Weekend Update

I filed on January 28. I was excepted the same day. I have stayed at one bar with tax topic 152 this entire time. Last Friday on the fifth I was able to order my account transcript but no return transcript sense. Does anyone know if that makes me weekly? If so, is it likely I could update Saturday?

Very similar situation to mine. I was finally able to get a nice IRS human who checked out my issue. He told me I needed to call the Tax Payer Protection Program. I called, was put on two lengthy holds so I decided to call the number for the IRS ID Verify website that kept repeating. I hung up, called the number, verified answers to questions I would only know, and then receieved a congrats, that I had successfully verified my identity and the hold would be taken of my return processing and would recommence processing. . I called the TTPP number again yesterday, just to make sure that was the issue. The rep said well, bc I can’t see your info, bc you verified on the website first, if you received that message after verifying, and it allowed you to verify, that was the issue. I said okay thank you and he wished me the best of luck w receiving my return soon. He also said it would be up to 9 weeks, not the 6 weeks the message I received after verifying displayed. I said really? He said yes and that he/ all agents are suppose to give that time frame. I said so a bit like a script then huh, that you guys have been told to follow??? He said basically yes and that he didn’t want to give an earlier time frame than that just in case the refund didn’t come b/c then the individual would be calling them back more info and even more angry. I then said okay, sort of like under promising yet over delivering.? He said yes. So… That’s how mine went. I will give you the number and the site in case you decide to call or vice versa. Oh, and I am still within my 21 days until next Monday so two really nice individuals (finally and rare) that helped me. Too, he said it was a good thing I did what I did otherwise no telling how long I would have been waiting for the letter in the mail. I hope this information proves helpful.

@Eliza @ Micha Have you called them? Did you receive EIC or Education Credits?
You are probably pulled either for Review of Income ir IS Verification Call the # that has extension 6’52nd

I am in the same boat. I have been a weekly the last few years and I can always order account on one Friday, then get return trans on the following Friday, and then get a DDD the next day on Sat. I got my account on 2/5 and I am praying I can get return transcript tomorrow for a DDD on Saturday.
