            NO UPDATE FOR ME STILL AT 1 BAR :'( FILED ON 1/20 AND ACCEPTED THATS SAME DAY BUT NO CHANGE AT ALL SO I GUESS I WILL WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEKEND CAUSE LAST YEAR I FILED ON 1/30 AND GOT APPROVED ON 2/6 AND DDD 2/10 SO THAT WAS 11 days so i will wait until the 1/31/15 to see what happens! !!

                      Two years ago I filed with HR Block they messed up on Bus. Rule 500 as well. They had the wrong version and when I told them what the IRS said they told me they updated it and would resend . waited six weeks before i finally got my refund. Nope they never gave me anything back for their mistake. I haven’t used them since and never will again.

                        Irs doesn’t only refund on Fridays. .. where do you people get your info from? ? Last year I got my refund on a Thursday.

                          NIKITA – that screw up by H&R Block was 2 years ago, and it was Form 8863 – Education Tax Credits. I know because I was a part of it. They deflected blame and still charged full price. Nobody affected by it was compensated in any way.

                            AMANDA: I think people are thinking it matters where they filed I believe it was last year (maybe year before) H&R Block didn’t update a specific part of their systems to new regulations which caused every one of the returns filed by them with a specific form (Not sure which one) to be sent to error resolution. There was a huge chunk of people that had to wait longer than normal due to H&R blocks’ mistake

                                My friend that gave me the date of the 28th said that the infovwas on their corp conference call. That they will release the deposit codes in the 28th but to tell people to check the 3rd so they don’t get flooded. Have faith guys, no one has to lie!

                                  Last year my return was accepted on 1/31. return credited on 7th Feb.

                                  This year filed on 1/20 ,accepted on 1/21. Expecting my return to be credit by 29th or 30th.

                                      I have always e-filed my taxes and have been in the accounting field. In all previous years, an indication that returns were actually being processed (not just received and accepted by the IRS) was that clients were able to go to the IRS website and get an online transcript for the current year’s return. So far this year, I am not aware of anyone who has been able to obtain the transcripts as of yet, hence none have been processed. Because of the Health Care Act and budget cuts, I believe we are all looking at closer to the 21 days than in previous years, although they have generally used that in past years as a fall back in case of delays or issues. It is also absolutely not true that WHERE you filed taxes, or who your accountant is, determines how soon you will receive your refund. The refunds are processed in order that they are received, then by difficulty (1040 EZ first, ) errors are held, etc. Once IRS.GOV starts showing movement on the transcripts, that indicates that returns are being processed and THEN we will see movement and DDDs.

                                          I found this on yahoo answers. It’s from 2010. Is it possible this could be causing confusion by not paying attention to the year? IJS

                                          What is the first day the irs is issueing refunds for direct deposit?
                                          I know they only issue on friday, but is this friday the first date or is it not…show more

                                          If you e-filed your return before January 21st, your direct deposit would be scheduled for January 29th.

                                              Are you people that crazy? OK THE IRS DOES NOT PROCESS TAXES BY WHERE YOU HAD YOUR TAXES DONE AT. For example some of you are saying H&R Blocks taxes are going to be deposited on the 28th and Jackson Hewitt customers taxes will be deposited on the 29th Turbo Tax gets theirs on the 30th. That’s a bunch of garbage that’s not how it works. They review them as they come in. Some situation are different and require more time to process. No matter who you talk to everyone has something different to say. The only people that knows when you get your return is the IRS. They will send you your return within 21 days PERIOD. The IRS is sticking to that. so check your statuses in 21 days. This is tough love guys I am being honest you think its going to be a quick thing like it has been in the past tax seasons. Things are different now. You have all the tax deductions, the Obamacare and you have a lot of fraud cases (where people are stealing SS# and making up fake companies to collect money from the IRS. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

                                                            Hi guys I have a friend that manages a local Jackson Hewitt and she said that the IRS will give them their first deposits by the 28th and that they were told to tell customers by the 3rd. Hope this helps!!!

I was accepted on the 20th but filed on the 7th although it would be a pleasant surprise to wake up to money in my account on the 28th it is hard to believe…I guess we will just have to wait and see.

                                                                              I filed my return on Jan20th and the next morning I checked my email and it said my return was rejected because I had the wrong Pin in anyways I corrected it and 30 min later (jan 21) it was accepted So I was wondering does anyone think this is hold up my retrun on WMR its just at One bar just wondering if there will be a delay since it got rejected dut to a mistake thanks for any help.

                                                                                I wouldn’t BS. It is confirmed with H & R Block that refunds will be there on the 28th of Jan, as well as Liberty Tax. I’m 100% sure refunds will be deposited THIS WEEK! Mark my words, I’ll be on this post on the 27th and 28th!

                                                                                  I also noticed that tax act has a delay in relaying information , because this year I filed on the 17th was accepted by the irs on the 20th per taxact email, but my return was already being processed before I received the email, I noticed it because WMR was already updated.

                                                                                    It’s hard for me to trust WMR. I’ve filed with Taxact for several years, never had a problem. Before that I manually did my own taxes and soon after comparing my figures to taxact’s I became confident in the accuracy of their software and the irs recommended them. A couple of years I filed early I had my refund in 3 to 4 days after being accepted the quickest I’ve ever seen. One year WMR didn’t update at all and the money was already in the bank, checked WMR a couple of days later it finally updated from 1 bar to 3. Then one year it took forever, gave me a deposit date, a couple of days later the deposit date changed. Last year I filed early and it took a full 21 days~ people who filed after me received their money before I did. This year I took a lump sum and had to file a 1099-R which I’m hoping doesn’t affect anything + the usual EIC form. I think their will be action taken on a lot of returns next week but I wouldn’t be surprised if the money is their before WMR updates.

                                                                                        Kalyn, that update stuff for the WMR isn’t for updates !! It says if you read it the WMR isn’t avaliable at that time, meaning it’s under maintenance at those times…WMR updates every day in the middle of the night usually between 3am and 7am….

So hopefully we’ll see some DDD at some point tomorrow
