I always get my refund around Feb 27th….it’s aapril 27 and I still don’t git nothing just days still processing I called there’s no audio and I didn’t grt anything in mail they said don’t make sense

So, updated from “waiting routine review” after entering the verification code I received in the mail. now says Processed.

I got a letter in the mail that was dated MARCH 25 2021, recieved it on April 12 2021 saying that i needed to verify my identity by entering a verification code online, and enter how much my “overpayment” ie; line 29 on my pa return which is basically your refund amount. So I did that on Monday the 12th and as of today the 14th its still saying 4-6 WEEKS BLAH BLAH BLAH like it has been saying for almost 2 months now. Filed in first week February accepted when they opened on 12th.

Filed my return on 2/15/20. Was received on 2/17/20. First the site said it was received and that it would be 6 to 8 weeks to process. It’s been 6 weeks and now all it says is there is no information on my return. With? I’ve never had this problem before

From an email I got from the online state department of revenue yes, everything is currently closed. Lord knows when we will get our state refunds. I had to amend mine thanks to H&R screwing up my dependants

The website hasn’t changed, but when I called the phone number it says the date my return was accepted 1/22 and that on 1/30 it got submitted for routine review. To give it 4-6 weeks for an update. Seems like this happens every year. Always get my refund around the second week of March no matter when I file.

Hopefully we see some deposits soon! I looked back on the past 3 years. I have gotten my state on Feb 21. I’m hopeful. Last year was the longest I’ve ever had to wait though. I didnt get it until March 7th.

@Tati: In my experience, you will get your deposit before it moves to any deposit date. That’s the final message you will see. That means it’s been Approved just waiting for it to deposit.

I’m also at the “processed but not deposited/mailed” message. I’ve never gotten that before as I always had to do some type of verification. Will it jump to approved or will it stay this way?

In my experience, I ALWAYS get my state refund before any update on their website. Last year I had my refund in the bank and checked my status and it still said no refund info available. PA sucks a lot at returns.

Mine was approved right away (filed 3/14, approved 3/18). The “n/a” disappeared 3/19 but still no deposit. I dont understand why it takes so long for them to deposit once everything is cleared.

Second year in a row for me. State is asking for supporting documentation for my unreimbursed employee expenses. I will send it in once. If they reject it, like they did originally last year, I will be going to see my representative. You would think that since we did this last year, and my employer hasn’t changed, they wouldn’t ask for the same information two years in a row. Oh well.

So my refund was accepted on 1/30. I called on 3/18 and the representative told me they just started 2018 returns. Lol on 3/19 my refund was approved so now I’m just waiting on a deposit date in which they say 4-6 weeks. I’m pretty sure when you call the reps have no idea what they’re looking at or what they’re saying.

I filed 2/5/19 . Called Pa. Dept. Of Revenue this past Monday (3 days ago) . Lady told me my return was sent that day to Pa. Dept. Of Treasury for payment (Direct Deposit) . No updates to website. Still no refund as of 1 pm today. Previous posts showed a few people stating they got their direct deposit on March 7 and March 14/15th. Was hopeful for today since its a Thursday like the previous deposit dates. I guess I’m just not that lucky. Maybe tomorrow!

Last year I filed on same date. Late March I received a notice that they wanted documentation for my employee expenses. Sent everything in. Later received a notice that it wasn’t good enough. Resent everything. Another notice that it wasn’t good enough. Paid a visit to my state representative. Miraculously had refund within 5 days after that visit and his phone call to someone in the Department of Revenue. That was late May. Have a sneaky feeling I will be making another visit to my representative.

Called the bank ; they said Sorry, don’t see anything in your account as far as a tax refund goes. The state took the time to review , process and approve a return but couldn’t take a few more minutes to tap a few keys and send a direct deposit! I bet when they get to their own personal tax return the policy changes then !

It is no joke, mine was approved and it’s been two weeks and no direct deposit. Mine says 4 to 6 weeks for deposit. I asked them why it is if we owe them money they want it yesterday, but when they owe us money, they collect the interest off it for a while and send it when ever they feel like it. This is a joke! I filed 2/6. I received my refund to my RushCard yesterday morning. They’d do deposit a few days early. Website hadn’t updated yet with my deposit date. Boyfriend filed 1/31 and still doesn’t have his yet. I would imagineer will this week.

So accepted 1/28, been processed as of march 1. So I called yesterday she said it was approved as of march 4. But she couldn’t see a direct deposit date yet. Of course she said it used to be 2 to 4 weeks for direct deposit, but since the backlog now we are waiting 4 to 6 weeks for deposit.

Hello! I went through Jacskon Hewitt. I got a email this morning stating funds have been deposited to allow 42-72 hrs. I also got a text from Republic that they released to the bank. So the last time i got these messages i got my federal that night. So if u have Netspend and went through Jackson we should see our deposits tonight!!! Finally!!!!

I bit the bullet and called yet again. Nothing new. According to rep. Mine hasnt been looked at. They have it but she said they are just so back logged. I asked was there an offset or anything. She said mam, I honestly do not know. I told her how I had called before. She said yes, I see you called on the 8th. her advice was to 1. Call bacK in 4 weeks. and 2. Create an account on Pa Revenue state website. She said updates are made daily and when they process anything we would see it on there. AT THIS POINT I JUST WANT ANYBODY ON THIS FORUM TO GET IT. THAT WOULD GIVE ME HOPE…LOLOLOLOLOLOL

@Angela last year I filed on 02/01 on 02/19 it said my refund was processed and please wait 4-6 weeks for a refund. The refund went into my bank on 02/21. I checked when I got home and it was still on the same message. it never updated to a refund date. the one thing I can say it seems they are running behind this year so it might take longer. I will find out this week.

My federal refund is actually pending for the 27th in my account. I’m not sure how the state does it, because this is my first time filing in PA, but unless they just post it to your account then as of right now it hasn’t been sent to my bank at all. -

Finally got a new update this morning that I was hoping for. It says my return was processed and please allow 4-6 weeks for your refund. This means it should be in the bank this week. Last year I received my refund right after this message and there was never a refund date.

My refund status said there is an adjustment made to my refund and to allow 4-6 weeks for refund. It also said I’d receive a letter in the mail explaining the adjustment. I called them and they said they weren’t showing an adjustment but it could be too early to tell. It’s just another waiting game at this point.

Definitely no movement and I got accepted 1/23 got my ddd for federal today but not state so no one can say we wasn’t accepted before 1/28 because I was and got my fed today the state though OMG somethings gotta be wrong cause it’s been almost a month sat.

Anyone saying your PA return was accepted before 1/28 must have used an outside tax preparer or online software. PA’s tax season did not start until 1/28. The PA E-File site wouldn’t even allow any new activity until that date. So if you’re counting weeks since you were accepted, that’s the date to go by.
MOMO, I’ve repeatedly posted that my PA refund was deposited yesterday. I come on this forum every year and have no reason to lie.

Pa return accepted 1/23 still no update or deposit to my account. I qualified for relief/forgiveness so I’m getting back everything PA took out. I got this last year for the first time ever too. I also got a notice around this time last year that I had to submit social security card, birth certificates and a current medical or school record for all 3 of my kids. I did and got my refund a few weeks later. I told my tax lady about that what I filed this year and she said PA made that a requirement for 2018 if you had dependents, once you are asked to send it you won’t be required again unless you add a dependent or something changes. I check on the PA website for any notices from 2018 there are none, of I flip to 2017 it shows the ones from last year. I don’t get what’s taking them so long this year.

I read that PA didnt start processing until 1/28 and it takes 4-6 weeks to complete. So hopefully we start updating friday cause that would be 4 weeks from 1/28

Well it looks what the rep told me was accurate last week. The good news is that it looks like none from Pa got theirs yet so we really need alert the forum when they start rolling in. At least we all in same boat.

Filed 1/28 on PA direct status on site says no information available. Called and spoke to a rep who basically gave me the same info as automated system. I’m under routine review since 1/30 and the reviewers are 2 weeks behind. So I was told to check back in 2 weeks.

I called the Pa revenue number since all I was getting is “refund information is currently unavailable “ it pretty much said the same thing my return was received on 1/26 and as of 1/29 it was under routine review🤦♀️

I filed my own taxes with PA E-File on 1/28. Due to a couple raises this past year my refund went down by about half but getting something back is always better than nothing…or having to pay in extra!

As of 1:45pm on 2/18/19, my state refund is showing as pending in my bank account.
PA WMR still just shows “Your refund in the amount of *** was processed but not yet mailed/deposited. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for your refund to be received.”

I don’t know how many people will get a PA refund because the deductions for children in PA, called Tax Forgiveness, is limited to people with an income under 28,000. This is new.

I was confused as well. She said they were just finishing up the ones from 2017. She said nobody’s would be processed completely for about 2 weeks. I then asked why was I told to call back and that they had my taxes. She said we do, it just wont be processed. I then asked to speak with a supervisor. She said that she would put me on a list for callback as none one available. a 72 hour call back. smh.

Ok, Not sure whats going on. I called last week. I was told they had it. It was still under review, but no flags or cause for concern. JUST CALLED A FEW MINS AGO. REP STATED THEY ARE STILL BEHIND FROM LAST YEAR. SHE SEEMED SHOCKED THAT THE PREVIOUS REP GAVE ME THAT INFO AND TOLD ME NO ones has even been touched for 2018. She seemed very shocked that the previous rep had given me any info. I’m in Southeastern PA. Someone else should call. I had high hopes from Coldinpa.

As of 12:30 EST my PA refund is in the bank. Filed 1/23, moved to the 4-6 weeks message on PA’s WMR last week. As an added bonus, I’m a PATH Act’er with EITC and somehow my Federal refund was in the bank today, too! Glad I called!

Refunds are processed throughout the week. You will actually receive the deposit before the Department will be given the date it was deposited. It can be deposited at any point within 3-4 weeks from 02/08/2018.

I filed on 1/29 and was accepted on 1/30. I just checked the online system and it just says the received my refund request. So I called them a little bit ago and spoke to a woman and she says that it is still being processed and something about an “adjustment on line 1”, I asked what that means and she didn’t know. She said to call back next week if nothing changes on their website. It’s always when you really need the money that this kinda of stuff happens.

My online updated showing my adjustment and new refund amount but no deposit date. So I called and was told my refund is approved and may take another 3-4 weeks to be deposited. She did also mention it could be sooner, but that is the time frame they provide people.

Still nothing for me. I processed 2/9/17 and it hasn’t been mailed/deposit yet. I am beginning to see a pattern with the people who did get refunds. Its 9-11 days after they processed.

Hey guys,
Just wanted to update that my pa state return did deposit this morning into my account but pa revenue site still says “processed but not mailed/deposited please allow 4-6 weeks” very very slow this year but I filed and was accepted 1/25 and have had that message since February 3 or 4th, and had eic and actc so I don’t know if that was the hold up or not -
Anyone know when they update?

Mines is at processed but not yet mailed. Tomorrow will be a week that I have had that message. They received my return 1/20. There are people that filed after me that got their money already.

Last year my PA refund was deposited fairly early. This year is ridiculously slow. I’m still stuck on the Please wait 4-6 weeks for a deposit crap. Just give me my lousy four hundred bucks already! Cmon man.

I filed and was accepted on the 23rd and was wondering why i’m still on a “routine review” message..apparently my return went thru the 1st routine review and was bumped into a SECOND “routine” review ..apparently this is very common (yea right) and my return was placed at the 2nd manual review on Feb 8th..now here’s my favorite part, they review in order by date they received and update weekly to the next batch and they are currently reviewing in returns they received on Jan 25th! so if they take one week to go over one day it looks like they will get to mine in a few months..thanks PA. Has anyone had this happen to them before?

Filed and accepted 1/27. Says it has been processed but not yet mailed/deposited. How much longer do I have to wait?!?!

Stephanie, I agree with PAfiler. The only other thing I’d say is check your account each morning, too. My DD was in the bank before PA’s WMR updated the past two years.

Stephanie I would say you are in the lucky group and now you just have to be patient :) There are still many of us who filed before you that are still in the “waiting for routine review” and have not seen any movement at all.. every year when it says 4-6 weeks it usually takes a week or so, yours is at least on its way and I would just continue to check every morning :)

Ugh I’ve been looking for info on PA state refund and getting all kinds of different info and no clear answers. I filed 1/25 accepted that night a little before 7pm. Got the routine review message, then few days later got the processed message saying 8-10 weeks and then Saturday 2/4 got the message about it being processed but not mailed/deposited 4-6 weeks. Thought for sure I would have gotten it today or at least a direct deposit date. I do have eic and actc but I didn’t think that affected state return but I don’t know anymore. Last year I filed on 1/19, accepted next day and then direct deposited on 2/5. Any information is greatly appreciated :)

I filed on the 23rd accepted the 24th and my message is STILL” currently under routine review” Is ANYONE who filed this early still under the same message? It appears that most have switched to the 8-10 or 4-6 weeks message.

Amber. I had the same 8-10 weeks message yesterday. Now this morning it updated to the 4-6 weeks message. Usually it’s not too long after that before we get our DD.

So today i updated from the “currently under a routine review” statement to this “Your return was received and information is currently being updated to your account. Please allow 8 to 10 weeks from today to receive your refund. If you need additional information, please call 717-787-8201 and a representative will help you.” What does this mean? I don’t remember if i’ve ever seen this before and i’ve been googling it and found a few other people that have had this same message but they never stated what it meant or what happened! Please Help!!

Just wanted to let you all know that as of today I updated from “waiting routine review” to “processed wait 8-10 weeks” I have eitc and path from federal so I feel like progress is slowly but surely happening in PA. Accepted 1/23 -
My pa tax refund updated sunday to say it was approved but not yet deposited or mailed. I was accepted the 22nd or 23rd

Filed the 23rd and have never received the “waiting on routine review” message in any other years. Has anyone received that in past years and it processed right through or does this REALLY mean I am going to join the ” I have been placed in review and will have to wait for weeks and months to get my return” club?

@Liz yea its finished. Its crazy because I seen a few that filed after me who are processed. But yet they claim that they work the returns in the order they are received.Lies!

Last year I got the ” return received waiting for a routine review” well it took until September for them to mail me a letter stating they denied my work related unreiembursed expenses, which I have every receipt and log book for anyway I’m there again with the same message and I’m assuming they will disallow my unreiembursed employee exsenses which means they will not refund me anything. Anyone know how I can claim my work related expenses and NOT get denied?

Due to resequencing, we actually got our PA refund before Federal last year. We’ve also had the refund in the bank before PA’s WMR updated the past two years.

So I learned that PA updates the refund status WEEKLY. Its not like the irs that updates its sytem over night. So refunds could be processed but we will not know until the weekly update. Not sure when that is. I know PA takes forever but im hoping that they push them out fast this year.

Just my experience, but for the last 3-4 years, we’ve received our PA refund in about 3 weeks from the date we filed. Last year I filed on 1/26/16 using the PA Direct File site and the refund was DD on 2/9/16. In 2015 I filed on 1/20/15 and got my PA refund on 2/12/15.

This is my first time getting a state refund in years. I got married and when I filed for 2016 I qualified for a refund this time. I can remember Pennsylvania taking forever to issue refunds. I checked my status earlier and it says that its waiting routine review. So I guess I have to wait weeks for them to review it and weeks after its processed. Other states get theirs back in a few days.

I am in PA, last year I filed in January, was told 6-8 weeks to process and I got my refund in August. Didn’t have to send anything in, they were just slow. I filed on the 23rd this year and got the same 6-8 week message, hoping they are a lot faster this year.

My return was completed on the Free Direct File page on the gov. I file 1/25. My message is
“Your tax return was received on 1/25/2017 and is currently awaiting a routine review. Our examination has not yet been completed.”
It says this every year. Then it goes to processed, then takes 3-4 weeks.

I was approved 3/6/ 2014 for my Pa. State refund. Has anyone had their’s direct deposited within 1-2 weeks? Website only say’s, Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for your refund to be received. Blah blah blah!
