Transcript question help please!?

I tried requesting my transcript- do I really need a credit card in my name to access it? I don’t have a credit card Never have. My a*% would be in debt. I wanna see if there is that code- since I guess that’s the only way I’ll ever know a date. Got my money before WMR even updated last few years

@Dsums I wish I knew what number to use! Maybe I can call the loan company and ask when I’m not locked out anymore? You would’ve thought if any account number from them worked it would’ve been the one on the tax form they sent me lol.

@jen27 mine are through cornerstone and they worked for me but my actual loan didn’t work just the federal one

Mine says US Department of Education federal loan and is serviced by Navient. But I have tried every account number I can find for it and it won’t match the IRS.

Student loans only work if they are federal loans

I can’t on my student loan account either! I tried the number listed on my account, the one on the credit report, I even tried the account number that was listed on the tax form they sent me and that didn’t work either! So frustrating!!!

I cant even get student loan accounts to work. Not the lender account number or consumer report number. All bad. Went from path to return is being processed

In order to view them online right now you unfortunately have to have a credit card, auto loan, student loan, or mortgage account number. The bad part is that won’t even work half the time! I had been able to view my transcripts for the past week. When I got on there this morning to look for the 846 code it told me I had to re-verify my account. I tried the one credit card we have, both auto loans, and a student loan number and it said none of them matched and then locked me out for 24 hours! I ordered them by mail but I’m hoping WMR will update before I get them through snail mail. They should have different ways of verifying your identity!
