    This updates every day with the current date.
    Tax period: December 2021
    Information about the request we received
    On Jan 13,2022 we received a request for verification of non-filing of a tax return.
    As of the date of this letter, we have no record of a processed tax return for the tax period listed above.

    What’s wrong with you people? That’s a simple confirmation of non filing. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s always been there when they don’t have a processed record of your tax return for that year. Is it that hard to comprehend?

    Checked my account transcript it says code 290 what does that mean?

    I have that on my transcript as well. My return accepted today. Checked WMR and has 1 bar.

    It has never been on my transcripts in prior years. So you are saying it’s on everybody’s?

    It means that the IRS is not accepting returns yet and it is going to be a long 2 months for you, if you start worrying about codes now. ha ha
