      So does the IRS place a date on the deposit. Meaning if it hits an account does it say do not release till the 22nd like payroll or can they release at time they receive it?
      I hope I’m asking that properly. I have BARELY managed to hang on the house we are moving into so I’m curious what I could possible expect.

          only those like metabank(Netspend) Greendot(Turbo tax debit etc (wIth DIRECT DEPOSIT ASAP)

          post as soon as they get notification. All other cards and banks keep it pending until the release date

            I had a refund date for 02/22/2018 and my refund showed up pending in my account yesterday with a release date of the 22nd

                Most banks have a 4 day hold on ACH transfers between institutions. Check the ‘pending deposits’ terms with your bank.
