No Refund Today

WMR has had 2 bars and a date of today. Still on 2 bars and no refund. No EIC or Tax Credits here. Anyone who had a date of today get their refund?

I had an offset, I owed the IRS $80 which they took and are sending me the rest.

Just an update here. WMR shows 3 bars now and they say they deposited my refund on 2/2/22. I checked with SBTPG which still shows no money received by the IRS. This has not happened before, usually when WMR shows money sent, SBTPG has it and sends it within a few hours. I am losing hope at this point.

@batgirlpa Who do you bank with? I just checked my refund email from last year, and I received mine at 4:47PM Central time. So I think they send throughout the day, and it may depend on your bank.

I guess I will have to call the IRS on Monday. SBTPG hasn’t received the money per their website and WMR still has 2 bars with a dd date of today. Cycle code shows 20220405 which someone said means dd of 1/27 so not sure what is going on with my refund but doesn’t seem good….

Thanks Dan – I just checked and my refund is also in my account. I bank with BofA. I usually get my state back first, so I’m surprised I’ve gotten Federal first.

My refund just hit my bank account at 4 PM EST

I’m pretty sure they are released in batches throughout the day. Last year mine was deposited at 330pm Pacific time.

I think it also has to do with fees being paid up front or out of refund. I feel like I have heard that somewhere.

I dont hold a lot of faith in the WMR tool ever. For the last two years in a row, I received my deposit on a Friday in the middle of the day (I have a Venmo Debit Card) and my bars didnt move to a refund date until after I received my deposit already.

Same here..,WMR says Direct Deposit on 2/2 but there is no refund in my account. Not sure what is going on, but I fully expected it to be there today.

I should also mention that mine goes through SBTPG which shows nothing received by them from the IRS. Not sure what is going on or why WMR says my refund would be sent by today and still is on 2 bars.
