Any self employed filers getting a large return?

Im self employed and get the EIC and have two young children as dependants. My returns have been just under 5k. Just wondering what others average with there own business after paying a few thousands in taxes on money earned the year?

Last year we were declared a weekly account.

Self employed 3 kids (23,20, 14) 4K barely DDD was 2/3 woke u to an update of tax topic 151. I made $200 less than last year and only other difference is I filed my 20 yr old usually my ex husband does. So now I’m just waiting on my letter hoping that’s all it is…

Self employed, HoH, 2 dependents with expected refund of 6K+.
Accepted 1/21 & WMR bars @ 1 awaiting approval.
Been filing about same each year with a few changes but have seen refund amount in between 4K to 6K .
I’m way ready for my RAC to deposit!

Yes, self employed whole year, 3 dependents and expecting just over 6k back. Accepted 1/19 and still waiting for approval.

I was self employed for part of the year (will be for the full year this year). My husband works for the school system here. 3 kids, eic, credit for where I am in college. We are getting back a little over $9k from federal.
