Is anyone else annoyed with the fact that they got accepted on a date and have no refund date yet those who filed after you, same situation as you, nothing complicated, have a refund date?

Mine was accepted on the 24th and it is just showing accepted. Blah.

If you got accepted on or before Jan 31, they don’t even have to talk to you until Feb 21. And I agree I got accepted 1/25, and people with the same things on their returns get accepted even after the 31st and already have DD dates! My return is almost a carbon copy every year except for wages and student loan interest. Same workplace, same dependents etc. Why does it take so long every year then?

try calling the 1800 number… my status stayed at the “accepted” stage and still is when i checked it this morning, and i always get the “you may have entered your information incorrectly” on the Wheres my Refund site and App….but when i called the 1800 number it gives me a DD date of 2-6-2013 .
i hear other people getting results by calling the IRS and speaking with a rep… but beware that you may get that unfriendly rep haha

            just me

I used tax act with an accepted date of 1/27 and still nothing, only accepted. My sister used HR Block was accepted the same day as I was 27th and has a DD date of 2/4. I guess IRS has HR on top of their list. We both had simple 1040 with EIC only.

                Just a heads up

                Accepted: 24th
                Married Filed Jointly
                4 children

And finally the site says: Your tax refund is scheduled to be sent to your bank on February 6, 2013.
If your refund is not credited to your account by February 11, 2013, check with your bank to see if it has been received.

I got accepted on the 25th and mine still shows processing. I borrowed some money from my mother and I need to pay her back soon. She needs her money for her medicine. I thought it would be here by now. Damn

Accepted 1/25, still processing here too. Just a W-2, claimed children, (one dependent is new, born March ’12) but that’s the biggest change. Same ole EIC, child tax credits. 4th year in a row we’ve been held up for no darn good reason. I’m really getting pissed off reading people accepted on 1/30 getting their DD dates already- I mean, I’m glad for them, but pissed off because ours has been in their system for 5 additional days with no apparent movement!?

We have 5 kids, we could really use this right about now. It’s bad enough waiting almost 2 years now for the VA to approve my husband’s disability claim.

                    Thanks, US government.
