      I filed 1/22 and when I filed I applied for a loan (through turbo taxes bank) and it said i was approved for the loan. So I figured I would get it on the 27th because it said after the irs opens it would be approved
      Next day 1/23 irs approved my federal refund ( and state) but I never got the loan or any proof of them saying I could have the loan……is this normal?

          Chances are if you didnt get an approval email you did not actually qualify. Sadly this happened to a lot of people. They were overqualified but then denied after federal was accepted. You can also check on the sbtpg website.type in your info and scroll down. If you see the advance and a date sent then you need to call and find out what happened. If you see nothing then like a lot of others you were denied.
