Who lost tac topic 152 as well?

Don’t understand why some people still have tax topic 152 and others like me lost tax topic 152.

I’ve never ever lost bars and tax topic 152.

Lost bars and tt152 and have niot gotten no ID letter. I have never had to verify my Identity. I do that when I file using my previous years AGI and pin through turbo tax

There have been people posting they lost tt152 but got it back days later. So not always 5071 letter for ID.

@thicks I believe this theory as well. We are “still processing” with no bars, no transcript updates and received the id Verify today.

Filed 2/4 accepted 2/10. Lost bar and tt152 on 2/26 then tt 152 came back on 3/2. So confused. Don’t have access to transcripts so we’re in the dark

I don’t know for sure, but I suspect that “…still being processed…” and NO TT152 may mean IDV. Last year I had the message and did not see TT 152 in WMR, and then I got the 5071C Letter.

The reason, I deduce, is because they think there’s a strong possibility a scammer is using your SSN to file, so they don’t know if a refund is actually warranted.

My thing is, I supplied my W2s with my filing. But they don’t even look at the return if they flag for IDV.

OMG please people quit telling everyone it’s a 60 day hold. I have done my due diligence and researched it on this site and it does not mean a 60 day hold always. People have had this withhold of TT152 and rc’d their DD.

Just curious. How many of those with NA transcripts had filed with TurboTax last year and were delayed on their 2nd stimulus payment?

My cycle code is normally 05, but for my 2nd stimulus payment it was 02. I wonder if we are being recycled back to our 05 and that is why Monday we updated to the “Still being processed” message.

And no, doesn’t necessarily mean we’re under 60 day review. Like someone else said, if we were, we’d receive a notice. We may yet, but as of now, it means nothing.

@Krysten There is a difference between losing bars and TT 152 and losing bars and keeping TT 152. Plus any information you received via a phone call before your 21 day wait was probably just generic and not for YOUR account.

So with everything I read it means you will get deposit date soon or a letter.lol nothing makes any sense this year, all any of us can do is wait. Can’t wait for this tax season to be over with. Just a headache.

Don’t listen to dummies, It does not mean 60 hold. I called them today for the same thing with no TT and its just processing. IRS received more tax returns sooner this year and its taking longer. You are likely in the next round to get DDD and if it was a hold or and ID verification you would receive a letter if nothing has changed by monday call the irs ‪(800) 829-0582‬ i believe I used ext 635 or 365 I cannot remember now.
