So I check my transcript and I now have code 150 $868. What does that mean? Is that what my refund will be?

@Ladyluck84
It means there is an adjustment to your return that the computer system corrected. Did you file with HRBlock? I’ve seen alot of returns say the exact messages. I am thinking is has something to do with (AGI) Adjusted Gross Income from 2020. If you have all 766 and 786 those numbers will be your return amount. Since yours is 0.00 I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
The following items reflect the amount as shown on the return (PR), and
the amount as adjusted (PC), if applicable. They do not show subsequent
activity on the account.
Can anyone tell me what the last sentence means. It’s on my transcripts under my 766 and 768 codes
It could be money you owe in taxes or what they owe you.
Have code 150 but 00.00 next to it.
My 150 code says 00.00 I’m so confused
I looked at my prior transcripts and I believe from what I’m seeing from the last five years we should get our refund around February 28th I have 766 code plus the Earned Income Tax Credit code
I also have the exact date with the same code but mine says $56
If its a negative or positive symbol next to the amount you subtract/add that to your 766, 768, 806 codes and the amount left is your refund amount.
The 150 code means your taxes was filed and established liability. The amount is a credit owed to you from taxes withheld that year if you overpaid or what you have to pay back. But its a good sign because you have movement. Good luck!
