I’ve seen some people saying that if your status on WMR Is “still processing” that’s a bad thing. Can anyone tell me what to expect?

Cali559 I think you are confused or messing with people. Code 806 absolutely does not mean refund freeze. You’re return would have never gotten to the refund if it was flagged.

Honesty that means a audit happened to me last year and i checked my transcript and got a 806 code refund freeze . And they asked me to send all types of stuff for my dependents

I did a bunch of research on this and you will see a lot of scary things if you google it. If you have dependents and fall under the pace act your return was probably approved, but they are not able to fulfill the refund as of yet due to the pace act, so your processing date was pushed back which caused the status to change to processing.

You can access your transcripts on irs.com. When you look at your tax codes if you see code 150 you are probably good, just waiting on the Pace act delay.
