I get it, we all want our money as fast as we can. But remember when a few short years ago, when we had to mail in our taxes, and we didn’t get a refund for 8-12 weeks? Not for most of us they have our money to us in less than 2. I just think we all need to take a step back. I know this won’t be a popular opinion, but there you have it.

Then you got a letter 8-12 weeks later saying “Your Return was Rejected” because they couldn’t read your bad hand writing.. The good news was you knew your wait time when sending it back.. 8-12 more weeks!!

It’s not ALL about the money for everyone. A lot of identity theft and other types of hold ups are going on that people don’t want to go through. When we feel it’s taking a long time, we have thoughts of identity theft and fraud that some preparers do that we don’t know about.

If our returns are honest or feel that it is, we don’t want to go through all of this waiting. The IRS doesn’t wait to get our money when we owe. We just don’t want anyone messing around with not only our money, but personal information.

We know it takes time for the IRS to process returns, but we are also sick of people stealing identities and doing stuff to try and get extra money that makes the IRS create more system checks and slows down the process even more. People are so quick to jump to conclusions cause we are ready to get our money or see some positive movement.

So excuse us Tyler, it sounds like you received your money already or close to it.
