Adding our DL, SSN, and DOB to our taxes as well as creating a special pin to protect our identity, just to have to call and VERIFY ID AGAIN just to get our refunds?! Like it’s ridiculous how many people are going through ID verification this year and having to wait LONGER for their refund! I mean if we didn’t file our taxes or owed back taxes the IRS would have NO PROBLEM figuring out who we are. Just sayin

  Yeah meanwhile first time filers aren’t getting checked and if they do, they fly by.. My sister and her b/f.. Both filed after me.. ID verified same day as me and got their refunds early..

  Same issue… Filed 01/24 w TT and accepted. Topic 152. Called its said to call Tax Payer Protection Program. On hold forever so I verified my ID withe questions etc on the IRS identity verify website and received a message saying congrats you passed and expect up to 6 weeks to process. As processing would no recommence. Sucks!!!!!!!
