Offset question….is this an offset?

Ok I owe the IRS 101.00 because of an error. I called the offset line and there is no info on this amount. It says I don’t owe.
I filed on the 24th. Was approved on the 24th and I have no update after. Help?
We are moving soon so like many need this to do so.
Any info would be appreciated.

  IRS debt is not included in the Treasury Offset Program. If you owe the IRS they will just deduct it from your refund. You will see a code for it on WMR once you get your DDD

  Well, first off, there is A LOT of people with no updates yet and not all of them have offsets. There are people like me, who filed the 19th with no offsets, that still have yet to receive an update. Second, TYPICALLY, if it does not list it on the Offset Line then they will not offset your refund. However, the Offset Line does update DAILY. So, if they get your return and process it and go “Oh wait, he owes us money”, even the DAY before your refund is set to be sent out, they can add it to the National Treasury Offset List. However, refunds are not usually delayed due to an offset. The offset will be paid 1-2 days BEFORE your refund is set to be sent to you and they will still send your refund on your DDD.
