there is no way my return is that complicated!! ALSO, I’d like a reason people who filed way after me are getting dates. This is getting ridiculous!!
-
February 13, 2019 at 7:29 am #4267903Me

February 12, 2019 at 10:07 pm #4267558Ashley i
So, I still have no DDD for my WI State or Federal. I filed the 11th, got accepted the 14th for federal and Accepted the 28th for State. I called last week to see if any letters were issued and was told no, the man said I have a pretty standard return and just to hold tight. Well, here we are and NOTHING. Generic 8-12 week message and Path Act message. It’s never taken so long to get my State ever. I feel everyone’s frustration.
-
February 12, 2019 at 8:42 pm #4267467Ruby
@Orlando it seems like most people are getting their deposit a day earlier or more. Congrats on getting a dd date. Praying for mine.
-
February 12, 2019 at 5:31 pm #4267270Orlando Barreto
I have a DDD of 2/16 which is saturday i believe. ( no direct deposit on weekends) Does that mean ill get it before that or i will have to wait till next tiesday since monday is a holiday
-
February 12, 2019 at 5:07 pm #4267233Georgia
Accepted 1/28, still have 8-12 weeks. I called and basically they could tell me nothing that it’s still processing. I was on hold for a LOOOONG time so save your time and don’t call. They will not tell you anything other than what shows on the WHERE’S MY REFUND website.
-
February 12, 2019 at 4:21 pm #4267160
This is crazy my daughter filed and accepted on 2/7 got her deposit already
-
February 12, 2019 at 3:45 pm #4267130Me
Same exact scenario for me @Amanda! It’s frustrating! No letters or anything seriously ridiculous seeing people who filed after me already have their money or have a DDD.
-
February 12, 2019 at 3:30 pm #4267102Amanda Erpenbach
Filed 1/19. accepted 1/28. 8-12 week message called again today and was told no letters have been sent. Just processing… Then he said maybe it’s because I have EIC?!? C’MON I need this now
-
February 12, 2019 at 3:20 pm #4267091MrsW
Now on day 14 since acceptance, still on 8-12 weeks. This is getting old. Seriously sucks that people that filed a week after me are getting DDD. What number can I call to find out more info?
-
February 12, 2019 at 2:00 pm #4266948Lolz
Just outrageous that they haven’t given a DDD in 2 weeks when they tell you to wait 8-12
-
February 12, 2019 at 12:57 pm #4266473Sab
Update: filed 2/2 excepted couple hours later Then couple days 2/4 I had proscessing 8/12 weeks at the bottom it said I had to send income verification and rent certificate which was on 4th. Finally that info has been removed this morning and my status is back to 8/12 weeks . They must have received my documents and hopefully I get a DDD soon.
-
February 12, 2019 at 10:27 am #4266636Aj
My state finally updated last night filed 1/31. Had to wait for part year resident form cuz i moved to colorado last may. Accepted 2/1 and says dd by 2/17. Federal hasn’t been processed yet.
-
February 12, 2019 at 8:10 am #4266412Me
I agree something isn’t right! I just called and opted one of the options for tax refunds and directed me to someone who was not helpful 🙄
-
February 12, 2019 at 8:08 am #4266406Ruby
For those of you that called and spoke to someone what number did you call?
-
February 12, 2019 at 8:07 am #4266400Ruby
@me I’m in the same boat. It was accepted on 1/28 and I’ve been on the 8-12 week message forever. I haven’t received any letters from the state. So very frustrating. Seems like those that filed during that winter storm are getting screwed!
-
February 12, 2019 at 7:47 am #4266353Me
I filed on 1/22 state was accepted on 1/28 the day tax season opened and I’m still getting the 8-12 week message I called last week and she said it was just still processing also no letters either so I don’t know what’s going on but seriously ridiculous
-
February 12, 2019 at 7:34 am #4266334Me
Still nothing for me 😡
-
February 12, 2019 at 7:16 am #4266313Kim
Filed and accepted on the 4th of February. Received the direct deposit confirmation for the 17th of February.
-
February 12, 2019 at 6:48 am #4266281Ca
I filed and was accepted 1/30. I finally woke up to a direct deposit by 2/17. I did call yesterday and asked them what was going on because I always received my state within 10 days. She said everything looked good and it was still processing. So idk if calling made a difference but I finally got movement overnight.
-

@aawaiting when I look at my moms this is what it says: Your return has been processed and your refund should be direct deposited into the account provided on your tax return by 02/07/2019.
-
February 11, 2019 at 10:27 pm #4266049
Does the wisconsin wmr only update over night?
-
February 11, 2019 at 9:49 pm #4266012Georgia
I don’t get it. Isn’t the DDD the direct deposit date? It tells you when you input your social and amount of your refund. In my case I have the 8-12 week message so there is no DDD yet. 😭
-
February 11, 2019 at 9:11 pm #4265968aawaiting
Where are you finding the state DDD? I want to clarify I am looking at the right thing.
-
February 11, 2019 at 9:05 pm #4265961aawaiting
@Ness Maybe I’m looking at the wrong DDD? Where exactly is that located?
-
February 11, 2019 at 8:57 pm #4265955Ness
@aawaiting my bf has the same card he was suppose to get his the 13th and it is on his turbotax card as of this morning..

@Kathe – You should be fine with federal.
-
February 11, 2019 at 2:22 pm #4265543Kathe Handlin
@Georgia I mean will my federal get reviewed. Not my state my state has got reviewed every year for the last 5 years for some reason
-
February 11, 2019 at 1:48 pm #4265482Georgia
@Kathe – No, it does not mean that you won’t get reviewed. My friend who is a single father had received his federal refund last year and then he was still waiting on his state and then he received a letter from Wisconsin asking for copies of the birth certificates, proof they were enrolled in school, a statement from his landlord – it was honestly ridiculous what the State of Wisconsin was asking for.
-
February 11, 2019 at 1:04 pm #4265421Kathe Handlin
Does anyone know for fed with Eic if you have the path act message does that mean you wont get reviewed also filed and accepted 2/1 and still have 8 to 12 week message filed with turbo tax direct deposit
-
February 11, 2019 at 12:53 pm #4265395Jessiej

Still no update for me. I filed 1/22 with turbo tax. Federal accepted right away but not processing until mid February due to child credit, state was accepted 1/28 and still showing the 8-12 week message with no letter from wi department of Revenue 😡 so annoyed!!!
-
February 10, 2019 at 7:32 am #4264377Karen
It is beyond frustrating that people who filed a week after me have a ddd already.
-
February 10, 2019 at 5:08 am #4264355Jill
I used turbo tax. I have EIC and child tax credits. I filed both state and federal on February 6, 2019. Federal was accepted right away state took about 12 hours. My federal now says it’s pending till mid February because of the EIC and child tax credits. My state has a DDD of 2/15/19.
-
February 9, 2019 at 2:25 pm #4264011Nina
Does anyone know if the update on the weekend. Seems like some people on this forum received updates at midnight which technically was Saturday. Ugh! I was accepted 1/28 and still no DD date. 😭😭😭🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

Just checked my informed delivery and I have a letter from WI department of Revenue. This sucks. My return has been the same for 4 years. We have such a short return. Hopefully this is a short process…
Filed 1/28, still on 8-12 week message.

DDD for 01/15 finally! I hope anyone else out there that doesn’t have it yet soon will! 😄
-
February 8, 2019 at 12:38 am #4262413Mrs. G
I filed 1/28 accepted the same day. I checked my refund status said 8-12 weeks. Recieved a letter 2/6 stating my earned income credit is under review. I’ve had the same info for the last 7 years , 3 dependents. I had to turn in my w2 , birth certificates, social security cards, school verification for my children ,also my last 4 check stubs and information from my landlord. I turned in all requested information in person, and was told up to 12 weeks to complete my review.
-
February 8, 2019 at 12:09 am #4262407
I filed 2/1; I cannot remember when WI accepted it. However, I checked the “Where’s my Refund” for the state on the 5th, and my refund was approved and being sent to my account. I haven’t checked my account yet, but it’s supposed to be no later than the 10th.
I filed online with TurboTax and have the EIC (also the child tax credit/ACTC).
I’ve honestly never had a state refund move so fast. Previous states I lived in took their sweet time.
-
February 7, 2019 at 11:01 pm #4262377Me(theOG)
Did anyoneelse get a DDD for 2/12?

February 7, 2019 at 7:33 pm #4262283Cindy x
For everyone asking about eic and actc. I have both mine were filed 2/1 and i got a ddd of the 13tj. The path doed not apply to state. Maybe some of yours are taking longer time to review. Call to the hotline they will tell you whats going on. My fingers crossed for all.
-
February 7, 2019 at 7:27 pm #4262274Angue

Filed 1/31 through wi dor website, accepted same day. Been on 8-12 week message since 2/1, no DDD. Getting so frustrated. People I know who filed after me either have DDD or received theirs already.
-
February 7, 2019 at 5:05 pm #4262195Ruby
@Mike – I understand people may keep asking the same question, but not everyone that has the 8-12 orange bar resolves in a day or two. I have had the bar for 7 days now and from reading other people on this forum, they have had it longer than 1-2 days so I think that’s where the concern is. I would be extremely happy if I only had the orange bar for that short of a time period. Like I said, tomorrow will be day 8 so it’s a little frustrating to say the least.
-
February 7, 2019 at 4:56 pm #4262182
People keep asking the same question over and over, the tracker will say 8 to 12 weeks in the orange bar and normally within a day or two it will show a direct deposit date. Some have had it deposited sooner than the given date, some have received it after the date and may depend on your bank or credit union accepting the return.
I filed my federal and state with HR Block for free online, have used TurboTax for the last 3 years after seeing my total cost before submitting I checked HR and was free and came to the exact same refund amount. HR did have a system issue not being to submit Wisconsin refunds on the states opening efile date. Federal went in quick, took 3 days to submit my state but waiting 3 days was a better option than spending nearly 100 for the same service elsewhere.
I REPEAT DONT WORRY OVER THE 8 TO 12 IT WILL BE MUCH FASTER AND WILL UPDATE ONLINE FOR YOU IN A DAY OR TWO.
-
February 7, 2019 at 4:02 pm #4262128Me
@Randy, that is the same for me. I filed with turbo tax on the 1/22. Wi state was accepted 1/28 and still getting the 8-12 week message, so frustrating!
-
February 7, 2019 at 3:59 pm #4262126Sable
Filed 2/3 accepted same day.. processing by Monday 2/4 and under all the orange bars it asked for verification of income and rent certificate for homestead .. sent that through the wr-a link. Now just waiting. Patiently waiting too for update !! This happen to me last year .. I been wrking the same job for 8 1/2 years and nothing has changed and been living in the same apartment for 7 years ..
-
February 7, 2019 at 3:42 pm #4262106Randy
Any turbo tax users get their Wisconsin refund back? I filed on the 19th of January… Accepted the first day possible on 1/28 and still says 8-12 weeks.

-
February 7, 2019 at 11:49 am #4261799Moe
Those of You that got DDD, did you end up getting you return before the date. I got a ddd of 2-13 but I think last year I got a couple days prior to that.
-
February 7, 2019 at 11:04 am #4261705MikeJones
Had a ddd of 2/9
Deposited this morning on 2/7.
It works.

February 7, 2019 at 10:12 am #4261593Georgia
I’m in the same situation. Filed on 1/28 using TaxAct (didn’t use the free version – paid the extra) and it was accepted on 1/29 and I still have the 8-12 weeks message. I have 3 dependents which is the same as previous years. It is quite frustrating.
-
February 7, 2019 at 9:30 am #4261473Me
I filed on 1/22, got the text that federal was accepted right away, then on 1/28 got the text that state was accepted, still showing processing 8-12 weeks message, filed with turbo tax, very frustrating!
-
February 7, 2019 at 8:28 am #4261321Jh
Is the where’s my refund page only updated in the morning or are there updates throughout the day?
-
February 7, 2019 at 7:49 am #4261255Me
Been waiting since the 28th. Finally this morning got the approved message…. date of 2/12. My sister woke up to her refund in her account and still on processing 8 to 12 weeks!!! There is hope giys
-
February 7, 2019 at 6:58 am #4261186Beckie
I give up too! 5:57 am and still have the 8-12 week message! I want to scream! Filed on the 29th and accepted on the 30th.
-
February 6, 2019 at 9:56 pm #4260851
I’m ready to give up and let it surprise me. I was accepted on the 28th. Still no ddd. I’ll get it in November lol.
-
February 6, 2019 at 9:45 pm #4260839Kim
In a previous posting I complained about HR Block not being able to efile with WI on the 28th. So I kept trying and finally got HRBlock to go through Saturday morning, 2/2. Got an update this morning that a portion will be intercepted and the remaining dd on 2/11. Phew! I take back those nasty things I said about HRBlock…..kind of!

-
February 6, 2019 at 2:02 pm #4260348CIndy X
I was accepted on the 30th. Had the generic message of 8 to 10 weeks. Just updated this morning to DDD of the 13th. I know it sucks waiting but it is coming. I hope everyone gets theirs soon.
-
February 6, 2019 at 1:35 pm #4260319Katie
I filed the same day as a couple of my coworkers. We all used Tax Act and filed on the 28th. We were all accepted on the 29th and one coworker has her money already, the other one just got a dd date yesterday and I’m still waiting on a dd date. I still have the generic 8-12 week message so I’m getting frustrated. I guess what’s frustrating is that even if they were closed, they should process people in the order in which they were received. I’m seeing people that filed in February and they already have a dd date. It’s frustrating.
-
February 6, 2019 at 1:28 pm #4260301Jennifer Patton
To people that filed and already have DD date. Did you file with a tax professional or on your own?
-
February 6, 2019 at 1:22 pm #4260289Heather
I filed 2/4/19 and as of today, 2/6/19 received direct deposit date of 2/13/19. WOAH that was fast! Let’s see what day they actually deposit on?
-
February 6, 2019 at 1:21 pm #4260284Me
Even if they did close which I’m pretty sure they did. Why are people who were accepted after the 28th getting their dates??? And not the people who were accepted on the 28th??
-
February 6, 2019 at 11:13 am #4260039Michael
They were closed the 28th, open on the 29th and then closed on the 30th & 31st all due to weather.
-
February 6, 2019 at 11:02 am #4260016Lynnette Smith
Wi Irs was not closed the 29th-31st. I filed on 1/28, accepted 1/29, ddd date given on 1/31.
-
February 6, 2019 at 10:37 am #4259971Judy
I understand the WI IRS was closed the 29th – 31st, but I still think that they should give refunds in the order in which people file. But who am I? Just a gal wanting her refund. :)
-
February 6, 2019 at 10:22 am #4259944Cece
It’s kind of frustrating, WI has always been really quick for me but not this year. Mostly just need go breathe and remember it will come when it comes 😂. But I still wake up every morning disappointed.
-
February 6, 2019 at 10:01 am #4259906Kallie
Hello people around January 29-31 2019 the WI IRS was closed some days in due to weather so their office might have a delay in sending out refunds.
-
February 6, 2019 at 9:56 am #4259886Judy
@Amanda – I so agree with you. Accepted on 1/29 and I still have the 8-12 week message. :(

Yes Candice I had the video underneath the message – but, I still got my return in less than a week.

Those of you that have the processing 8-13 weeks message, do you have the video underneath saying why had my refund been delayed also? Or is that just me??
-
February 6, 2019 at 3:27 am #4259461Cindy
Wisconsin processing yesterday checked this morning and said complete and a ddd by the 13th finally thank god.

February 5, 2019 at 9:31 pm #4259275Mandy
Filed & supposedly accepted 1/29. WI showed accepted halfway through 1/30. 2/1 early morning it updated to ddd of 2/8, which is about how quick it processed last year for me. As of right now its pending in my bank and will deposit when my bank opens.
Fed was only 1 day behind on processing for me as well, updated to PATH 2/2. I have the EIC so waiting for 15th for ddd for that.
-
February 5, 2019 at 8:08 pm #4259189Jennifer Patton
@ruby, I filed on January 19th, was accepted on the 28th. Just wanted to give everyone a little hope that at least it may come soon. The woman I talked too told me no letters had been sent to me and usually if they are reviewing you or checking identity, they will send you a letter. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and all the rest of us.

February 5, 2019 at 5:38 pm #4259026Candice
We filed on Jan 26th, accepted on Jan 28th and we are still waiting for ddd. Hoping we aren’t getting reviewed but staying positive and hopeful! They will start coming in for us guys!! Hang in there :)
-
February 5, 2019 at 1:17 pm #4258600
Last year I was accepted on January 29 and I didn’t get my state refund until March 15. I never received any letters and nothing was adjusted on my return. It was just a slow process. I do not think that the state processes returns over the weekend, but I am not positive on that. This year, I filed on February 1 and I am still at the 8-12 weeks stage.
-
February 5, 2019 at 1:04 pm #4258564Ash C
We had the same issue last year 😑 Filed early and people who filed after us got theirs before us. We didn’t end up getting our refund until March 5th. This year so far isn’t looking any better. Still has the 8-12 weeks message, but it’s still early in the game so hoping that is why
-
February 5, 2019 at 12:26 pm #4258505Judy
Does anyone know when the Wisconsin “Where’s My Refund” site updates? Is it throughout the day or just once per day? I feel like I’m checking every hour in hopes that I get off the 8-12 weeks. I want my deposit date already! Nothing changes from year to year, never had a problem. I was accepted on 1/29 and still show the 8-12 weeks. Frustrating!
-
February 5, 2019 at 11:20 am #4258425Ruby
@Jennifer – I’m in the same circumstance. I filed on the 25th of January and then it was accepted on the 28th of January and I have the 8-12 weeks. I’m frustrated. I wanted to call them but I don’t see a number. So I was just curious when did you file and when were you accepted? Last year I received my dd on the 10th and had that same message. Could really use this money right now…ugh!
-
February 5, 2019 at 10:05 am #4258319Jennifer Patton
I still have the 8-12 weeks. Called and they said there is nothing showing I have any letters sent out or that I am under any review. Just still waiting.
-
February 5, 2019 at 9:47 am #4258278Trish0512
Filed on the 29th, accepted on the 30th and DDD was set for the 8th. It is pending in my account now and will be available tomorrow.
-
February 5, 2019 at 6:20 am #4257995JessieJ
Called and spoke with a gentleman from WI revenue. He confirmed exactly what I thought. I am (once again) being “pulled for review”
He is sending the letter with the absolute RIDICULOUS list of stuff I need to send in to get my refund. Last year I filed Jan. 21st and didn’t get the letter for at least 6-8 weeks then had a super short amount of time to send everything in. I’m talking original, certified birth certificates, hospital records, school records, lease, among about 15 other things they required.
SUCH A JOKE. I have NEVER had any issues with federal or state EVER, for WI to do this AGAIN is absolutely asinine. They know a lot of people will not be able do it at all or on time and end up just forfeiting their money which I’m SURE they are counting on.
We are moving out of this nasty ass state this year and I CANNOT wait!!
I have the standard 8-12 week message, so if you do too, beware. -
February 5, 2019 at 5:56 am #4257985Lynnette Smith
I filed homestead and got my money this morning. You have to attach or send in your signed rent certificate with w-ra form. Ask taxact what to do.
-
February 4, 2019 at 11:38 pm #4257869Leanne
Did everyone that filed Homestead credit get this generic message or is there something else I need to do?? I filed with taxact
We have no record of receiving your Homestead Credit supporting documents for your electronically filed return. If you have provided this information, allow four weeks for review of your documents. If you have not provided these documents, mail them to the address on the W-RA form or electronically scan and submit the following

February 4, 2019 at 12:39 pm #4257300Carla
I filed with TaxAct and was accepted on 29th. I showed the standard received and processing message 8-12 weeks. I now have a message stating complete and DD should be received by February 8th and to check with my bank.
My W2 was able to be automatically loaded into TaxAct as well as my previous years info an State Refund verification.
I was also able to verify my AGI from 2017 when filing.
On a Side note my Federal was accepted Jan 28 and I am getting the message about cannot refund before middle of month due to me claiming the EIC. Should have federal by End of February.
Hope this helps!

I filed on 1/24/2019 no ddd for state ,1 bar fed. Wisconsin updated to 8-12 week message. this is my 3rd year filing and last year I had to call the state officials to get them to release my cash… Why do I keep getting flagged?????????????????? im over it.
-
February 4, 2019 at 9:58 am #4257124Ashley i
I filed WI taxes on the 14th of January. (Early) my State was excepted on opening day and federal two days after filing. I am getting the generic 8-12 weeks message for my state refund. No return date. My coworker filed a few days ago and she has a date for her federal and State. Ugh… am I being audited or what? My federal has no bars either just a code saying they can’t release funds until mid-late Feb. Why would my state take so long? I heard they are using early filers to run fraud checks and make sure the system is properly catching everything…..just sucks.
-
February 4, 2019 at 8:36 am #4257023Nan
This may seem strange. I had my taxes done through h&r block on February 1st. Both my federal and Wisconsin taxes have been accepted on the 2nd on each website.. From what I can see from prior responses. They must be accepting the refunds that were done professionally first, as opposed to those that filed on their own. Or they are accepting those that filed after 28th of January first? Those are the only things I can think of.
-
February 4, 2019 at 7:30 am #4256978JessieJ
I get the EIC and get audited by WI EVERY YEAR. It’s beyond crazy what they ask for! I have my same kids, same job, same address….UGH. I am already expecting it, I have no doubt it’ll happen again this year.
-
February 4, 2019 at 5:59 am #4256938Lynnette Smith
Karen Lee – they dont actually say “accepted”. If your orange bar is over to the “return processing” mark then it has been accepted and they are working on it.
Wisconsin efile opened on the 28th. I think that turbotax had some issues with Wisconsin and didn’t start transmitting until the 31st.
Everyone who is nervous shouldn’t be because everybody gets the 8-12 week generic message and could get approved the next day. Wisconsin has always been a state that processes returns quickly and I have never had to wait more than a couple weeks.
-
February 4, 2019 at 12:17 am #4256890Karen Lee

People who are getting the DDD for Wisconsin may be the lucky ones that their employer electronically sends the W2 information to the state. My employer forgot to mail W2 information last year and it delayed by state return. Be patient, the DDD will hopefully come soon for all of us. :)

Hey, just a heads up if you used h&r block online: apparently they are having an issue and won’t even begin to file WI state returns until 2/5. I foolishly used them for the first time this year for my state return. I just cancelled it and went ahead and filed it directly through the state website. Hoping to get a quick refund.

The site/app are working today. Mine says
We have received your tax return and it is being processed.
If filed electronically, most refunds are issued in less than three weeks.
Filing a paper return could delay your refund. Our strong fraud and error safeguards could delay some returns up to 12 weeks. -

I efiled yesterday morning and today it says it is processing and in 6-8 weeks it will be done. What does yours say?

Any issues with H & R Block saying WI DOR has not given them confirmation as of yet to accept WI returns? Just got off the live chat w/ HRBlock and they say I should wait 48 hours to return to my account to e-file my WI return, EVEN THOUGH, WI DOR site says they are accepting e-filed returns as of today. Not cool HRB, not cool!!!!!

I got the same thing on Friday to allow 10 days to receive. Do you think it will still be after the 10th of June before they start issuing?
-

Mr.S,
I got the same thing on Friday afternoon. Now I guess it’s just a waiting game. I have end of school year field trips and a graduation to pay for, that money will definitely help out right now!
-
May 18, 2018 at 11:55 am #4246888Mr S.
Shelli, actually it will be sooner if you’ve already submitted the claim. Checking my status today returns the result:
“Approved
We have received your rebate claim and processed it. Allow up to 10 days to receive your rebate.” -
May 17, 2018 at 10:00 am #4246856Shelli
Child tax credit: initially I had heard that it would be DD the beginning of August. Now I’m hearing DD may happen as soon as the week of June 10. Anybody know for sure? We claimed ours on 5/15, and it is currently pending.

Hello; If the 123 site for Wisconsin State refund status says that my refund will be deposited by 4/19/2018, does that mean on the 19th? What days of the week are refunds deposited?

@tree6’8” I thought FOR SURE I was about to get audited as a few here state they did. My best guess was if that was gonna happen you would have received something in the mail by now. It’s just taking a tremendously long time.

March 27, 2018 at 6:08 am #4242531Molly Bruner
I was asked for a long list of proof about my kids also. Certified birth certificates, drs records, a notarized letter from my landlord… Ridiculous. I filed February 4th. Got accepted around February 15th. Got a letter 2 weeks after that asking for all that other info. I sent it off right away. 2 weeks ago they sent the birth certificates back, but I still have no refund and no other information. So frustrating.
-
March 26, 2018 at 10:03 am #4242379Divadetroit
I am waiting to hear back from Wis DOR. I filed in 2017 and they said I wasn’t here long enough and cut my refund from $800 to $134. this year I filed and they asked for Dr Records to prove I have my kids with me. well I don’t have that because we went to the dr before I moved them to Wisconsin .I called and they told me I have no letters pending, then a week later BOOM! a letter!!!!!!! I have my lease and papers from Food share for the children. I sent in what I have. They said I didn’t include 2 w2’s from 2 other jobs. but because I moved I couldn’t get them. I told them I have filed with h and r block for 21 years and I have all 21 filings. they said no… So I still haven’t heard anything I filed 1/22/2018 they sent a letter 3/1/2018. its 3/26/2018 still nothing. I called and they told me what the stooped system said online. Im so irritated with this…
-
March 24, 2018 at 2:16 pm #4242181Jwojo
Here we are almost 7 weeks out and still nothing. I called at week 4 and they said there were no letters. Still nothing in the mail. But how is it possible that I’m not under review or audit if it’s taking this long. It would be nice if the department of revenue actually updated instead of making you wait forever to hear anything.
-
March 20, 2018 at 6:01 pm #4241293Kathe Handlin
@jessie I called today I’m at 6 weeks since getting accepted and was told a letter went out Friday. So annoying that they took this long. I feel your frustration

-
March 15, 2018 at 6:40 pm #4240109Jessie J Larson
Well I filed 1/31 and just today got my letter of review. The amount of stuff they want Is just absolutely ridiculous. School records, birth certificates, letter from the clinics, a list of over 10 different things to send in. I owed the state last year and they sure garnished my check for the 113.00 I owed. Now they owe me 20 times that and I have to pull rabbits outta my hat.

Still nothing. Filed and accepted 1/31. I am so over this!!
-
March 10, 2018 at 11:39 am #4238467
@ JJ: I think Wisconsin updates at midnight and I am not sure if they update over the weekend as the Department of Revenue is closed. Hang in there. I filed on the 29th and just got approved on Friday. Hopefully next week will be your week!! :)
I looks like a bunch of people who filed prior to the 31st were just recently processed. This may have to do with your employer submitting your wage information to them. They have to submit the wage information by the 31st of January. So if they were late or only submitted on the 31st, your return may have been just pushed back until they verify wages. If you haven’t received any letters, it is coming, just coming slower than usual.
-
March 10, 2018 at 1:20 am #4238337JJ
Do you know what time you guys updated?? Filed and accepted on 1/31 and still on 8-12 weeks. I was really hoping tonight I would update at midnight! Do they update sporadically?

@danielle1526 – Filed electronically through TT – Was accepted 1/29 and still have the 8-12wk message. Was also told the same thing.. That is still being processed. Never received anything that would indicate any problems ect. I wonder if it has anything to do with EIC or Child tax credit.
-
March 8, 2018 at 7:04 am #4237243James
Filed three sets of taxes on 1/29. All fed recd by 2/14. one state got on 2/6. Notification this morning getting one on 3/15. One more to go. I hate this process. I called and just says processing. Have received no paperwork. Normally get state within a week of filing.

Filed: 2/4
Accepted: 2/5Fiancé filed 15 minutes before I did with TT and she received hers within 2 weeks (before Fed).
This is pure BS! 8-12 week message like most. I don’t necessarily “need” the money, it’s the principle. At this point I wouldn’t have a problem waiting if the status was clearly communicated.
I understand they’re utilizing a 3rd party to audit returns; something has to be going wrong. This sounds oddly familiar, similar to how employers hire 3rd party auditors for benefits – “Hey we can save you X millions of dollars in fraud with no impact to the tax payer, just pay us X millions of dollars.” – total lies. I work in IT and I get the ID theft part but someone’s head needs to roll for this SNAFU.

Well, I’m going on 5 weeks now and I REALLY need my money!! This has been ridiculous! I have never waited so long on ANY state! Called and talked to a lady who said basically anyone and everyone with EIC and/or Homestead would be automatically audited but had no letters for me at all…just a waiting game at this point! I know SO many people tho that have the credits and received theirs a week or two later after filing. SO FRUSTRATED!

-
February 24, 2018 at 8:56 am #4230753Angela
Hit my three week mark and still says 8-12 weeks. No delays as stated by DOR. Hoping the feed update is behind and I’ll get an update next week. And to Grant on your previous post regarding your take on taxes. Yes, we can have less taxes taken out and take home more right away but, that does not however have any effect on the refund we get for tax credits such as school taxes, marriage taxes homestead taxes etc. We are owed that money and it is not unreasonable to want that money within a reasonable time after taxes are filed.
-
February 23, 2018 at 6:47 am #4229956Stephanie
Filed at H&R on 1/24. Both WI state and federal have been accepted. WI still saying 8-12 weeks.

February 22, 2018 at 3:51 pm #4229634Grant
As an accountant – instead of waiting for a refund, adjust your withholding tax so there is not waiting you get it in your payroll check.
Except for very low-wage earners, there is sometimes a misconception that a refund is money the gov’t is giving you, it is not.
Say you go to the grocery store and spend $8 and you give them $10 – would you want to wait until you file your taxes the next year to get that $2 back and then would you be excited that you were getting that $2 back? No, of course not because it’s your money. That’s all a refund is 99% of the time, you paid too much out of your paycheck and are getting your change back. If you are checking for a refund daily you need the money don’t wait for it, change your W-4 with your employer.
just my 2 cents

Glad to see some movement for the people who were accepted the 29th and earlier. Still no update for me. This is the first year that I will have my federal return back before my state. :( I am not even going to check anymore. That way it will be a huge surprise when it gets deposited into my bank.

HMM. It definitely is frustrating. Such a waiting game! We have always went through H&R and never a problem till this year as well :( Let’s hope for an update soon!
-
February 13, 2018 at 1:19 pm #4215599manateej
@Ash17 I filed directly on the Wisconsin DOR site. I’ve been doing that the past nine years. Never had a delay until now.

@dustin smith, if they acknowledge that your paperwork is received it means you have been accepted. I’m still stuck on the 8-12 week message and I’m about to tap. Lol
-
February 12, 2018 at 6:16 pm #4214667
I see a lot of people saying there return has been accepted. Mine just says “We have received your tax return and it is being processed.” I am assuming this has not been accepted. I just keep waiting for something besides 8-12 weeks. We filed on 2/2

February 12, 2018 at 9:33 am #4213908Ash17
I did speak with a lady this morning on the phone at the DOR. She said to give it another week and if we haven’t heard anything to give them a call back. She said she can’t give a guaranteed date but most will be issued in 3 weeks or less. We are going on 2 and a half weeks so here’s hoping we see a change by the end of the week. She said typically there system updates the status nightly after they’ve ran their reports, so for those asking how often they update…it sounds like once a day
-
February 12, 2018 at 8:49 am #4213850Ash17

-
February 11, 2018 at 9:46 pm #4213553Veness
ID verified on the 29th and I am still on the 8 to 12 weeks. A friend of mine got the ID verify thing same day she got hers the 2nd. One of my daughters received her state n no time second daughter is like me we just waiting.. i called and they keep say aint nothing wrong just slowly processing.
-
February 11, 2018 at 11:02 am #4213263
Does the state update over the weekend?
-
February 10, 2018 at 8:06 pm #4213009Terry
Accepted 1/30 and still no change. Last year it was nine days from acceptance to direct deposit. This is ridiculous. Each year seems they find reasons to hold our money. Maybe we should hold their taxes. LOL
-
February 10, 2018 at 11:10 am #4212584Hurricanheather
Mine was filed on 1/27 and accepted on 1/29 still on the 8-12weeks processing!
-
February 10, 2018 at 9:47 am #4212438Ash17
This year is so crazy! We filed on 1-27 and it was accepted on 1-30. Still says it’s being processed and when I called last week she said there was no flags or anything to be holding it up. She said it’s pretty much luck of the draw on who gets theirs first. So annoying cause everyone around me (friends and family) who filed after have already got their refunds or a DDD
-
February 10, 2018 at 9:17 am #4212391manateej
Still no update.

-
February 10, 2018 at 8:05 am #4212280Fozzybear
@ danielle1526, I’m in the same boat. I know my employer didn’t get the files transferred to the state until 2/8. I’m not expecting my WI refund until after my federal. It sucks.
-
February 10, 2018 at 7:44 am #4212252
Still nothing…. Same 8-12 processing message. My only guess is that They started processing my information on the 29th which was prior to my employer sending W2 information on the 31st. Therefore, it put it on hold and my return is just waiting to be looked at again to verify the information matched. Next year I am going to file my state after the 31st.
-
February 10, 2018 at 6:04 am #4212194Jennifer

February 9, 2018 at 10:09 pm #4211954Angela
Hey all. I see some post talk about the 8-12 week msg. I have a msg that says “we are reviewing the information on your return please allow up to 12 weeks….”
Is this the same msg some of you are speaking of ? I think I remember last year vaguely getting same msg but ended up getting refund within 2 weeks. Anyway, filed electronically on Feb 4th,accepted Feb 6th no kids no special credits. Btw,I’m in Wisconsin. -

Filed and accepted 2/2 woke up to a ddd of 2/14 on 2/7 . As of today republic bank had already issued it out to my bank. It looks as if I may receive it before 2/14. A total of 5 days, impressive and the fastest I have ever gotten a ddd. Good luck everyone!!!
-
February 9, 2018 at 3:35 pm #4211540Zuby7
I just called. They don’t see anything that would cause issues with my return, and I’m getting close to the deadline for seeing some movements, so if I don’t see anything I can call back. He did give a laugh when I asked if they were processing slow because I usually have mine by now and he said he couldn’t comment on the process system. Lol. So hopefully soon I will see more than just one bar
-
February 9, 2018 at 2:37 pm #4211495

February 9, 2018 at 10:42 am #4211068
Thanks so much for the number! I called and spoke to a very nice lady. There are no flags or reasons for mine to be delayed, and if I don’t receive any updated information in 3-5 days, I can call back.

Still no movement! Everyone around me keeps getting ddd or their refunds. What is the number to call where I can actually speak to a person? I found the number to check my refund, but that’s all automated. I also have not received a letter in the mail asking for more info. -
February 9, 2018 at 9:35 am #4210933Zuby7
Is it worth calling ? I was going to and see if they needed more info but the website says not to call for so many days. Will they give you any info?

February 9, 2018 at 8:43 am #4210823
@ manateej: I hope not. I know my boss submitted all the yearly W2 withholding for everyone in the office on the 31st. I was accepted on the 29th. Maybe they just need to go back to the return and compare. The March 1st thing is what showed up on the FreeTaxUSA filing information. It is just a generic message. That could be the only thing that is going on with my return. When I talk the Department on Tuesday, we went through my whole return and the lady told me everything is fine and I should get my deposit within 2 weeks, one just wasn’t in the system yet. That is pretty close to March 1. Fingers crossed that it comes sooner.
-
February 9, 2018 at 8:18 am #4210778manateej
No update for me. I hope that’s not the case about March 1st.
-
February 9, 2018 at 7:39 am #4210714
Still no update for me. :( I am thinking the Department may have not processed my employers forms.
Under my Wisconsin tax return information on FreeTaxUSA is states the following:
To combat identity theft and fraud, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue may be delaying issuing income tax refunds until March 1, 2018, unless both the employer and employee have filed all required returns and forms. This means your Wisconsin tax refund might be delayed if your employer has not submitted their information to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. If you have further questions, please contact the Wisconsin Department of Revenue at 608-266-2486. The Wisconsin Department of Revenue requests that you wait 12 weeks after filing your tax return before contacting them about your refund.

Filed 2/5, accepted that same night with homestead credit for atate return. Went online and submitted all proof required for homestead credit on 2/6. Woke up today (2/8) and have a ddd for state for 2/15.
If you have the homestead credit send in the proof you need (it’s on the WRA form on your tax rerurn) You can take a pic with yoour phone and submit it. Took 10 minutes.
Wanted to add I used TurboTax to file both federal and state and have the EIC and ACTC for federal. (4 kids)

Looks like those who filed through a tax preparer service (turbo tax, H&R) are still stuck on the 8-12 weeks. I filed mine directly on the Wisconsin website. Maybe that’s why it went faster? Again, filed 1/29, accepted 1/30, and have a DDD for 2/10

Still stuck on 8-12 week processing message.I called and spoke to someone yesterday who stated they were still reviewing but he did say he did not see any red flag or they would’ve sent a letter (he also said as of yesterday nothing in system being mailed to me). Told me to give it another week as they normally
issue within 3 weeks..One of my friends filed on 1/29/18 and is still on 8-12 week message.
Another friend filed 2/2/18 and yesterday 2/7 she got a ddd of 2/9. We all had the same circumstances so not sure why she was processed before us. Lucky her!!

I just got off the phone with Wis DOR. The lady stated that she didn’t see anything on my return that would indicate it was being held or delayed. She said the computer analytical process just may be taking a bit longer, but it is still just processing. The waiting game continues…
-
February 7, 2018 at 9:36 am #4208334
@Fozzybear That is a good theory. I talked with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue this morning because I was concerned that my federal return was not sent. I spoke with a very nice woman. She asked me a few questions about my return and told me she could see my wages from my employer and federal tax information. She said there were no red flags and that I should see movement soon but could take up to two weeks. So we shall see.
-
February 7, 2018 at 9:26 am #4208312
I also still have the 8-12 week message and filed 01/29. I submitted mine through the Wisconsin DOR website and attached my federal return so I cant see what the problem is.
-
February 7, 2018 at 9:21 am #4208305Zuby7
Accepted 1/28, still says 8-12 weeks. Have never had it take so long. People who filed after me are getting their refunds, I might not file so early next year.
-
February 7, 2018 at 9:16 am #4208299Fozzybear
I will just throw this out there as I am currently in the same 8-12week boat as many of you. I work in the accounting department of my company. The situation for my companies employees is that they received their w2’s, however my boss has failed to submit the w2’s to the state of Wisconsin, in which case, wisconsin will hold refunds until March 1st. I received a notice about this and am still waiting for my boss to get us set up so I can submit and get my damn refund! Not saying that is what’s happening to everyone but it’s a possibility.

I have the same processing message this morning. Please allow 8-12 weeks… blah, blah, blah. I used FreeTaxUSA to file this year. I went to the pdf version of my tax return and I notice that a copy of my federal return is not attached. I bet this is the hold up as Wisconsin requires that a copy of the federal tax return is attached in order to be processed. I am going to try to call the Department of Revenue today. Hopefully I can just email my federal tax return to them.

We are reviewing the information on your return. Allow up to 12 weeks for us to complete processing your return.
If you received a request for additional information, allow 8 weeks from the date you sent us the information. With video

I still have the generic 8-12 week message. :(
-
February 6, 2018 at 10:00 am #4207047Lewisconsin
The 8-12 week message is a generic processing message that everyone gets. I think wmr updates every night. I got my ddd last Saturday morning. Last year mine said by the 9th but I got it on the 7th so yes, they do deposit earlier than the deposit date given. It wasn’t a long wait for me this year but also remember filing season officially started later than the previous couple years so things may be a little behind.

February 6, 2018 at 8:29 am #4206911Sam
Finally got a DDD over the weekend for 2/10. Field 1/29, accepted 1/30 (I believe) has anyone gotten their money BEFORE their DDD? The website says it should be in my account BY the 10th, so hoping it’ll be in there sooner.
-
February 5, 2018 at 7:14 pm #4206503
Does everyone get that all 8-12 weeks processing message with that video at the bottom?
-
February 5, 2018 at 5:18 pm #4206441
Does anyone know if Wisconsin WMR updates overnight every night?
-
February 5, 2018 at 3:41 pm #4206384
Filed 1/22, accepted 1/24 and still have 8-12 week message. Nothing special with my return.
Fed DD in account on 1/31. Definitely taking longer than normal for WI this year for whatever reason. -
February 5, 2018 at 12:07 pm #4206156Bensjamming
I filed 1/29/2018 and was accepted the same day. This last Friday I was updated to approved with a DDD of 2/8/2018.
Hopefully yours is on its way already and just hasn’t updated online yet.

-
February 5, 2018 at 10:39 am #4206030manateej
Am I the only one that feels this Wisconsin tax year has taken the longest? For the past decade of filing state, it has NEVER taken this long. I filed 1/29/18 and it still shows processing 8-12 week message.

February 4, 2018 at 8:31 am #4205392

-
February 3, 2018 at 2:03 pm #4205028mwiscon
For those of us who claimed Homestead, if the 8-12 weeks doesnt go away in a couple days they want you to send them a copy of your W2 and rent certificate. You can go online and download a picture of them and send it that way.
I had the 8-12 weeks for 2 days and a message from TT to send them this info but before I could it updated to processed and DD 02/07.Some of them are chosen to have this info sent in.

February 9, 2017 at 11:18 am #4163787
My son had a 2/12 DDD and recv. it last night on his NetSpend card
I also have the same DDD but mine is being deposited into my bank account and it hasn’t shown up yet. I think it will show up overnight and be there by tomorrow. If I remember right, those with NetSpend usually get the deposited a business day before those who have it deposited into their bank accounts -
February 9, 2017 at 12:31 am #4162744
My DDD was for the 8th, but I got it the night of the 5th.
-
February 8, 2017 at 11:27 pm #4162713Cece
I’ve heard Thursday’s. but yeah I thought the 12th was a bit wonky. I’ve always gotten mine 2-3 days before the DDD they gave.
-
February 8, 2017 at 11:16 pm #4162708Sand
DOES ANYONE ELSE….think its odd to get a will be deposited by a SUNDAY? 2/12 like there is something wonky?

-
February 6, 2017 at 9:06 pm #4160200bobbi
Filed mine through TurboTax and they held it until the tax processing was open for state and federal. Received Fed 2 weeks ago. I have always received my state first. Just ridiculous.
-
February 6, 2017 at 3:35 pm #4159961Justme
So I called w.d.o.r. Just to see if they could or would tell me anything. I told him that people that filed after me are getting ddds already while mine says still processing so i asked if maybe my taxes were being intercepted or if maybe they were requesting more info, and the response he gave me was at this point there is nothing show interception or more info for my return and that it is not unusual for a return to take the full 12 weeks to be processed. I really hope that’s not the case for those of us still waiting. I was accepted 1/23/17. No ddd yet. On another note, for those of us waiting for federal due to the path act, my buddy just received his federal return today and he claimed e.i.c. And c.t.c. Strange but hopefully more of us will see ours early.
-
February 6, 2017 at 12:54 pm #4159785
It’s why I don’t file until after they officially start tax season. It seems like early filers have a higher chance of being delayed.
-
February 6, 2017 at 11:06 am #4159712jennettes
I was accepted 1/17 and I still am being processed with no DDD either. Very strange… it seems like the ones that were accepted early are being processed last…
-
February 5, 2017 at 9:51 pm #4159410
DDD of 2/8 – just showed up in my account tonight. Best of luck to you guys.
-
February 5, 2017 at 12:51 pm #4159246bobbi

-
February 5, 2017 at 10:42 am #4159193mandyhasaband
I also have a date of 2/11. See ya’ll next year :)
-
February 5, 2017 at 12:25 am #4159092Onlineangel
Accepted 1/17 and FINALLY see a DDD of 2/11 today. Longest it’s ever taken for WI for me.
-
February 4, 2017 at 9:21 pm #4159029Justme
Same here, federal and Wisconsin both accepted 1/23/17. I have claimed EIC and CTC so I know fed will take a lil while but Wisconsin still says 8-12 weeks. No more info needed as of yet so idk what’s going on. It worries me that I haven’t got a ddd yet. I never waited this long for a ddd unless I was being garnished but then still it would have said something about that by now as it has previous years.
-
February 4, 2017 at 2:17 pm #4158830
Filed on 1/23 and also still getting the video with the 8-12 week message. Very frustrating. I do know in previous years the deposit made my account long before they updated on Where My Refund. But this is the longest wait I’ve ever had.
-
February 4, 2017 at 11:14 am #4158696bobbi
I don’t know about you guys but my return was accepted on 1/17 through Turbo Tax. I’m reading through some of these replies and many of you were accepted after mine was and I still get the 8-12 week message. his is totally ridiculous. This is the reply I received from the state:
Standard processing time may take up to 8-12 weeks. We have not requested any further information from you at this time, your return is still in process. Please allow more time for your return to be processed.
If they are not asking me for further info, then what the hell is taking so long??
-
February 4, 2017 at 9:37 am #4158582brewcrew87
@Joe –
My return was finally accepted late last night. I sent a support message to Credit Karma asking about it on Wednesday but haven’t heard back. Regardless, hopefully yours is moving now too.
The WI WMR site already has updated that they received it and are processing the return – typical 8-12 weeks message for now.
-
February 4, 2017 at 7:50 am #4158508
Finally… I woke up this morning to a state DDD, “Your return has been processed and your refund should be direct deposited into the account provided on your tax return by 02/11/2017”
-
February 3, 2017 at 11:28 am #4157904
@ mandyhasaband: I guess the 25th is unlucky! Hopefully it will update over the weekend.
-
February 3, 2017 at 10:48 am #4157855mandyhasaband
I remember one year the site never updated, and I got my money. It just seems to be dragging this year. I guess the 25th was an unlucky day to file :)
-
February 3, 2017 at 9:27 am #4157804
@ mandyhasaband : I think they update overnight, but I am not for sure. I feel like a few years ago I checked in the morning once and my state was not approved, but then I checked again in the afternoon and it was.
It looks like you and I are in the same situation. accepted on the 25th.
-
February 3, 2017 at 9:03 am #4157777mandyhasaband
Same message for me, too. Anyone know how often they update their site?
-
February 3, 2017 at 8:24 am #4157729
I still have the same 8-12 weeks message this morning…
@ Jerry – there is a federal offset phone number that you can call and see if there will be any offsets taken. (800) 304-3107
-
February 3, 2017 at 6:30 am #4157643Joe
@brewcrew87 … Same situation, filed 1/27 with Credit Karma, no WI acceptance, and no updates from Credit Karma.
-
February 3, 2017 at 2:48 am #4157594
@ Jerry. I don’t think so, but I could be wrong. I had a state offset a few years back and they actually took it out over 2 years but they never touched my federal.
-
February 2, 2017 at 10:57 pm #4157505Jerry
My entire state return was taken to pay an unpaid City of Madison Ambulance bill. It didn’t cover the whole bill.
Can Wisconsin take the rest of the bill from my Federal return?
-
February 2, 2017 at 12:52 pm #4157157mandyhasaband
filed and accepted 1/25. Got my federal yesterday, still getting the 8-12 week message with state. no changes from last year. Usually I get my state before federal.
-
February 2, 2017 at 10:26 am #4157019brewcrew87
Question – anyone here file with Credit Karma? I took the leap of faith this year, and I filed my WI taxes on the 28th. They have STILL not been accepted. Reached out to Credit Karma to see what the deal is and haven’t heard back.
Already have a DD date for my federal returns… Wondering if anyone has had their WI returns accepted AFTER January 28th.
-
February 2, 2017 at 10:12 am #4157006onlineangel
Accepted on 1/17. Still showing Processing and 8-12 weeks. Nothing special about my return. Already received federal back. weird…
-
February 2, 2017 at 9:57 am #4156994Nee
I have a DDD of by 2/5(Sunday) any estimate when I might actually get it? I am using NetSpend if that would make a difference.
-
February 2, 2017 at 7:41 am #4156914
Still have the same lame message this morning… :) Accepted 1/25, allow up to 12 weeks… Hopefully by the weekend there will be some movement. Nothing is different on my return this year. So I do not know what problem could exist, if any.
-
February 2, 2017 at 7:15 am #4156900chris

-
February 1, 2017 at 1:26 pm #4156499Shelli
Filed 1/23, accepted 1/24, still no dd. Still have the 8-12 weeks message. Could really use my money this week… Vehicle broke down this a.m. And because of EIC, have to wait at least 2 more weeks for Federal. This is so stupid. Grrr
-
February 1, 2017 at 11:21 am #4156415
Filed 27th, accepted 28th. This morning I have a DDD of 2/8

WI refund was deposited in my account this morning. That’s a week turn around for state. The IRS should follow this example.

Filed on Monday, 1/23, accepted same day (1/23). Today (1/25) it says my return has been completed and will receive DD by 2/1.

Filed my WI on 1/18/17. Can’t remember for sure when accepted, but was within a day or so. Have a DDD of by 1/28/17. So probably tomorrow as Thursdays seems to be when WI usually does DD.

March 2, 2016 at 4:01 pm #4145137anon.
Anyone see updates? Im still stuck on the 8-12 week message, with no updates, no letters. I remember I had this screen for a few days and then got my refund and message changed so far not this year. Its crazy normally my federal takes almost 1 1/2 months and my state less then a week, this year I received my federal exactly one week from my file date, amd state still with the 8-12 week message..:…

Update for those with the 8=12 weeks notice. I was give a DD date today of BY 2/10. Pretty sure last year was a similar deal and my deposit actually came earlier than expected. So if you got this warning, there is a chance you won’t be waiting nearly as long as it says. Same as last year.

State was accepted 1/27 Also got the 8-12 weeks message. They did the same thing to me last year and I ended up getting it really fast with barely any warning that it was coming.

Filed and accepted 28th for both federal and Wisconsin. Wisconsin now showing under review, 8-12 weeks. Is this the standard again this year? I know my Wisconsin showed the same thing last year for a few days before updating with a DDD.

Here’s a perplexing one. Yesterday I checked the WI site and I have a message that my refund will be dd by 1/31/16. It’s nice to have a general idea, but it’s a little vague. Nothing today, so i’m assuming tomorrow or Friday. Too bad the IRS isn’t as efficient as the state of WI.

File my 2015 tax return 1/19/16. Got accepted the same day. My state refund is only showing that the process has been accepted and is being reviewed. It says to allow 8-12 weeks for processing. I’ve been trying to log onto the WI “where’s my refund” site all day but it won’t load. Anyone else experiencing these issues?

Mine was accepted on 2/2/13 and I still have not received my refund??? Today is 2/11. I efiled like I always do and already paid the fees through turbotax. Usually state is the fastest. Still no refund and the wisconsin state refund status website is a total fucking joke!! does not give you a refund date or anticipated date like they used too???? Say’s Efile can take up to 3 weeks after acceptance? REALLY? Why is that?
-
February 10, 2014 at 2:11 pm #20037dan
Nope, filed and accepted on 1-31-14. Slow ass government..fast to take money, slow to send it back.
