Tax Topic 152, Refund Information

My WRM updated for the first time in like a month this morning. I don’t have the amount of my refund on the left hand side anymore and it has this tax topic. Transcripts still say N/A.

@Shawna that happened to me as well. I filed back in Feb. Bars disappeared in March. I still have tax topic 152 and no bars and I’m still waiting..

Mine is the me way, I had the bars saying processing, now they are gone and t still a processing, with t152 by to it, it was excepted 4/10/2021 . Does this mean I’m in like with hall and I’m gonna have to wait months also?

Accepted 2/17 still processing on WMR, No DDD
Called today, I have to wait till the end of May due to a letter I received letting me know about topic 152 on WMR.
So if what I was told is true… Then whenever you received that letter or noticed the topic 152 on WMR that is when your 60 days start for the review process SMFH
If anyone has any info or has a accepted date around my date and received your refund please let me know

I have been waiting two months and it has said 152 the entire time. Also used turbo tax

My tt 152 has never gone away. Filed 2/13 and accepted same day. I have received 2 letters from IRS for 60-day reviews dated 2 weeks apart.

Usually if you are seeing TT 152 it means you’re about to get a DDD.

File 2/12/2021 but accepted the same night a few ours later IRS they said that they got it 2/16
Had 1 bar from 2/12 to 3/6
3/6 bar and TT disappeared stayed that way from 3/6 until 3/23 still processing and date when available
Call IRS told no errors just wait 10 weeks
3/24 TT back and amount disappeared just said tax period 12/31/2020 still processing and date when available
Today 3/26 bars back DD of 3/30

Accepted 2/22/21
I lost my wmr bar on 3/13/21 after 19 days. I have had the tt152 for 13 days and had no updates. My as to date is still 2/22/21. I do not know if the tt152 means anything.

My federal accepted Fed 12, 2021…the website, mobile and 800 number keeps telling me in process in process. Now I have tax topic 152. Has anyone that had this topic recieved anything yet

Jennifer I filed with TT as well. I am seriously hoping I’ll at least get a DDD by Friday.

I am in the exact same boat. The only difference in our situations is that I used Turbo Tax. From what I am reading I think everyone that was accepted 2/12 is still waiting for refunds. Hopefully the Tax Topic 152 appearing is a good sign. Good Luck!

Bri Thanks, that is what I thought. I am an 05 and have only had movement this past Friday. I went onto my Congressman’s website last week and completed a form e-mail to him about this debacle (overall) and how it is costing taxpayers additional money, as well as my personal situation.

If anyone does write their Congressman, take a photo of your form e-mail as you won’t have a copy if you do a form e-mail as it’s not going out from your personal e-mail box.

This happened to me last week and I got a DD on my transcript last Friday for 3/24 and WMR updated that Saturday.
