      Hoping some of you who have already received your tax refund can help. Does that mean it will come May 4th? Is there a more common day of the week for IRS to deposit? Thanks!

          Update: you were correct as a I checked turbo tax bank (sbtpg) and they have my return with a release date of tomorrow!

            I’m guessing you have a DDD of 4/29. That’s this Wednesday. Wednesdays are the big days for DDs. However, the WMR message always has a built-in window of 5 days for banks to complete the deposit, so [paraphrasing] “check with your bank if it isn’t in your account by May 4.” You’ll most likely get it 4/29.
