Return Transcript Wording Change

This morning I was sure I would be able to order my return transcript. Instead, no. :( Howevwr, the wording totally changed from a couple short sentences saying it isn’t available to a big paragraph. Does this mean anything?

Gm all!! I had the same wording change this morning. i was able to order account trans. and then as of 30 mins ago i could order over the phone and double checked online my return transcript!!!! So regardless of what the irs says i believe it means something. I filed and accepted 1/22 according to the irs 1/25. Feels great to see some movement. hopefully it means some DDD’S tomm with the update tonight!! I have been on this forum since i filed and i think next year im going to wait an extra week or so to file. gl everyone

Trends show it does :) with that said there are a few who ordered with no date and few who couldn’t order and got DDD. Odds are though that you will! Good luck in the AM all hope we ALL get dates!

Okay, I tried again for the transcript after I got off the phone just for the heck of it and was able to order return transcript!!!!! Does this mean I should get DDD tomorrow?

I wouldn’t be so sure. I was able to order return transcript as of 2 minutes ago. Keep checking. I am convinced the wording change means something.

Wording change means nothing.

I called IRS 3 times before I got someone that would look. Even though I filed on 1/28, they didn’t accept me until 02/01 (thanks for the false hopes H&R Block, won’t be using you again). She said it will be closer to the 28th before I will see any change and that I’m still processing.

I was so hopeful. I’m ready to cry. I just need my money.

Small update… I was able to order my return transcript just now…..Fingers crossed for you all! hopefully that means DDD in the am (I did see some were able to order but still didn’t update)

Well if not all have changed…I wonder if this is a good thing or a bad thing that the wording changed…..Ugh Today needs to hurry up so I can check again later tonight…I just filed on the 2nd so I won’t get any type of answers from the IRS (not that those waiting longer are getting real answers either) Good luck! Hope you get some good news!

Thank you,yea thats different then mine,i still got the short version.
I will call the irs today and see if they can look up my return,just going to tell them wmr has some kinda error code and i need to call them

A transcript is not available for the year you have requested. For information about requesting an actual copy of your return use IRS Form 4506. Other transcripts and Form 4506 are available if you contact us at 1-800-908-9946, our automated telephone self service. You can see more information about requesting a copy of your return as well.

(That is typed out word for word what mine said, I couldn’t copy and paste for some reason maybe bc I’m on my ipad?)

Im just curious if mine changed too or if i just never paid attention to detail before tonights “update”

Mine did the same. I wonder if they are sick of us all ordering! LOL but in all seriousness I’m wondering what exactly this change means as well . Like did it change for EVERYONE or just those who updated haha

Mine changed between 6am and 8:30am. I hope it means something. I am really hopping for a ddd tomorrow.
