How do you know it’s a “small” offset? Where do you find amount?

It took em a month process our return. This morning we had two bars, our full refund amount listed and a DDD of 2/27 listed. Then at the bottom is TT203. I called and they said it was the KY Dept of Revenue. Back state taxes? I moved to TN five years ago and we don’t have state tax here. We were already on a repayment plan on our mortgage, and had until 2/28 to make our mortgage payment. Got a 9 year old, a 2 year old and the third is due late March. My wife doesn’t need this stress, especially over something I did before I even met her. I make fun of fuckers giving their sob stories on here, and now look at me. I sincerely apologize.

@Larry huff By the time they process your return and give you a DDD, all offsets should be taken care of. I have personally never had an offset cause my refund to be late.

I posted this response in another question but felt I should post here as well:
Maybe this will help someone. Last weekend wmr updated for me DDD 2/22 with TT203. Called the offset hotline, option two said I had an offset, call Bureau of Fiscal Services. They are closed weekends, and of course Monday was a holiday, so after stressing out for several days on Tuesday I find out it’s for a co-pay from the VA. Anyway, my bank had my refund (minus offset) at 10:15pm cst on 2/21.
My WMR had full refund amount all week, two bars, DDD 2/22. I checked WMR this am and I have 3 bars, refund sent ,states how much refund WAS, how much offset was and actual amount sent to my bank. -

@Larry huff,
Yes sir I’m being honest. I had an offset for unemployment and i owed 1xxx and my remaining balance still deposited in my account on the DDD. THAT particular offset I had was from tax year 2017 and I received balance on the DDD. I hope that helps. Good luck to you! -

@JenniferStar it was a few hundred dollars back state taxes in the state I used to live in. I got the 203 code on WMR. It says approved with a DDD for 2/27. Will I still get what’s left on my deposit date?

From everything I have read no it should not. You should receive your deposit on or before the ddd.

@Larry huff, I have had offsets in the past, for me, it has never delayed my return. It all happens in the processing, I generally check the offset line when I know I have one, the offset will generally disappear when they have received the funds and you get your DDD shortly after.

If you have a remaining balance it won’t delay your deposit 😊 idk about early but it’ll deposit on the DDD shown
