Refund Deposited!! Happy dance! No update IRS

Hey everyone I’m really sorry about all the issues happening especially about the people who filed a long time ago and still have no bars. I did my taxes through TurboTax on the 22nd of January. I was accepted on the 22nd, approved on the 30th, direct deposit date was scheduled for the 3rd, was deposited today the 3rd, today. The weird thing is that the deposit update on the IRS website is not updated. It still says accepted, approved. Not Refund sent. Totally fine with me though all i care is that it was sent. Clearly IRS is having some issues this week. How can people who applied so long ago not be accepted or approved? Take a look at your bank though. Could be sent without updating IRS. I filed my taxes on Feb 3 2016 and been stuck on the 1st bar. Wmr has not moved called the 1-800 number same thing “your refund has bee beenreceived” is anyone having this issue also? When should I check WMR or my card? Last year when I did it I filed the same time Feb 3 and taxes was deposited Feb 11. Someone ease my mind.

Yes you can get refunds sent without it updating. Our did last year, we got the card in the mail and I activated it, money was there. I was shocked because I had checked the website that morning and it still said that it was processing. I wish it could do that this year for me LOL

@Laura what time did it deposit? And who are you banking with?

that is normal. the wmr never updates refund sent before you get the refund.

if your wmr was sitting on bar 1 and you got your deposit that would be exciting and hopeful news for others.
