Weekly vs Daily

Is anyone here aware of how being processed weekly affects your tax return timeline. If a return was filed on 2/5, how would it be processed if it’s weekly?

@ Missnicole they are so far behind I can only say I sure hope you get some kinda update I mean it’s such a long wait from 1 week till the next just for a freaking update no matter how big or small like for example week 1 account transcripts week 2 account transcripts again must be when I was resequenced week 3 lost my bars week 4 remains to be seen till then I guessing I’ll get my bars back and a ddd or a dreadful code please no codes

@ miss nicole I was able to request my account trannys only a week after filing but they were blank and I since has ordered again last Friday my account trannys I’m still not able to get my return I’m hoping that pans out this update I don’t doubt that you can but its the return tranny that matters that how we now it’s complete

I’ve gotten Wednesday deposits for the last two years. If I filed last Friday morning at 10:12 am and accepted at 10:13 am is it reasonable maybe expect transcripts tomorrow? Currently I can’t order them with either address.

@Emily I know me too matter of fact I lost my bars last Sunday I was expecting a big update and boy did I get it lol but yes I called cause my 21 days was up I got an answer I could live with he told me basically what I was told when I slipped up and called before my 21 day by way if calling try ext 652 it seems to get you threw right away He said I had a 1 week delay because I had been resequenced to allow an extra week of processing that I should hear or see my dd by next week no flags no erras and so on I chalked it up to be that they are very behind so as they process the in they are slowly doing the back log if we really think about it it has really only been 1 big update for weeklies and that was 2/5 & 2/6 for ddd of 2/10 so its not the 2nd big update for weeklies for 2/12 &2/13 for ddd of 2/17 I hope to be in it Lord let me be in this update

@MinneSnowta – Thank you. We got our refund on a Friday last year. I wonder if it’s possible we got switched to weekly this year. We e-filed and were accepted 1/19. Had 1 bar in WMR until 2/6 when it switched to “still processing” message with TT152. Has stayed that way since. 21 days were up 2/9. Have called IRS twice and gotten a different response. They are saying no letters have been sent out to us – still processing and reviewing our information. Hopefully I will see a DDD on this Sat – 2/13. Only time will tell I suppose! Thanks for your info!

@Missnicole They are saying anywhere from 4-8 weeks Actually returns filed 1/14-1/20 appear a majority have credits in either EIC or EDUCATION which will require W2or 1099 submission for Income Verification and if you don’t have credits it will be an ID VERIFY
The system rejected MANY and resubmissiin resequenced them to the BACK
Conveniently being used to “float” funding

@hy If you got your money on any other day besides a Wednesday you are a daily if you got your transcript from last year and you have an 05 at the end of your cycle code you are a weekly we only update on the weekends Friday into Saturday for trannys and Saturday into Sunday for direct deposit dates

So if I got my direct deposit on a Wednesday last year, that means I’m a weekly? Just trying to figure out when I’ll be getting my refund this year as I filed on 1/27 and am still on one bar.

No weeklies are only processed on a weekend like Friday trannys and Saturday for ddd for dd on the coming Wednesday if you are a weekly you will get your updates on a weekend and deposit on a Wednesday it been that way for years my cycle code ends with 05 so I know I am a weekl I got my money on a Wednesday last year and I expect it on a Wednesday this year dailies are all other days and update any day of the week BTW I filed 1/20 and since have only been able to order my account transcripts on a Friday twice already because I was resequenced my first was blank my second one haven’t received and I expect my return to be ready anytime tomorrow cause that is when weeklies update and I’m to see a ddd by Saturday hope it is more clear now not tryna miss inform anyone there is a post about it only difference is Wednesday for dd for weeklies updates Friday and Saturday keep an eye on the post the next 2 days you will see

How do you know if you are daily or weekly cycles?

This is the way that I am looking at it: I filed in the evening of 2/4/16. Received an email from TT at 11:53 PM that night that my return was accepted. For the last three years I have been on a weekly cycle, meaning that my return would be processed on a Thursday. I have seen others who say that the IRS did not accepted their return until the 8th so that may push us weekly people back until next Thursday (2/18/16). If that is the case, we may not get our funds until 2/24/16. I hope this is not the case, but it is possible.

Weekly are only processed on Thursdays.
