NO 846 code, received refund

      Has anyone ever not had an 846 code on their transcripts and recieved their refund?

          My processing date is 2/11 so no idea what’s going on. Fingers crossed that I get some kind of update tomorrow or Wednesday

                And dont forget, you want to look at your Account transcript, not return.

                  I dont believe so. I think either 2016 or 2017, one of the forums has an IRS code listing and what they stand for.

                  Code 846 is the computer code to release the funds. W/O the system wouldn’t know to initiate the transfer.

                  As for WMR and processing date: Absolutely. I’ve personally received my DD before WMR updated, I’m also a weekly though so it’s about time in regards to transcript update vs. Wmr update.

                  If I remember correctly, processing date is more like a best by date. I speculate it’s an automatic date that if the file is still in the system when that date is reached it gets flagged and brought to the front to be processed. I’ve seen numerous people receive DD before processing date.

                    Every year I file the same credits and dependents except this year my oldest son i am not claiming…last year I had a DDD of 2/22/18 and received my refund on 2/21/18 @ 6:37pm central time and had a processing date of 2/25/18….so I think I will get my deposit on this Thiuraday if I use last years Transcripts as a deciding factor…this year I have a processing date of 2/26/19 no DDD as of yet so I think I will get it 4 days before my processing date but 1 day before my DD date which will be this Thursday which is also my paydate……Does that sound logical to anyone???

                      Exactly! Because if I’m going off of previous years transcripts no matter my cycle code it appears that I always receive the refund before the processing date and before WMR updates. This is the first year I’ve accessed transcripts though so I’m not sure if they DD before the transcripts update with the 846 code

                        I’m curious to the same. I know you can get a deposit before WMR updates but can you get it before your transcript updates?
